Where do I start. This was such a wonderful experience. My friends and I live outside of the Arizona area so there was a lot of corresponding with Ms Dawn prior to our event. Although i didnt get to meet her, Ms Dawn is amazing!!! She understoond what we were trying to do and her response time was amazing. She helped to make this process super easy and effortless for us. The instructor Aaliyah was absolutely amazing! We had a wonderul time. She was patient with us and went above and beyond to allow us to have a great time. The studio was really nice, clean, and had ample room for our private class. They allowed us to send over our Playlist, and Aaliyah made helpful suggestions on songs to go with our routine. She is super encouraging and was our biggest hype man especially when we felt like we couldnt do something. This class was an excellent addition to our retreat!!! I wish I could rate it with more stars. Definitely 10/10!

Okay, literally the most exciting thing I did for my bachelorette trip!! Sadie was lovely and so fun!! She taught so well and made us feel so comfortable from the start! Not only did she spend time teaching us what and how to do specific moves but then she created a fun routine for us to put it all together! Attended a private class for a birthday party. Annmarie was amazing. We were pretty much all beginners and she did such a good job slowly explaining all the moves. I highly recommend renting the heels. We had a group of 16 and they had heels for everyone! Very clean studio. I plan on going back for my birthday too!

great studio with great instructors. they’re all amazing, but ann marie is my favorite — not only is she a great teacher, she goes to such extra lengths to make sure there’s a great sense of community here!

other notes: i love the way the classes are structured (lots of beginner classes and all levels classes — even in the more advanced classes, beginners are met where they’re at and everyone has something fun to work on). they often offer good package deals for classes. LGBTQIA+ friendly :)

I feel like a ✨woman✨ here. DEVINE FEMMINE energy. The most amazing, enriching, female envoirnment you could ever walk into. Its is the epitome of women empowering women. I've never experienced anything like it, I've even gone to other pole studios. This is my roman empire, this is my safe place, this is my favorite place to be. The owner, she has the most wholesome and warm laugh and energy. Two guys work at the studio (other than that you wont see any men...except for coed classes, if it specifically says so), and they only add to how safe i feel there. There are so many types of classes to choose from, and no matter what class and level you go to, they will always modify and provide different levels of difficutly. So dont be intimitated! I LOVEEEE this place. I dont write reviews, hardely ever, but this place...could not recommend it MORE. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!

Booked a class for a bachelorette party. We had a blast, our instructor was very sweet and helpful as well as the owner. They were set us and ready for us when we arrived, they helped take videos and pictures on our phone for us. They were very encouraging but not pushy. Wow, so much fun!!! Booking with Dawn was seamless. She was energetic, helpful, and kind thought out the process. We booked for a 1-hour class for a bachelorette party. When we arrived, the atmosphere was amazing. Dawn and Nicole (our instructor) were so excited about our class and made it so fun! Moves were great for all levels. Our group kept saying we wish we could have done it every day. Definitely recommend for a Bach party! Dawn was the ultimate hype woman taking photos and cheering our group on. So fun!

I just started coming to this studio recently and I have to say I really enjoy it! There is a good variety of classes that are accessible to all skill levels and interests. Whether you're interested in getting better in flow or tricks, they have classes to help you improve and have fun. They even have fitness classes that help improve your strength and flexibility which I really appreciate. The instructors are very welcoming and helpful, and I personally like the way the classes are structured. Its a little bit of a drive for me, but for what I learn here I think its worth it.

This studio itself was alright, clean with good services and resources available. Their beginner classes are not beginner, and they are definitely not size inclusive. I recommend familiarizing yourself with pole before taking a beginner class, or doing free pole beforehand.

I'm SO happy that I started taking classes at Purple Rain! I stepped wayyyy outside of my comfort zone by signing up for my first class - I was never good at dancing, had no rhythm to speak of, and wasn't in the best shape. But I was fresh out of a really hard breakup and looking for something that would help me feel sexy and empowered again. Purple Rain delivered and then some.
Every instructor (especially Chay!) is so great at teaching, patient, sweet, and talented. Dawn, the owner, is kind, professional, and excellent at communicating. They always make everyone feel welcome, no matter what. Every class is encouraging and fun. No judgement, no competition, just a group of ladies cheering each other on.
I never dreamed when I awkwardly danced in my first class that a year later I would be dancing multiple days a week and feel so strong, sexy, and confident in the studio.

