This place is a lot better since they got a new manager. The previous lady had an attitude and her negative energy definitely reverberated amongst the rest of the employees. Everyone is so polite and genuine now. Place is EXTREMELY clean, I’ve been to hospitals that weren’t as clean as this place. Sheesh.

Don’t forget it’s no longer 24/7! It’s 24/5, on weekends they are not 24 hours.

This incident is very typical of attending the planet fitness gym Near Fortuna Blvd., In Yuma. My back is completely fused. I cannot bend at all when I drop things. I have to kneel to pick them up and struggle to rise. On several occasions, Alberth noticed my having difficulty and assisted me, even when he needed to walk quite a ways to reach me. His supervision of the gym is that complete. What really brought home his consideration for his clientele there was him telling me one time when he was in his own gym, clothes and off duty, but exercising for himself there, that if I needed help, I should ask him, even though he was not on duty. What a fine person and manager!

I gave this gym a 5 star rating due to several reasons. First when I first entered the gym I was greeted by an employee name Sue. She was friendly, professional and explained how the membership worked, then she gave a an unhurried tour of the equipment and other amenities offered. I had not been to a gym in quite sometime and I made the decision to join on the spot. I started working out the very next day and have incorporated a new routine as a result. Thank you

Gave a 2 star due to the fact the equipment is new and updated , staff was very friendly, Main desk attendant was excellent and followed policy, however , the reason I’m giving this a very low rating is due to the fact that a 24 hour drop in fee for military veteran was 15 dollars USD, that’s insane! I’m not here for a long period of time, so a membership isn’t fees-able at this time. Highly recommended lowering the price for drop in fee.
Had no issues with anyone or any equipment 5 star for those.

My husband and I both go to PF and feel so much better after a workout. The employees are very friendly and helpful. They greet you upon arriving and acknowledge you again, when leaving. We are retired and have flexible schedules. We enjoy the Planet Fitness app with the crowd meter. It’s so nice to know when it’s not busy. We have never had an issue with not being able to get on a machine. There is always one available, when we have arrived. We especially enjoy the hydromassage beds after a workout with our Black Card Spa membership. The facility is always clean with working machines. I highly recommend Planet Fitness in the Foothills.

Im not one to give reviews but i do gotta say that I've been going to this gym for about 4 to 5 months and the two guys that are always there; are doing a super great job. They always show a positive attitude, are always ready to help a customer and are always cleaning the place. I would definitely recommend that gym to anyone else thats interested in going.

I joined a little over two months ago. My first impression was fairly small gym very well laid out. Lots of cardio equipment, but sufficient resistance equipment. The staff is very friendly and willing to help. They are constantly cleaning and refilling spray bottles.
I prefer to go early morning to beat the rush and there is still a good representation that early. I don't see many campers. (People camped out in machine on their phones doing nothing) and certainly no "Lunks". This has been a good experience for me and don't plan on changing gyms anytime soon.

12:00 am to 03:00 am. This place is always clean and getting cleaned at these hours. The staff is super friendly and hard working. This location always smells a whole lot better than other locations that I have been to. Whenever a piece of equipment gets worn out, it gets replaced as fast as possible.

Horrible gym! Employees are rude! Bathrooms are dirty. Employees just sit on their phones and don’t wipe anything down. Bottles sprays were left empty! Just a horrible gym overall! I’ll definitely be canceling my membership with them ASAP!!!

This gym is very clean but when you check in the staff insist only being the ones that scan your membership! They don’t have scanners sitting out for people that want to get in and start their workout! Sometimes the line can be 4-5 people deep! Majority of the people that go here are older and don’t have smart phones so they have to dig through their stuff looking for the membership number! Very very frustrating! I actually asked once why we couldn’t check ourselves in and was told, “people don’t pay their bill so this way they can catch them and have a conversation with them!” This sounds like a management problem, but instead they push the burden over to the customer that pays their bills! This is the ONLY PF i have been to that does this!!!!! Get your act together!!!!

I love working on the recumbent bike that moves both your arms and legs. The only problem that I see is that they only have 2 in the whole gym and sometimes you have to wait for your turn. Very popular machine with us older gals.

El día martes fui al gym como de costumbre hay un lugar que haces ejercicio y es como un cuartito donde hay creo 10 máquinas entonces haces ejercicio unas cuantas repeticiones y te vas a la siguiente y así para no atorar el ejercicio de la gente. Entonces yo decido empezar por lo último que es lo que estaba desocupado y para esto se aparece una señora que dijo ser la manager Kassandra me dijeron que se llama entonces me dijo que me moviera que por qué necesitaban la máquina una señora americana es la que esperaba la máquina y le dije ho si ya voy a terminar y ella ya empezó como a levantar la voz y me decía quítate en inglés y le dije si claro ya estoy por terminar se molestó y me grito le hablo a una persona de su personal que habla español pensando que aló mejor no le había entendido en ingles a lo que le contesté a la otra muchacha si si le entendí todo lo que me dijo y la manager me grita yo también se español y me repitio como 4 veces que ella era la manager que me quitara de ahí . Y no solo a mí me quito de las máquinas estaban 3 muchachos que parecía estaban enseñando a otro muchacho y les dijo no. No pueden estar ahí tienen. Que separarse y a todos nos repetía que teníamos que hacer las cosas como ella quería .se miraba muy alterada la señora quizás estaba teniendo un mal día ho quizas quería acabar rápido su rutina . Por que ella alegaba ser la manager y yo soy la manager decía muy imponente. Pero la señora estaba en pleno rutina junto con su amiga la señora americana por la cual me quito de la máquina..... Realmente lamento tener que poner está reseña. por qué todo el personal de planet fitness son muyyyy muy agradables muy atentos y súper amables y siempre está muy limpio todo el lugar tengo desde enero en ese lugar y jamás había pasado por una situación asi

Came for a early morning workout and to my astonishment what an amazing gym! Super cleanly super friendly staff more pleased than I’ve ever been at any planet fitness. As soon as I checked in, they immediately told me where the locker rooms were seeing that I was from out of town. Every piece of equipment in there was up-to-date works perfectly not one piece of equipment had a malfunction. All of their equipment was stated with new advanced technologies I’ve never seen in any other planet fitness. The restrooms, as well as locker room were immaculately clean. Overall, my experience at this planet fitness was one that I will remember forever. I just want to thank again the staff for being friendly, welcoming and receptive to new people in their area. I am grateful that they recognized I was not from the area and quickly let me know where things were so I would be able to quickly do my work out. Again the showers extremely clean, restrooms top of the line, and the locker room was astonishing. They do have lockers that you can use. Make sure to bring a lock if you don’t have one. You can purchase at the front desk as well.
Overall, this has been one of my favorite planet fitness to visit on my time traveling the roads. This planet fitness also leans more towards the seasoned generations, so you don’t see a lot of teenagers or young folks in this gym. Overall five stars across the board!!!

Never have to wait for equipment. Very nice staff. The one thing I don't understand or care for is that metal fence where ALL the traffic has to go thru one way in or out of the gym. Never ever saw this in any gym. It would be nice to just walk from the locker into the gym without some metal fencing in the way, which we have zero clue why it's that way 🤔
