This place is amazing! Everyone is really friendly, and as a first timer, everyone was welcoming and the trainer made sure we were safe and showing modifications if needed. Staff was super friendly and the workouts are fun AND challenging. The community here is supportive & friendly. Staff is motivating. If you are looking for a clean, non-intimidating, supportive community gym, good trainers, this is it!

I'm giving this place 3 stars because I feel like it costs WAY TOO MUCH to join this gym. Don't get me wrong, the facility is nice and the staff is friendly. You get a more personal experience here since they truly want to see you succeed....but not for the price you pay.

Came in for a "free consultation "....wasn't a consultation at all...was a group sales pitch for all of us who came to check the place out & try a work out. They ended up talking about needing a 4 or 5 hundred dollar "deposit" to get into the program etc. Waste of time and gas to get there.

I just completed the six week challenge at psychosomatic fitness. After more than 30 workouts and watching my nutrition, I feel so much better and now down 21lbs!! I loved the team at PTC Grant and they continued to challenge me with each workout. They had early morning workouts which worked for my work schedule.

The grant location has amazing trainers and a great staff. They are knowledgeable and I always leave feeling better than when I came in. I have successfully completed the smaller 21 day challenge as well as the 6week challenge and I lose way more weight than I ever do on my own. Nothing feels quite as good as fitting in all of your old clothes again. I always recommend their workouts to all of my friends and family!

This gym is awesome! If you’re looking to get back into working out or you want something different (whether loosing weight, being more active, getting stronger, etc.) I highly recommend Psychosomatic. The trainers are motivating and supportive. Plenty of scheduled HIIT workouts throughout the day. Clean facility. Just overall a great place.

Highly recommended. This was my 2nd challenge, I returned after putting on some weight from a medication that was prescribed, also because I had areas that I wanted to tone. I joined the 6 week challenge because I knew me just getting your typical gym membership wouldn't work for me. I am the type of person that needs a structured diet as well as a structured workout routine, working with trainers who will show me how to correctly do certain workouts, push, and motivate me, I came to the right place of course! Getting up early to go workout before work was a struggle I'm not going to lie, but every single time I was done with that workout I felt so much better. This 6 week challenge helped me not only physically but mentally as well it reduce a lot of stress and anxiety that I was going through and gave me clarity. I love Psychosamatic!!!

I cant say enough great things about this gym and my trainers. Amanda and Greyson are so great at what they do. I was having pain and I told them what was going on, not only did they change certain exercises for me so I wouldn't hurt but they also made it a point to ask me how I was feeling everytime they saw me. I wasn't just another paying member they actually cared. My results were better than I anticipated. More importantly I feel really good about myself. I am so happy I decided to do this. If you have doubts just meet up with either of them, and you will see how great this gym is.

If youre looking for a good place to being motivating yourself, this is it! I was sad and depressed on the couch, and wasnt the exciting mommy I wanted to be. I joined the 6 week challenge to lose 20lb amd regained all my energy and love of life again. The trainers help and push you through the journey and everyone is so supportive. This isn't your average gym. This is accountability, guidance and community as you work toward your weight loss goals. Trainers know your name, your needs and work with you so you succeed. meal plans are provided to help you as well. I lost 23,4 lbs innthe 6 week challenge and had fun doing it. I highly recommend this gym!

I recently completed my 1st 6 week challenge. I enjoyed the workouts and the trainers Gus & Anais were great. They hold you accountable, (which I needed) especially the workouts with partners. The diet is challenging, but if you Follow The Dang Instructions (FTDI) you will lose the weight. I lost 29.6lbs! I feel great, I learned new workout routines, and healthier options to eat. If you are serious about losing weight I recommend Psychosomatic Transformation Center.

At the end of February I took the initiative of getting on the 6 week transformation challenge. I did it because I was tired of the bad eating habits, clothes not fitting and to be honest my confidence wasn’t where it usually is. When I signed up for the challenge I was nervous because I know the mental strength that would be required. I was also excited about where I could be after the 6 weeks. I needed that push to be held accountable and the staff and trainers did just that and kept me on track! I cannot begin to explain how good it felt after just the 1st week of classes. After seeing the results the temptations became easier to resist. I did meet the goal of 20lbs in 6weeks but I am FAR from done and look forward to accomplishing more goals and continued success. HUGE shoutout to Erin Strand, Amanda Avalos, and all the AMAZING trainers at PTC! Lets get it!!

After I had my youngest I ended up keeping the extra weight; After that I was experiencing a sort of depression and was looking for a way to get out of it, I was scrolling through Facebook one day and saw a review of the program and decided to try it out. After the first day of the program I felt so welcome, the staff is very helpful and high energy to keep me motivated. It’s a challenging workout but, works quickly and I saw results after only a week. I definitely learned that my body can handle more than I thought it could!

After having 7 kids and a back surgery getting fit didn't seem possible. The staff and other clients are proving me oh so wrong!! I'm currently taking a 6 week challenge and have never been more motivated and inspired to get fit. They make it so easy laying out meal plans day by day! Everyone is so supportive. It is definitely hard work, probably the hardest thing I've ever done physically, but the staff is crazy encouraging! And the way they mix up the workouts make it fun, exciting, and new every day! If you feel lost with getting fit, and eating healthy this is definitely the place to find your way!

If you're looking to lose weight I highly recommend doing the 6 week challenge! I wanted to be healthy (healthier) again and felt like I was in a rut and didn't feel motivated to go to the gym as I previously did. Doing the challenge helped me get my motivation back and once I started to see and feel the changes it continued my motivation. I lost 21.2 pounds and I'm happy to enjoy meal prepping again and hitting the gym.

