The staff was really nice. I went at night during the week about 2 hours before closing. The layout and space of the club was one of the nicest I have seen of a Planet Fitness. The locker rooms had an ironing board, blow dryers, the showers were nice and clean - great for one traveling. Also, the black card spa was incredibly spacious and clean. 👍🏼👍🏼

Planet fitness at Broadway and Swan is an excellent Gym and gets my highest recommendation. Very clean all the equipment is well-maintained and my experiences there have always been positive. First time visiting this club, at 10am on a Saturday. Not too crowded, no waiting at any of the machines. Staff was super friendly and the other guests were all low key, like you expect from a PF club. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because the locker room was freezing cold. Not an issue for me, but a bit uncomfortable if you were to use the showers.

Apparently being rude to custumers and milking the clock while making vile threats are the favorite sport of these employees...... They're as crude, rude, lazy and insulting as they can be, it's far more important for them to play on the company phone and the company's clock than take care of business with the existing customers...... No complaints except that when I go, I always see people getting off machines and not wiping them down. Spray bottles and paper towels are always available, so there is no excuse. Please put more signs up or remind people who do this that it's gross and they need to clean up after themselves.

The general manager here is incredible. As is the entire staff. They always try to make sure each guest is getting the workout they pay for. But there's a down side to this particular location. Everyone uses the 30 minute circuit training for regular workouts. It really interferes with my workout where I can't even get all the machines in. And when you ask people to move when the light turna red, they just roll their eyes and stay there. The management is good about addressing it. But that means I have to stop my workout to let management know and it's counterproductive. But thank you to the general manager for at least addressing it. It's just extremely frustrating.

I used to belong to the one on Bell road in Phoenix/Glendale. Evidently they are independently owned and operated the one on Broadway in Tucson is nothing compared to the one on Bell road in Phoenix. The one in Phoenix has brand new equipment I'm very helpful staff. The one on Broadway people are pretty lazy that work there and really don't feel like they know what they're doing. Also the equipment is very outdated.

The free14-19 year olds are already causing problems at my gym. They crowd equipment, are loud, rude, and the young staff does nothing to help or stop them. I am going to look into another gym. Equipment was already limited. Now its loud, rude, aggressive kids with no adult supervision. There should be posted times that aren't everyday and certain only hours...and staff soley for monitoring these kids with gym prepared activities. This is for all June, July and August! Unacceptable!

The staff were very nice. They offered to help with the machines if I didn't know them. The truth is, and I did say I don't know any of them. So I tanned then walked around to look at the machines and areas. I saw three machines and used them but felt like a bother for anything, so I used the hydro bed. They did not have a trainer at this location, which is to be covered in the membership. Can we please get a trainer here for people like me who have never been to a gym to know how things work. I didn't have a towel, but I didn't know to bring one... luckilythey do have paper towels around to clean up after yourself. Also, a tour of everything would have been nice. That way, if I had any questions, it could have been answered at that time. The atmosphere otherwise would have been less intimidating. I will go back and try again because I have the membership. Maybe I'll try another location. Its further for me to drive, but maybe they will have someone who can help me know what machines I need to use and how. Overall, if I knew what I was doing, it would have 5 stars

I normally love this gym but every time I go the hydro chairs and beds are down and not working. There are already minimal amenities compared to other gyms so the few they have should be working. The "black card" isn't cheap so the "perks " of having one should be readily available. Other than that they have good equipment so I guess that's something.

I tried calling your Broadway store in Tucson to find out if I get a black card membership, does it include a personal trainer and assisted stretching. This was my biggest concern before I start laying money out every month. After about 5 to 7 minutes of listening to Barbie on the recording someone finally picked up and had no idea how to answer the question. Nor did she have any kind of customer service skills. Customer service is what makes or breaks a company. But I'm sure you may or may not know that since half of your responses to the reviews on here don't even coincide with what the reviewer is talking about.
Since you are the owner, maybe you should be addressing the issues instead of telling somebody to go see management when they're already here discussing their concerns. I think you're a whole operation is a joke

Have visited on two different occasions, as an out of town visitor.
The staff at check in were friendly each time and kept the process simple. The facility seems clean and machines in working order. A set of water fountains were broken on my 2nd visit, but did find another one.

Only issue I experienced, was one male trying to hog 3 smith machines on a very busy Saturday afternoon. He had his backpack and junk all over the floor between two, and was with friends using a 3rd one. I hopped on one of the empty ones and knocked out my sets, then noticed him hanging off in the distance eating on the gym floor. I know PF has a “no judgement zone” but would still expect a level of respect and sharing of machines.
So, overall my experience would not be enough to deter me; if I was local and needed a membership as the other guests all seemed polite and knocking out their workouts in the shared space respectfully!

Parking seems like it could be difficult on crazy busy days and the lot seemed extra dark at night.

I deal with chronic Liver failure and in order to not die early or end up in extreme pain I had to make some serious changes in my life. Fitness being the main part of that change. Really a great gym, but since October 7th the men’s bathroom have been under renovation, it started with the men’s locker room being closed down to which they put porta potties outside which was all well and fine until they finished the men’s locker room and then said that while they work on the women’s locker room the men would still have to use the porta potties while the women get to use the Newley renovated men’s locker room. Wasn’t a problem until it started getting cold and now we have to use the bathroom in 40 degree weather for another month.

Ordinarily this is the best location overall, more laid back atmosphere and staff are more polite than the other locations.

However, all locations have been renovating the place and have clearly been poorly planned. And the males have shouldered all of the discomforts of this process. I understand there is a higher level of potential mishaps having females use the ports potties. But planet fitness has made abundantly clear that one gender is more valuable than the other. So where’s the equality at? Where’s the equal treatment? Not here. Here at planet fitness, and you’re male. You’re comfort and convenience comes last. Btw that will be another 20 bucks please.
