I have crappy, painful knees and I have learned to do things I didn't think I could do. I'm much stronger and my balance is better. If anything hurts my knees, there is always an effective alternative that doesn't hurt. Love the staff.

My 14yo son does the Youth Training program. He’s a student athlete. The program has been helping grow physically and mentally stronger. The team is supportive and knowledgeable about what he needs for his sport. He’s always excited to go. The price point is perfect too. We use to pay $75/hr at another place, so he could only train once a week. Now he trains 3 times a week for the same price. I highly recommend Resilient Fitness especially for youth training.

For years I have struggled balancing fitness, a full time job and my business. After 3 weeks of training at Resilient Fitness I have already seen improvements in my strength and mobility. Resilient Fitness provides tremendous value by adding more time to my week because I don’t have time to research what I should be doing or going to a gym waiting for a piece of equipment to be free. I’m turned off by most gym scenes, as they can feel superficial, competitive, and generally intimidating. The folks at RF are super down-to-Earth , welcoming, and genuinely just want to help everyone feel strong and healthy. Jesus and the trainers at Resilient are some of the most knowledgeable and compassionate people I know. I have been working out here for 8 months now and am stronger than I have ever been. Unlike other gyms you are not pushed to diet or change how you look to fit a certain pre-ordained definition of “fitness”. Instead you are supported in your own goals and provided with guidance that honors and strengthens your own knowledge and intuition about your body and it’s needs. I have had no back pain since about three months into starting here (I came in with low back pain). The people are kind and the atmosphere is welcoming and focused on fun and positive drive not shame and pushing dangerously beyond limits. I love this place, i think you will too.

Initially my wife and I reached out to Resilient Fitness for one on one training for our son who has no knowledge of training/fitness. This week I was able to attend two sessions with my son and was very impressed with how knowledgeable and friendly the coaches/trainers are. Our son looks forward to his workout sessions! Thank you to Jesus and Rey for helping to get ready for the ACFT (Army Combat Fitness Test). One of the events for the ACFT is to perform a deadlift and I had no idea how to do this without getting hurt. Both Jesus and Rey worked with me for several weeks in preparation for the test. This weekend I was successful in lifting the 120 lbs. during the ACFT. I am very grateful. I will continue to train and utilize the helpful skills taught by Jesus and Rey. As I approach my one-year anniversary at Resilient Fitness and reflect on what I have gained (muscle and strength) and lost (60+ lbs.) over the past twelve months, I am most thankful for the confidence I have to get back to being able to do the things I love. Hiking with my husband and our dogs is one of my favorite activities and because of the strength and balance I have gained through my workouts with Jesus and Karina, I am much more confident to take on difficult trails and can thoroughly enjoy hikes again.

After 10 years of limping around on two bad knees, I finally reached the point where my knees were my limiting factor in continuing my strength building and they were hindering my enjoyment of day to day activities. Prior to my first knee replacement I researched the procedure and recovery. Everything I read told me that it would be three to six weeks to resume normal activity after surgery. Additionally, most patients use a walker post-surgery for two to three weeks and then graduate to a cane before being able to walk unassisted. I was advised that I would need to take four weeks off of work. I know that because of training at Resilient Fitness, I was walking unassisted five days after surgery, back at work 13 days after the surgery and released from physical therapy after five visits having met all the benchmarks that usually take twice as many appointments.

To top it all off, the atmosphere at Resilient Fitness is comfortable and welcoming. The trainers meet you where you are and work with you to attain your goals. This past year the investment I made in myself is unmeasurable in terms of quality of life. Thank you Jesus for your friendship and support.

I been weight training for a few years, never really had someone break down and critique my movements. I decided to take a chance and get some personals with Jesus Acuna. Within a few sessions and a few changes I already feel the difference in strength. I have many injuries, so for him to take the time and develop a program that fits ME has been a huge positive change. Also, it’s important to note he gives you his undivided attention. No phones, no one interrupting your session, no distraction. That was my main worry. Definitely get your money worth for that hour. He is humble in his knowledge but knows what he his doing. Letting his work do the talking. 💯 recommend for all levels and plan on continuing my program with Resilient Fitness

I have a strong aversion to gyms, dating back to high school, I guess. At 81, I had developed extremely poor posture, shortness of breath and lack of stamina. Having learned from the docs that these were not due to any particular pathology (heart and lungs ok, nothing seriously wrong with my muscular/skeletal body), I had to admit that only I could do anything about this. On the urgent recommendation of a friend, I went to Resilient Fitness and signed on for a series of personal training sessions with Jesús Acuña, the proprietor of Resilient. Found him to be extremely knowledgeable, easy to talk with and work with, and I am making what I feel is great progress. Jesús is very helpful, encouraging and "meets me where I am" on a given day, with individualized work that advances me toward my goals of fitness, strength, and confidence. Very happy I broke out of my resistance pattern and that I found Resilient Fitness!

Resilient is a great new wellness business that has something for everyone. I really enjoy the thoughtful programming that is adaptable and challenging. It's also portable if you can't make it to the gym location every day. Group classes are kept small and personal. I was never really able to stick with training until I started working with Jesus Acuna. He really listens, and meets everyone's individual needs - whether your in your 20's or 70's. He has a special gift for working with people that I've rarely encountered. This program is all about keeping you functional and strong, so you can keep doing everything you want to do in life. I can't give it enough stars!