I highly recommended the 6 week challenge for anyone that is looking for a fast and healthy way to transform your body. The trainers are amazing they help you with your form and push you to give it all you got!!! I lost 20.4 pounds pounds in 6 weeks and learned so much about my body. I also made some great friends along the way. One of the best decisions I ever made. Best advice that helped me the most through the challenge was in Orientation Amanda said the hard part is just getting here all we ask you to do is just show up and we will do the rest!!!! And I lived by that daily when I struggled to get to class... So join the psycho movement all you have to do is JUST SHOW UP and you will be successful!! ❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️

I lost 22.2 lbs! I never thought I would be one for dieting, but 10 months after I had my son, I realized I needed a change. The 6 wk challenge is pricey, but if you follow the instructions, trust the process, and put in the hard work (having a motivator helps!)...it won't be a problem. I felt different in the first week. I found out what dairy and sugar really did to my body once I stopped eating it. I felt like a new person!
I did not pay all of the money up front. Amanda was willing to work with me on a payment plan until my start date. I knew about the diet, but not the detox the first 3 days. I found out about that the day before the challenge started, but because I was so motivated, I made do with what I had at home. I encourage anyone to try working out with more than their instructor at their home gym, every instructor is different, find the one that gives you the best workout. For me it was the Grant location, my home gym was Harrison.
**For a complete lifestyle change and transformation physically, mentally, and emotionally, this is the program for you!!

I just completed my first 6 week challenge with the Psychosomatic Transformation Center! I attended the Harrison location with Gustavo and Brittany, and let me just say how amazing they are! With their help and lots of hard work at home and in the gym, I lost 22.6lbs! There were some times where I wanted to sleep in and eat junk food, but my conscious wouldn't let me. I'm glad I didn't give in! In fact, I learned about new healthy eating habits, which I'm so proud of. Now I know I can continue with this healthy lifestyle! I would definitely recommend this challenge and gym to anyone out there!

I entered this challenge to lose weight quickly, and that is exactly what happened. I knew I could lose the weight on my own, however, I have always struggled with completing too much cardio versus toning and strengthening all of my muscle groups. In addition, I struggled with ensuring I had enough protein, carbs, vegetables, and water. So I needed some guidance on exercises that work all my muscles as well as meal plans. This challenge gave me exactly that. I knew what foods I could eat, shouldn’t eat, and my workouts were planned each day working a different muscle group. The trainers were absolutely amazing and also educated me if I did not have the correct form and/or if I could go heavier with weights. They encouraged me every step of the way and ensured that I was challenging myself in order to have continuous improvement. I enjoyed the group atmosphere workout and how some days you challenged your peers by not moving to the next exercise until everyone completed the exercise. I ended up working out 6 times a week versus the recommended of 5. I lost 23.8lbs and could not be happier with the results! I dropped from a size 15/16 to a size 7/8. My old clothes fit, I do not have my “baby fat” from my most recent pregnancy (my newborn is now 3 months), and my wedding dress fits better than I imagined! The pictures look like I lost much more, so the scale is nothing but a number. For breastfeeding mommas, I was extremely worried about losing my supply with a different diet and intense exercise, however, there was support from Eric (a knowledgeable trainer) regarding how to alter your meal plan to have more carbs in order to be able to make your milk. Even with the added carbs I still lost the weight. I breastfed during the challenge and did not lose my supply of milk!!!
For improvement, I wish there was more support to transition from a meal plan of losing weight to a meal plan of maintaining weight. I also wish the gym membership was more affordable so that I could continue attending as I made great friendships and again enjoy the group atmosphere. I also did not like that the supplements the gym sells are pushed to sell without really taking everyone’s needs into consideration. I was informed by management staff that the supplements were safe to consume while breastfeeding and after taking them for a couple of days, checked with my doctor as my infant was extremely fussy. My doctor, midwife, Pediatrician, and “MothertoBaby” resource all confirmed some of the supplements are not safe for breastfeeding. They cited research to support their recommendation. I immediately stopped taking the supplements, gave my baby frozen milk I had from days prior to taking the supplements, she went back to normal, THANK GOD. But I was left with all of these supplements that I spent hundreds of dollars on and I could not consume them nor offered any type of refund. I provided the information to the Facebook group in case there were other breastfeeding mothers, and management did apologize stating they had not been provided information that it was not safe previously and they would pull breastfeeding mothers aside at the nutrition seminar to inform them they should check with their doctor. So my feedback to management was to just have people check with their doctor’s regardless and not take it upon themselves to inform whether they are “safe” or “not safe.” I believe they should leave that decision to the member to discuss with their doctor and not mislead people. I also believe they should inform people they CAN lose the weight and be successful WITHOUT the supplements, as they are extremely expensive and people feel pressured to purchase the supplements because they feel they can’t lose the weight without them, when you can. The supplements are presented in a fashion that you need to buy them. In the end everything worked out, and I would most definitely recommend this gym to friends and family!

2 months ago I committed to the Psychosomatic Challenge. I followed the meal plans, I food prepped for the week, I attended 30 workouts, and my final weigh in was my reward of Following The Damn Instructions (FTDI)! I lost 21.6 lbs!!! I recently took part of the 6 week 20 pound challenge, I'm not gonna lie I was hesitant and very pessimistic towards whether or not I'd be successful. Two days before the challenge started I even hurt my back at work and was put out of work for two weeks. I thought "that's it, I officially set myself up for failure and I'm not gonna get anywhere with a messed up back". I was wrong, the trainers here were aware of my injury and modified every workout I needed help with until I could successfully do them properly. The trainers pushed us to believe in ourselves and fellow challengers always helped each other with morale. We became one big family all striving for the same goal. It was so much fun and I lost the 20 lbs just by FTDI!!!! I recommend this place to those who want to make a change. You won't regret it.

