Take a trip with me...

After months of research, in early January, I pulled the trigger on a very expensive spring rebounder to help with movement for my child with autism. They were eager to bounce until it started making noise, and there it sat. I couldn't bear to see my investment collect dust so I started bouncing to some short YouTube videos here and there to supplement my strength training routine. I would bounce once or twice a week and could see the potential but all the videos I tried fell flat. After weeks of trying different trainers and videos, by chance, I stumbled upon a Radical Rebounding video and knew I had found IT. I put down my weights and I bounced.

I am in my forties and for YEARS I had pushed my body so hard. I didn't see in the mirror what I wanted to see? I pushed harder. I felt that if I wasn't worn out and hurting that I didn't work hard enough and my time moving my body wasn't worth it. I have gone through seasons of intense running, intense lifting, yoga, dance classes, celebrity trainers and nothing quite compares to rebounding. I can work hard and push my boundaries but no longer at the expense of my body. And all in accordance to my physical and emotional needs in any given day.

In Rachel's classes you will experience a high energy cardio and strength workout. In three months of rebounding I see strength in my body that I have never seen in years of strength training. I have energy beyond what any cardio has given me. And, for the first time in forever (?) intensely moving my body doesn't sap my energy for the day or leave me sore and in pain like everything else I have ever done.

I need more stars! I just took my eighth grade class for a sesh with Rachel, and I cannot express enough gratitude. The level of instruction from beginning to end, meeting people where they were physically and emotionally and spiritually, was a MasterClass. Not only did we sweat and laugh, we dug in beyond a typical workout. More so, the education my students (and self) received through a melding of exercise physiology and exercise psychology was beautiful, catered to both adult and adolescent. I left energized, motivated, and in-tune with ME AND my class. If you’re a parent, take your kids. If you’re a teacher, get your class here. If you are a coach, this should be a necessary workout. If you breathe oxygen, duh, you should move that air with Radical Rebounding! Sincerely.

Radical Rebounding is THE BEST!!!!
I’ve been bouncing with the Radical crew for about 2 months and could write a book already about all the benefits I’ve experienced as a result. Rebounding keeps me going and keeps me healthy physically, mentally, and emotionally. The workouts are creative, intense (but modifiable to many levels), and very effective for the whole body.
This is really something so unique and special- I came into Radical expecting a fun workout, and got so much more than that. Radical Rebounding is not just a workout class- Rachel has created something that is all encompassing. It is health, fitness, well-being, community, support, love, therapy, vitality, passion, and it’s SO MUCH FUN!! I’m addicted to the bounce for life :)

I LOVE THIS CLASS
Honestly I’ve never experienced a more welcoming, encouraging and loving environment. No matter what you might think your skill level is, GIVE THIS A TRY, it’s honestly been so fun. I do this class before a full day of work and at first I was scared I would be tired or have dead legs for the rest of the week—-NOT THE CASE—YOU FEEL AMAZING AFTER A CLASS! Unlike an intrusive yoga session where the instructor might constantly critique your form, at Radical Rebounding it is all love and encouragement and it’s about taking it at your own pace and getting a great bounce! Super underrated place!! if you actually do the workouts as described, it's brutal. But very easy on your body. This is the only workout you need to do to build strength, flexibility, cardio, and coordination.

If you do it correct, you never have to change anything and you'll naturally become stronger and stronger, Without sacrificing flexibility or coordination.

Only the severely disabled should start somewhere below this.

Rachel is what makes rebounding a fun, engaging, and an uplifting experience.  When I first started rebounding with her, I was experiencing postpartum anxiety, had little energy, and bad posture.  I have now been rebounding with Rachel for almost two months and I can honestly say, that my postpartum anxiety has decreased significantly, my posture has improved, and I have energy!

But what has truly made a lasting impact on me is the energy she brings to her practice. The space she holds for you to be your authentic self, with encouragement and lack of judgment has been instrumental in moving towards the mental and physical well being that I seek.
