Coach Biggs is that "one in a million" coach. He genuinely cares about each client. His small group classes are focused on helping those over 40 gain their strength and mobility back. He is a knowledgeable trainer, not only on kettlebells, fitness, and technique, but also on nutrition. His focus is the client and helping each of us achieve our goals safely and effectively. Coach Robert invests the time to understand and shape his clients goals for training. He understood that I, as a 67 year young man who never lifted weights or other type of training, wanted to get in better shape and feel stronger...but not build muscle for mirror gazing. He created a program that works with (not around) my injuries, a program that varies somewhat each time to keep it interesting and adapt to me getting in better shape. I can definitely feel the results after 6 weeks with home 2X per week. I've combined this work with a weight loss program (eating less and smarter) and lots of daily walking. Robert cares about his clients long-term health. And that is what I seek as I age...the ability to stay mobile and do the things I've always done, i.e., keep old age issues locked outside!

I met Robert June 2024 and it was true blessing. Robert is hands down the best coach, mentor, and friend one could ever hope for in life. Before I met Robert I had worked in the medical field which took a huge toll on the body I also had 2 back surgeries and told my weight training days were behind me. Through his coaching not only am I training again I’m Thriving! I never worked with kettlebells before and he guides you through every step by making sure your form is perfect before moving on to the next conquest. I have built muscles now that support my spine and core that severely lessen my daily pain. His knowledge is infectious about proper nutrition and the importance of getting the right foods instead of restricting your calories. Since starting with Robert I have lost over 25lbs and replaced volumes of fat with muscles. If you ever want a coach who looks at the whole picture he’s your coach. He will never give up on you if you’re committed

After declining medication for osteoporosis, I spoke with my PCP about weight lifting. He told me that recent studies show that lifting heavier weights helped older women—I am 75 years young—so I joined the Remedy Kettlebell Club in April 2024 after speaking with Erin Biggs.
Robert Biggs is an excellent coach, and he has given me specialized exercises to help the left hip where bone loss is a concern. I am stronger, have better posture, and I’m walking without that left hip twinging.
A friend of mine from England was visiting me recently, and she enjoyed several classes with Robert. She put it well when she said that “he talks to you like a friend.” He is a professional with extensive knowledge, and explains how certain exercises help various muscles. I appreciate that he gives personal attention, and tailors a program to my needs.
Robert also does Online coaching, which is great, but I am able to attend in person. The classes are small, and they are a lot of fun!
Whether in person or Online, Robert is an excellent coach for all adults, and he has the experience and ability to especially help us older adults.

I've been attending strength training classes led by Coach Briggs and I can confidently say that he is a truly fantastic instructor.

During Fall 2022, I experienced severe lower back and leg pain from sciatica from years of Crossfit and Oly Lifting.
My Orthopedic Surgeon advised me to stop lifting especially any squatting due to herniated discs in my lower spine. Ignored his advise and sought PT help for months with little improvement.  I was the heaviest I had been in decades and had little hope for regaining strength, moving naturally and pain-free or losing extra weight. During JUN'23, I started working with Coach Robert Biggs as I heard he specialized in athletes with back pain to rehab them back to health through s&c using KBs and odd implements.
After some weeks/months, he showed me how to strengthen my core to combat back pain.  Back was feeling better and HE GAVE ME HOPE AGAIN. His programming is some of the best I've ever seen.  Coach Biggs knows that mobility is and enabler to building real strength.   So, he starts and ends his workouts with mobility to either activate or recover the specific muscles, joints and tendons that we're focusing on for that workout.
Today, 18 months later, my back is PAIN-FREE. I no longer use pain medication or cremes or aids to deal with crippling back pain.  I don't even think about it as Coach Biggs has helped me build up my core and posterior chain such that I no longer worry about my back and am lifting heavier than ever with great form. I genuinely have Coach Robert Biggs to thank for my progress and improved strength!   10 outta 10 would recommend.

I was so tired of going to the typical, average gym that had the same old machines and workouts. When I found Remedy I was in terrible shape and had a lot of lingering injuries from not taking care of myself. Since joining Remedy, I have been able to be a lot more active with my kids and have a support team to lead a healthy lifestyle.