I started "Psycho" a couple years ago but "fell off the wagon." When I started back a few months ago, I was apprehensive that the trainers would give me a hard time but not at all. In fact, they were wonderfully supportive and made me feel like I never left. It's not easy, but if you're serious about losing weight and/or getting in shape, this place will do it. Before I started the 6 week challenge, I never thought I would be able to lose the 20 pounds, let alone find the willpower to let go of my previous lifestyle. When I started, it was hard to resist temptation, but knowing I had a team of fantastic staff/trainers along with many people who were there for the ultimate goal of achieving a healthy, happy lifestyle, it made it so much easier. Thanks to the team at Grant, I've lost 26 pounds so far and Im on the road to losing more because I now have the tools needed to reach my health goal. I took the 6 week 20 lbs challenge and it was so worth it. Although, I did not lose the 20lbs in 6 weeks I still lost 18lbs plus gained confidence and strength physically and mentally. It was one of the best decisions I could have made for myself.
I worked out at 2 locations (Harrison & Broadway) and (Grant & Swan) both locations had amazing staff. BUT I would have to say the staff at the Grant location were phenomenal! The trainers will modify any work that best fits your needs. All the trainers have great attitudes and personalities to make all the work outs that much more interesting and fun. #TEAMGRANT
So if you are ever thinking about doing a challenge or joining as a member I would say DO IT! It's worth the experience.

When I started out at the gym I was so nervous because of how out of shape I was. I used to teach aerobic classes and used to pride myself on being fit and healthy. Once life catches up with you with work, family and sports commitments with my kids I just threw in the towel on fitness and my only plan was winging it. This was not a successful plan and my health was suffering from it. I decided to do the 6 week challenge as my mother day present and my husband decided to join me. Once I started working out and following the meal plan I started to see results! I lost a total of 24 pounds in 6 weeks and I decided to join the club because of the wonderful trainers, motivating workouts and great meal plans that ensure success!! This is truly one of those "you get out of it what you put into it" type things. In 6 weeks, I melted 8.9% body fat and I watched not only my body, but my mind transform. I have learned that you are far more capable of doing something than you think you are- thanks to the supportive staff and members who come together to encourage and support each other as a family.
I not only overcame mental, but also physical obstacles during my 6 weeks, I owe a huge shout out to the trainers and directors that helped modify workouts and pushed me to my limits while picking me up when I felt defeated.

I rarely write reviews for anything, but if any place deserves one, and a 5 star one at that, it’s definitely this one. I started the 6-week, 20 lb challenge with PTC and I am absolutely thrilled with the results! Not only that, but the journey along the way was great, too. From orientation on day 1, they are transparent about the difficulty of the challenge and how necessary it is to follow the directions to see the results and believe me, IT WORKS! I lost 22.4 lbs in 6 weeks and I gained confidence, strength, an amazing fit fam, and so much more! The trainers are all super friendly, very motivating and helpful, especially when it comes to modifying workouts for different levels of ability or any injuries or mobility issues. The meal plan is realistic and doable if you dedicate some time to meal prepping. I could not be happier with the outcome and I am happy to say I will be continuing my fitness journey with PTC and all the wonderful people there!

I can’t say enough good things about Psychosomatic Transformation Center. I did my workouts at the Harrison location and LOVED everything about it. Every workout was different so never got boring and was always a tough workout. The results show for themselves. I took the 6 week 20 lb challenge and lost 23.2 lbs. I had lost 20 lbs before starting the challenge so I was a little worried about hitting my 20 lbs. With the help of the AMAZING trainers & staff Gustavo, Brittany, Greyson and Ashley encouraging throughout every workout and helping when I hit my plateau I did it! Knowing that Karey was available at anytime for questions or concerns was very comforting. I am now down 43 lbs since January and I feel great and now understand the positive side of clean eating and enjoy exercising! I highly recommend PTC to everyone!

The trainers here are great, and the other people in classes aren’t judgmental at all! I’m finding easy to stay motivated as well since I’m constantly seeing pictures of the transformations that people get from going through the program. Sometimes some of trainers aren’t sure when you ask them questions about the challenges, so you have to make sure to ask the location manager, which you can do on Facebook.

Due to having Asthma I've always been encouraged to have a healthy lifestyle. I've never been a fan of working out and I would join a gym and would easily loss interest and motivation. When I heard about the 20lb 6 week challange I decided to give it a try and I successfully completed the challange by losing 22lbs. The meal plan was easy to follow and my favorite part was that I could eat as many cucumbers as I wanted. The workouts were always different, never boring and well explained. At the group trainings I felt comfortable and in a no judgment zone due to all of us working towards the same goal. The trainers were always encouraging and supportive , I always looked forward to the high fives. I highly recommend this gym and I can proudly say that since I started my journey I use my inhaler less than I did before. I am so grateful to the Grant staff for all the warm welcomes and the great support they provided, I couldn't have done this without them.

I decided to do the 6 week, 20 lb. challenge because I needed some changes in my fitness routine. After 6 weeks I lost 22 lbs. and realized a few things.
1. PTC trainers are fun to be around, very energetic, and motivating during workouts.
2. The workouts focused on different muscle groups each day and varied every week. This was great because it added variety to my fitness routine, BUT I noticed right away it didn't provide me with the intense cardio I was getting elsewhere.
3. The meal plan was non existent as a person who follows the vegan diet. The staff misled me to believe they had a proper vegan meal plan before I joined. The PTC staff I encountered lacked proper knowledge of the vegan diet and I was left to figure things out on my own.
All in all this was a learning experience and I'm glad I believed in myself to follow through even with some major obstacles along the way.

Joining this program was the best idea I have ever had. The Work outs are fun and constantly changing, the trainers are smart and know exactly how to help you, and the meal plans are super easy to follow. I went to the south location on Valencia and David, Hector, and Jorge are fantastic. They are very encouraging and knew the answers to pretty much every stupid question I had. By far one of the best gyms I’ve gone to. I just completed my 6 week challenge and lost 6.7% body fat! They provide a meal plan along with supplements (that you have to purchase yourself) that help better your chance of losing that weight as well as tone! It has been one of the best experiences joining the challenge because I have been pushed to better myself. The trainers are so involved and actually care about your progress. The workouts are intense but if you love a challenge then this is definitely for you.