Purple Rain is great if you’re just starting out with pole or if you have previous dance experience. As soon as you walk in you are treated like family! Mary’s sexy choreography class on Tuesday is my favorite; If you want to feel sexy and get a workout in, you don’t want to miss her class. She takes the time to break down the routine and offers modifications if needed. I always have so much fun in her class and recommend booking in advance, her class fills up fast!

I’ve only been going to Purple Rain for 4ish months, but I LOVE IT. I’m extremely shy and scared of new things and new people (sad, but true), and I was blown away by how inclusive, fun, friendly, and supportive every single teacher is. Mary is an excellent instructor, she’s careful and caring about her students. Cheryl is also an amazing instructor. After moving to PHX and leaving my original studio I tried every pole studio in the Phx metro area. All were great but Purple Rain was the most welcoming and fun. It’s a amazing environment of women supporting women. Every class has accomplishments, cheers, and claps. It’s a great place to be for a physical workout as well and a uplifting mental reset. I can’t imagine anyone having a bad experience, tricks are explained well and spotting as well as pads and technique advice is abundant. This is a wonderful environment to be a part of.

The building is actually right in a plaza so it may be a bit hard to spot. The parking lot was a bit small. (I don't recall seeing any parking behind the plaza... ) Come early before your class to make sure you get your spot.
What I did like though was the music they played. Very nice hip hop and pop music to really get your dance juices flowing! Loved their lighting as well as well as the fact that they had a lot of poles.
They did ensure social distancing and masks were required. Unfortunately due to 6 feet requirements, the instructor can not come to spot you. They do provide crash mats for when you do do the inverts.

Now, for the beginner class I took, it really isn't beginner. I think they had another class beforehand that was more suited for my level- Pole Kitten (?). If you are more of an actual beginner, do that one. In the beginner class, they were already doing inverts from a climb.

Instructor was awesome though. She is super strong and knows her moves. She was also able to modify the moves in the class and what I liked most is how she cheered everyone on and pushed you on.

I attended the pole Kitten Camp on Monday evening and I had so much fun! I had zero prior experience but Cheray explained how to do everything perfectly and I am so excited to come back and learn from her again!
I was not aware to bring heels to wear during class so I will have to remember them for next time.
PS I am covered in bruises that are the exact shape of the pole, I should have expected it because I bruise like a peach (the bruises are worth it the class is amazing) but this is something to keep in mind if you wanted to try it out yourself, injury is a possibility.

Guys this was my first time trying pole dancing and let me tell you I absolutely loved it. I did the beginner class and Cheryl the instructor made me feel so confident, I’d doubt a move I just tried but she cheered me on. I wore minimal clothing and not once did I feel like there were eyes on me for it, it was such a positive environment. And god damn did I feel sexy! I will definitely be doing this more often!

My dog has been very sick so I arrived to my 1st class 40 mins. late. They graciously switched me 2 the next class so that I could have a whole hour. The instructor Mary was awesome! She has excellent technique but she's also so encouraging. She makes u want 2 do your best because she's so passionate about what she's teaching. She's like a pole cheerleader which is how I m when I teach some1 a new trick. 1 thing I love is that they teach all levels 2gether so if u r a beginner u r pushed more than in some of the 2 easy schools I've visited & if u r more advanced u aren't held back. We took a choreography class to celebrate one of my daughter's friends birthdays and had so much fun! From the minute you walk in the door the staff makes you feel so welcome. There were many people in the class of all different ages, sizes and walks of life. Everyone is helpful and encouraging. The studio is also very clean! I highly recommend trying this alternative type of fitness - you will be shocked at how much of a workout it is. And of course, who doesn't want to embrace their inner Queen every now and then?