This is a fantastic program! The trainers, Gus and Joseph, were awesome. They were really motivating but still let you work at your own pace. They were patient and took the time to show you the exercises and make sure you were using correct form. The workouts were tough but if you stick with them you will get great results. The eating plan was laid out step by step and you just need to follow it to a "T." FTDI!! I dropped 8.5% body fat during the 6 week program. I would not have believed it had I not actually done it! I do have issues with the check-in procedure, which is clunky and needlessly complicated, I feel. I just finished the 6 week challenge at the Harrison location and am so relieved. I ended up achieving my goal and lost 21.4 lbs, but it wasn’t pleasant. I couldn’t help but feel like “just a number” to the employees of the gym, who seemed more interested in socializing and choosing good workout songs rather than investing their attention on the people in their class.
The overall organization and communication of the employees was almost always questionable. You really had to dig and ask more than one person your question in a “scavenger hunt” to get the right answer. To me that seemed to stem from their lack of concern for their clients. They didn’t care enough to know all of the facts and to be helpful to us.
The food plan was VERY strict and got old after a few weeks. There is no way any of us can keep that up after the challenge. I started finding it hard to eat after a while simply because the same foods were starting to turn me off, especially fish week.
The gym hours were not very convenient for me. All the times that I needed, they were closed. Lunch break time, late in the evening and weekends after 12pm were all the times that I would need a gym to be open to assist with balancing life, work and kids. It was hard to adhere to the offered schedule for 6 weeks, I couldn’t keep it up long term. Nor could I keep up the cost of the supplements long term.

I entered into the six week challenge at Psychosomatic Transformation Center feeling scared and nervous, mostly due to my anxiousness surrounding my body. Upon the first work-out, I was able to truly see the care and passion the trainers, front desk staff, managers, and all other employees with PTC put into the gym and their members' lives. I never had an issue with poor customer service or negative attitudes. The whole crew knew me by name, even though I didn't speak up much, and truly cared to get to know me as a human, not a challenger. That care and passion carried throughout my entire experience. Specifically working with Karey, Darien, Paul, and Colin - aka the Dream Team at Grant, was a phenomenal experience. 10/10 would recommend to anyone considering enrolling in the challenge or just joining as a member.

I just completed a 6 week challenge at the Valencia location on 2/25, and it was the best decision I've made. All the trainers were great and they pushed us hard every workout from day 1 until the very end! Once you get a hang of the meal prepping and the limited diet it's really simple to follow. The workouts were great and I always was drenched in sweat by the end! I would highly recommend this gym and especially the challenge of your looking to make a lifestyle change!

I have been going to Psychosomatic Transformation Center for roughly 6 months now and I have completed 3 challenges. The first 2 I did back starting in May and lost about 40lbs, and this last challenge just finished and I lost 22.9lbs. Psyco has been a great tool for me lose weight, stay motivated, and simply workout with other motivated and encouraging people. The workouts are tough, but doing them in a class and with a great trainer really help motivate you to push you harder. The challenges are tough, and sticking to the diet is even harder, but I'd highly recommend psychosomatic to anyone looking to change their lifestyles.

I completed the 6 week challenge and i am very happy with my results. The program and gym provide you with a very structured plan and a lot of guidance. It’s a great way to kickstart you back onto the right track. My only issue with the gym was that they weren’t as transparent about what “rolling in” your challenge cost into a membership looks like when you sign up. You get a discounted rate off a monthly membership, which is a 12 month commitment and more money out of your pocket. I still stuck with the gym because I did lose the 20lbs and I love the classes and the trainers.

Just completed my first 6-week challenge and overall it was a great experience. It was definitely a lot of hard work but it paid off and I'm down 24.8 lbs. The staff is great and the trainers will continually push you to work your hardest each class. My only real complaint is that the nutrition plan is so restrictive that if you're picky at all your options are super limited and the meal plan gets old quickly. But, if you can push through for six weeks, it works!

I decided to take this challenge and I am so thankful to her and also to Psychosomatic Transformation Center. I have done many different workouts and diets and was successful, but after it was done I slowly went back to my old habits. This is not a diet, but instead a life style change. I'm in my 50's and have a 2 1/2 year old grandson whom I want to keep up with. I have established good eating habits and look forward to the workouts. This is unlike going to a big intimidating gym that doesn't follow up with you if you haven't been in a while, but will still take your money. UPDATE 121217... I've been with Psychosomatic for 18 months now and I'm just as happy today as I was when I wrote the original review. After my first challenge I joined as a 3 day a week member and then about 9 months in I up'd my membership to unlimited. I know sometimes that gyms and memberships can be all about the numbers.. 6 weeks.. 20lbs... % body fat and for some that is what they want and strive for. With the help of the trainers, location directors, front desk staff and fellow members I was able to maintain the weight I lost within a 5lb sliding scale which I was very happy with. I'm someone who loves being curvy and soft but needed to be healthier as I grow older. Due to life I put on a few more pounds and so I decided to go through an Alumni challenge. A reset if you will. I never lost the support nor felt like I'd failed. This gym is more then a gym....it's a support system, it's friends and family. I've been lucky to meet cultivate some really great friendships that not only support me in the gym but outside of it as well.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I'm going to be honest I ultimately made the decision to go through with the Psychosomatic challenge after a major let down and was very emotional. It was the best decision that I could have ever made! I've always been a firm believer that you can't judge a persons health by their weight and I still believe that. I personally reached a point in my life (age, stressful job etc) that while I love the skin I'm in I no longer felt healthy. After 6 weeks with psychosomatic fitness, and I won't lie they weren't easy weeks, I finally am starting to feel a little like my old self. The trainers are amazing as they encourage and push you though the workouts assisting with modifications when needed. Having a way to ask questions though out the day and knowing that you will get an answer whether it's from a staff member or even someone who's been where you are. A provided meal plan that supports clean and healthy eating. The support is fantastic as you make new friends who are on a journey of their own for their own reasons ultimately you all want the same thing.....to succeed! So if you are like me and need that initial push to get you started and keep you going or you are just looking for a place that is personable and encouraging Psychosomatic is for you.

Just completed the 6 week 6% body fat challenge over at Psychosomatic Transformation Center Tucson East and I am extremely happy with my results. This program went beyond my expectations and I’m still surprised by how much progress I’ve made in just 6 weeks! I signed up for this program mainly because I wanted to challenge myself and see how much I could actually accomplish and this challenge has definitely shown me just that if not more. At the end of the 6 weeks, I managed to lose 18 lbs and am down 10.4% body fat! This program was definitely not easy but I’ve gained so much strength both mentally and physically because of it! I saw the Psychosomatic Transformation ad pop up on my Facebook feed a couple of times and started looking into what the program was. I talked to a girl that actually followed the program and it worked. After being sick and tired of getting no where and trying to do things my way and being unsuccessful I signed up for the October challenge. I was very nervous and didn't want to go after signing up. The first two weeks were tough mentally and physically. The diet is strict. After a couple of weeks I started seeing some results which kept me going. Everyone is very motivating and helpful-there are people all ages and sizes. I lost 21lbs and haven't felt this good in many years. I have noticed a that I am getting stronger and can do things during the workouts that I thought I never would be able to do. Everyone has noticed and commented that I look great! I just completed my first challenge that started on October 29th, and ended on December 10th with 21 pounds lost. Let me say I am extremely proud of myself because there were times, especially around Thanksgiving, that I thought I wasn't going to make it. Yes, there is a deposit you have to pay, but with my health goals in mind and the ACCOUNTABILITY deposit looming over my head, I felt motivated to keep pushing because I wanted that 20 lbs to be melted away AND I wanted that deposit back. Even if you do not meet your goal, your deposit rolls into a membership to keep working on your weight loss, strengthening, training, or whatever health goals you may have. So YOU are still receiving the benefit of your deposit. Before the challenge, I had been spending money trying to replace my wardrobe because my clothes no longer fit. Instead, I decided I could use the clothes and eating out money for a deposit on my journey to a healthier lifestyle. Not included in the deposit are the supplements that help with the program. I was skeptical at first, but for the items that I did use (BCAAs in Watermelon Flavor, Whey Protein, Protein flavoring in Chocolate, Strawberry, and Cookies and Cream, Fat Burner, and Lean Nights), I can say that they worked. I liked that the protein was plain and that you added the flavors yourself because then you did not have to commit to one flavor the entire program. In addition, the flavoring could be added to plain yogurts, oatmeal, and other items to give them a guilt-free flavor boost. The High Intensity workouts are fun and only 45 minutes long, which is something that can easily fit into your schedule. The meal plan is manageable, but it is a commitment. Say goodbye to fast food, and say Hello to meal prepping! This program was tough in that it tested my willpower, but IT IS DOABLE! If you follow the program instructions, ask questions to the staff (which is really easy with the Facebook group), and work hard, I feel there is no reason you should not meet your goal! And if for some reason you don't, you get to keep working on it with a group of great people!! Life post-challenge, the team offers programs like the Muffin Top Challenge, StrongHer, Private Training, and more to continue providing me support in my health goals aside from just weight loss. To get your deposit back, you need to meet your 20 lb weight loss goal; at the beginning of the 5th week, not be more than 10 lbs away from losing 20 lbs to avoid unhealthy weight loss techniques; change your profile picture to the challenge logo for the duration of the program; workout 30 out of 42 days of the 6 weeks; post a "non-scale victory" and check-in on FB each day you workout; the last 10 days you workout, you share the promotional video of the program challenge and check in at the gym; complete the survey; write a review. These are the conditions that are shared with you prior to joining the program, so you should not feel "blindsided" by the requirements. It is not a scam, but it is up to you to decide if you will follow through.

I just completed my 6 wks 20 lbs challenge with Psychosomatic Transformation Center and succeeded. I can highly recommend this program to anyone who is desperate and need radical change in weight loss snd/or life style. It isn't an easy program to be in, but it's totally worth it. The staff and trainers are really encouraging and strive to help the participants in any way. I particularly liked the way how the exercises were put together, focusing on certain body parts each day. The program is unique in the way that you often work in a team of 2 or 3, which definitely helping you to stay responsible to do your part.
The meal plan is the hardest aspect of the challenge, but most likely your body will adjust in a week or so.
At this point I can't really tell how hard it is to maintain your weight loss, but I suppose it isn't easy.

They supplied a forum for all challengers to talk and discuss everyone's progress as well as a dietary plan for the full 6 weeks that really helped with the weight loss. The exorbitant prices of their supps and the programs heavy reliance on them for success isn't feasible when you don't have an extra $300 to spend.

I can't say enough good things about Psychosomatic Transformation Center, their 6 week challenge, and their staff. I'm not even sure where to begin, but here goes - I started this program after starting many other programs and failing at them, usually because of an injury during the exercise program or because of my confusion on the nutrition side of the program. There is no room for error here, everything is very clear and spelled out. The trainers, directors, and all of the staff I have met this far have been phenomenal people, not simply phenomenal fitness gurus or instructors, but people. They get it. They get life. But they also help motivate you to FTDI. Every single trainer/instructor took time to help me modify for my many injuries and weaknesses. I have a rare nuerologica condition (CRPS) and arthritis in both knees, all of this following an injury and intensive knee surgery a few years ago. It is incredibly hard for me to gain muscle tone in my legs due to both of those, but primarily because of the CRPS. They've worked tirelessly with me to get me healthier and stronger. I feel stronger and better every single day, every single step, every single rep. I would highly recommend this program, or any membership to psycho. I haven't quite made it to the end of my 6 weeks, but I'm so thrilled to be a part of this, oh and also, I've made it all this time injury-free because they are so knowledgeable and helpful and helping me take care of myself. I set my goal to lose 6% body fat, remained faithful to my workouts and 98% compliant to the FTDI meal plan. I gained a great amount of renewed faith in myself, confidence, energy and stamina. Their goal at Psychosomatic is to help you achieve your end goal and trust me you will achieve it if you Follow The Damn Instructions!!! They provide you with a meal plan and trainers to help achieve your goals, you simply have to help yourself by sticking to the meal plan and showing up to exercise at least five times a week. There are quite a few locations around town and flexible hours throughout the day to get your daily workout done. Being a psychosomatic member allows you to attend any location during the challenge. My location was the South Tucson location on Valencia. I absolutely love all the staff there. The staff at this location are great at quickly answering any questions you may have as accurately as possible. And don't get me started on the trainers, they are phenomenal. If you are having any doubts, take my word for it. I too was skeptical, but I am now -6% body fat and 8.2 lbs lighter.

I signed up to do the challenge about a year ago, and when the time came I chickened out. I'm so glad that a friend talked me into actually giving it a try. At first the challenge is incredibly intimidating, and just the thought of having to do the intense workouts and following the strict meal plan made me very anxious. But after the first week of meal prep, the trainers easing you into the workouts, and the amazing support of fellow challengers and trainers on the Facebook page, the challenge quickly became routine and slightly addicting! This is not to say it is easy, because it is not! It was the most difficult thing I have ever done but also the most rewarding! I also want to give a shout out to Gus who doesn't let you slack in your workouts, and always keeps you accountable. Also to Steven, who send encouraging texts and makes sure to check in with each person day in and day out!
Overall I lost 26lbs and feel stronger than I have in a long time! Also my view on food has totally changed!! Today at the grocery store I found myself walking by the processed foods and putting back meats that were too high in fat and calories.

Psychosomatic transformation center is the first place where I've actually lost some weight. I've tried it all and like they say...there is no secret. You need to do two things to lose weight. Diet and exercise. The motivation you get there will make the exercise the easy part. The though part...especially for me..the diet!! If you follow the dam instructions(FTDI) the weight and fat will melt off. If u cheat a little it will still come off just slower. The key DON'T GIVE UP!! Keep going and you'll get there. Going into this 6% body fat in 6 weeks challenge I didn't believe I would lose any weight or body fat at that. I felt defeated before starting!! After taking the advice of taking a day one picture and taking a picture every week and seeing the change... my motivation turned all the way on!! I followed the meal plan, I went to the workouts 6 days a week and I pushed my self as hard as possible, I kept up with my water, I lost 15.8lbs and 8.9% body fat. The trainers Paul, Darrian, and Bryce were awesome. When they caught me making something look easy they would add weight lol. They made me feel comfortable, they knew who I was and when ever I went to any of them with happy news they were happy. I recently finished my 6 week challenge and couldn't be happier with my experience. Going in to my challenge I felt a little nervous about if I actually had 20lbs that I could lose in a 6 week time period but I stuck to it and ended up being pleasantly surprised to lose 23 lbs. The workouts throughout the 6 weeks are never the same so it always stays fresh and I never got bored doing the same thing over and over. At the same time, even as I became more fit, the workouts are set up where you are always pushing yourself to your own personal limits no matter your level of fitness, so I never left the gym not dripping in sweat and always felt like I got my ass kicked, in a good way. The trainers are great at pushing you to give more effort and are always there to keep you on track and answer any questions and give you guidance in and out of the gym to keep you on track. I would highly recommend the 6 week challenge to anyone looking to lose weight, get fit, and just feel better about themselves and their body. I would especially recommend it for people who were like me and wanted to get back in shape for some time but needed to commit to something extreme to make sure that I went out of my way to make the time to commit to a healthier lifestyle in and out of the gym.

I loved the workouts!! This was the best part of the program. The staff was great at motivating, encouraging, and was so full of energy. This was key especially with those who have to be there very early in the morning. I loved how no matter what your fitness level or ability, there were modifications to every exercise while pushing your limits at the same time. I joined in on the 6% body fat challenge, and was able to loose 6.8%. I feel so much better, with more energy, and am happy with my results! I would recommend this program for many who want to have the accountability, and get yourself starting the process.
I am giving this a 4 out of 5 star basically because I feel that there could be nutrition counseling along the way in the program that would better prepare people for how to continue reaching for their goals or maintaining their weight and new way of fitness. Just restricting your food intake or what you eat without following it with "normal" life scenarios, one will most likely go back to their previous way of living and gain the weight back.

I'm in my mid-50's and have literally tried every workout place in Tucson at least once. Some worked for a while, others I grew tired of quickly because I didn't like the gym or atmosphere. I had heard of Psychosomatic from some friends and secretly went to one of their orientations. Sadly I walked out for two reasons, 1) it was a little expensive and 2) could I even do anything this intense or better yet, stick with it? Well after a few months and seeing my scale reaching for the skies (and not in a good weigh... :o) ), I decided to give it another shot so I filled out the application and sat through the orientation once again. This time I seriously pondered while Amanda was talking and something in my head clicked and said "you have to do this Sheri, you have to give it a try". Some friends of mine did and exceeded. So I signed the bottom line and went to my first class that following Sunday and have never looked back. I love the atmosphere and the trainers; Gus and Britany, are wonderful, helpful, and understand that I have issues with my knees, okay other issues too, like jumping, etc., but they are willing to help and modify as required. I lost 24 lbs in the first challenge and have now rolled over into my 2nd challenge. I plan to lose another 20 lbs and enter a 3rd challenge.....it's that addicting. I love the food plan, although it did take a while to adjust my eating habits, but now I know I can't eat a huge bowl of oatmeal, yogurt or whatever it may be. PTC teaches you to eat right and the correct portion control. I'm never hungry and sometimes too full to eat certain meals. I did the Psychosomatic Transformation Challenge (body fat %) in June and Grant was my home gym. For me the food prepping was one of the most challenging things, because you will start to get bored with the foods you're allowed to eat, but I did learn that there are ways to get creative with the list. It’s super important to remind yourself that you are fueling your body to be successful in completing this challenge! Also if the food isn’t on the list, then don’t ask to eat it! FTDI, FTDI, FTDI!! It’s not on there for a damn reason! Just trust the process!!
Honestly, the trainers were all AMAZING and very supportive. I LOVED the workouts the most. I never got bored. The trainers encourage you to just keep pushing yourself to the limit. I felt so pumped after every workout, every time! I was miserable and sore during the first week--Also get the BCAA's! After the first week you will start to look forward to going to go work out with your fit fam. I had in my mind i could do this. Although I still lost at the end of week four, I was a little bummed as it was not at my average so far... Staying positive is the key, along with staying strong, knowing it was a lifestyle change for me. I had not worked out for awhile and was missing it. My loss of 22.2 lbs during my 6 week challenge is an excellent kick start for me. I just completed the 6 week 20 lb weight loss challenge. This program was not what I expected. It went far beyond my expectations. I went into the program expecting a tough regimented program with a strict diet and a lot of fine print. What I got was a fun and challenging daily workout that kept me engaged and a staff that went out of there way to support me and my class mated. The diet was tough but I found a lot of support and food ideas from the social media network and groups through PTC. I actually began to enjoy cooking. The biggest take away from the experience was the camaraderie between classmates. They really supported my efforts and I have made some good friends through the experience. How they balance the large number of participants with making you feel like it's personal training I'm still trying to figure out, but they do it in shining fashion. I can't tell you how much I improved over the 6 week program. It was easier to stay on track knowing that everyone around you is doing the same thing. Thanks again, Paul and Bryce. I learned that food prepping/planning and scheduled workouts work. I thought that meal planning would be an obstacle, but I was able to do it. I hope I can continue.

This place is amazing! I was scared to join at first, like I had anxiety just going in and talking to the director about joining the challenge. I don't regret taking that step towards a healthy me! I have more confidence than I have ever have and I feel like I am becoming the person I was supposed to be! The trainers and managers are all amazing and they are really there to help you succeed! My 6 week challenge experience was great. The trainers were great Paul, Bryce and Darrian all brought something different to the table but encouraged me to push further than I thought I could! I worked out quite a bit before this challenge The food plan was no joke! This is always an area I struggled in so I was determined to reach that 20lb goal and I did! My diet was non existent this challenge has taught me that what you eat matters. I learned how to meal prep and portion control. I stayed dedicated to it the entire time. I sat at many BBQ with my prepped meal and water. It can be done. This program is for people who want to make a life changes and develop healthy habits.
I am one of the ones who only opted for 1 challenge so I could get my money back after the challenge. I will make another post later to let anyone know of the return process is actually pretty easy or not.

Never thought I could do the things that I ended up being able to do after successfully completing the 6 week program. Being overweight and having serious back pain kept me from so many things. I would absolutely recommend this gym to everyone!!! The 6 week Challenge is the hardest and most satisfying thing you can do for yourself. The trainers (Bryce, Darien and Paul) are all motivational and supportive throughout the whole processes, along with the Fit Fam you make throughout the process. I had such an encouraging and positive experience at Psychosomatic Transformation Center, that I decided to join the gym and become an Elite member.

I just successfully completed the 6 week challenge this gym does, it was an awesome experience and I am so happy with it. I went into it feeling suspicious about if anyone really successfully completes I did, and so did most of the friends I made while doing it. The trainers are knowledgeable and friendly, and working out in the group was exactly the motivation I needed :) Being a single mother, it was also awesome that I could bring my 2 littles with me and everyone to include the trainers, was so kind and playful with them! I would not have been able to do this if it wasn't for that. 10/10 would do again.

This is a great gym if you are serious about losing weight! Psychosomatic was a life changer for me! I absolutely loved the workouts and the program forced me to believe in myself again! The 6 week challenge was difficult but worth the sweat and tears. Everyday the classes focused on different parts of the body and the workouts were never repeated. My husband and I both lost over 20lbs and we hope to take everything we learned and apply it for the rest of our lives. This program does not offer quick fixes so if that's what you're looking for you're in the wrong place! This program offers lessons on portion control, nutrition and fitness. The trainers were all wonderful. They modified movements if needed and were so supportive and motivated us everyday.

Pros:
--Definitely the best part of the program were the trainers. Our regulars were Paul and Bryce—both excellent—but we also saw Veronica, Colin, and Darien, who were great. Every single one had their own distinct personality and training style, but they all also had the same ability to be encouraging and supportive while acting a little bit drill-sergeanty. It was a good combination.
--The workouts were never easy, but always doable with modifications. I think even a person in excellent shape would be able to get something out of these workouts. We also got a little bit of trainer personalities, as they traded off weeks to design them.
--Our fellow worker-outers were not only fun to hang out with, but great motivators too. One moment I will never forget: A woman just did a weekly weigh-in, saw how much she lost, and started to tear up. That got us all going, and when the trainer revealed how much it was to the group (it was a lot!), we all cheered her. She was incredible.
--My husband and I did the program together, and we lost the weight we came to lose. We have a handle on our drinking, we’ve hit the reset on our diets, and we plan to keep working at it in the future. So Psycho’s program was a success for us.
Neutral:
--The meal plan. It is what it is. Not fun or diverse, but nourishing. It left me just a little bit hungry most of the day, though not uncomfortably so. Totally doable for the length of the program. The only time I went off-menu was when I had a work-related trip that kept me traveling for 8 days, otherwise I think I could have stuck it out. Toward the end, I would have given my kingdom for a piece of fruit, but it wasn’t allowed.
--While ultimately it was our choice to buy, expensive supplements are heavily encouraged to complete the program. We spent a small fortune on protein powder and other pills to help us reach the goal. Now that we've finished, we are trying to get what we need from whole food rather than supplements, as much as possible.
Cons:
--I think Psycho could work on its transparency. First, they draw you in with a “free” program, only to reveal at the information session that you need to shell out between $300-500 (depending on the special they are running at the time), and you will be eligible for a refund if you follow their requirements. It seemed a little shady.
--I kept thinking we would be emailed a copy of our signed agreement/contract. This is the document that details what is required of us to complete the program and potentially get our refund back. We never did get the copy, instead we had to rely on info posted in the Facebook group to ensure we were following the instructions.
--If you complete the program, you would have the choice of the refund or rolling the money into a membership fee. They did not state in the beginning that the membership is an annual contract, not month-to-month, which is the norm. (And it happens to be very expensive for a gym!)
--The worst part of the program was what was known as “fish week,” and the lead-up to the final weigh-in. This was where participants who had not lost 14 lbs by the end of week four were to eat fish and asparagus six times per day. On the last day, fasting and laxatives promoted by the program. I understand that Psycho did want us to reach our goal, and of course they want to keep up their success rate. But this rapid weight loss was just for the scale, not for any justifiable short- or long-term health reasons. I wonder if 20 lbs in 6 weeks—while obviously possible for hundreds of people—is even a healthy premise to begin with.
--The information we received depended on the trainer answering the question. On one supplement, the pill bottle had its own dosage instructions, the info packet said something else, and a Facebook thread something else. It did not inspire confidence to follow a process very carefully when the instructions could change daily. I think if the information is standardized better, that would be great.
While there are areas for improvement, overall Psycho was a positive experience for me.

I thoroughly enjoyed the program for several reasons.
1. Anyone can do it as long as they are willing to follow instruction and put the effort in.
2. Flexible workout schedule with multiple locations to choose from.
3. Each day and each workout for the most part is different; you get a full body workout, nothing is missed.
4. Instructors at East location are pretty cool, knowledgeable, and laid back.
The only suggestions for improvment I have is that the requirements for refund are vauge (specifically Facebook posts and etc.), supply the customer with the contract we signed, do check-ins with people individually.

The trainers (Bryce, Paul and Darien) were so motivational throughout the whole process and were so supportive. The family that you find at Psychosomatic is one of the many reasons i love this place so much! 10/10 recommend.

I personally prefer PTC Harrison over Grant, but the exercises are the same at all locations and the trainers are always very friendly and helpful. Paul at Grant immediately noticed I was new to his location and introduced himself and asked if I needed any modifications, which was super nice. Gustavo at Harrison is my favorite trainer... very understanding of my current limitations, yet still calls me out when I need to be. I'm going to keep crushing it with PTC because they rock like nobody else anywhere!

This is a great team to work with if you are serious about getting fit and losing fat. The group classes are excellent to keep you motivated and on track. The East Side team is fantastic, the trainers and class participants are wonderful. Good tunes and the workouts change so you don't get bored. It's worth noting however, if you are not "all-in," this may not be the right fit for you. These programs are for those truly looking for a lifestyle change, for those who are sick and tired of being sick and tired and are willing to put in the work and dedication to change their lives. However, if you really are willing to go for it and ready for a change from the status quo, this team will work with you to succeed. Modifications, advice, pep talks, when you are ready, the team will be there and ready to help.

I am so glad I finally decided to sign up, I was so tired of trying numerous of weight loss products and not seeing any change instead of losing weight I kept gaining. After my 1st week With psychosomatic i started seeing drastic changes in my body and that motivated me even more. I love to push myself so I enjoyed the workouts, the food was ok it helped me get more creative with limited options. Meal prepping was the key to success, it's a long process but so worth it when it's time to eat and you have everything cooked. This is not your typical gym where you feel that everybody else is watching, here we all work together sometimes in teams or individually, but the best part is that we all modivate eachother and the trainers are so friendly and push you to do your best. The only thing I regret about this challenge is that I didn't do it sooner. I will forever be grateful for this opportunity.

This program is fantastic for anyone who needs regular accountability in making a diet and exercise based weight change or is looking for a high intensity interval workout system that doesn't promote injury if pushed consistently to a high level of performance. The trainers are great and the workouts fit easily into most schedules.
I am a competitive endurance athlete and a martial arts instructor, in addition to my occupation as an ambulatory equine veterinarian; Psychosomatic was minimally disruptive of my schedule and I was able to maintain roughly 60% of my regular training level outside of the prescribed workouts.
The few things that make me rate a 4/5 are having a contract based social media marketing requirement and some of the final challenge week instructions that leave people in a dehydrated and food fatigued state that trades a few extra pounds off the scale for what is likely a tendency to revert back to old comfort foods during the refueling period following the final weigh in. The rest of the challenge teaches people moderation and healthy choices, but it's likely that many of those internal gains are lost by the willpower requirements of the final week. This factor is likely why there is much more success in keeping the weight off for those who commit to a membership following the challenge.

Came into this challenge not only to lose the 20 pounds but to learn what a meal-planning lifestyle looked like, what workouts (other than running) were all about and to address some weaknesses in my body that are holding me back. Psychosomatic did all of that for me and more! I really loved the trainers - they pushed us and we had some serious challenges, but they also corrected our form when needed and kept us pumped up the whole time. They make all the difference! I love the group classes, its hard to motivate myself to exercise. Everone is at a different fitness level, ages, and body shape. But the music is loud and we all pull together and do our best. It doesnt take long before your finding you can do more, push harder, longer, without getting as tired. Its a great feeling to see your hard work pay off in only 6 weeks!

I recently finished my 6 week challenge doing the 6% body fat loss. For those who do not have 20 pounds to lose you have the option of doing the body fat loss challenge, which is great because many of us might want not want to look thin or lose weight, but simply to be healthy. I have IBS, but after joining this challenge and doing all the workouts I became less bloated and less constipated. It is called a challenge for a reason, so it will be a little hard, but it is a matter of understanding and trusting the process. Psychosomatic is not a place that is filled with treadmills and a whole bunch of machines, it is a place that focuses on helping you reach your goals, has awesome personal training, H.I.I.T, clean eating, and different workouts each day; so if you want fast results this is the place to be! You won't regret it.
