Sahuarita Gym offers personal training, small group training, powerlifting classes and online programming. I offer programs to help you peak for any powerlifting competitions you might have in the future. Small private gym with specialty bars, variety of gym equipment and nutrition coaching as well. Located in Green Valley and Sahuarita area.

I began taking Rec Center fitness classes in Green Valley in the fall of last year and was happy with them. The two classes used weights. Unfortunately both these classes were dropped and will no longer be offered in the future. Since I was just beginning to get some muscle tone, I wanted to continue a fitness program using weights. Several people recommended that I "go to Sahuarita Gym and ask for Crystal."
To my delight, my work with Crystal has made a difference in my health. My lipid test scores and my A1C scores both have moved into the normal range. According to my doctor this change is because I am working with weights.

Sahuarita Gym is the best place to be if you're older and want to keep up with your strength training as you age. Crystal, owner/trainer takes the time to evaluate you and insures that you are performing the lifts and exercises correctly. I attend a strength training class with other people. I restarted weight training after having stopped for 6 years due to knee replacement and hand surgeries. Chrystal put together an effective program for me, accounting for some physical limitations, and I have seen excellent results the past few months. I am feeling stronger and am regaining some of my old form. She is very knowledgeable, personable, and is truly interested in my physical improvement and well being. My son loves this gym. We went to an open house and he was sold. He is a teenager and it brought a light into his eyes. Chrystal is amazing with the kids and makes them comfortable and safe. We’ve had a great experience at Sahuarita Gym! My son is enrolled in the junior weightlifting program, and he absolutely loves it. It’s been amazing to see his confidence grow as he learns proper techniques and builds strength in a safe, supportive environment. My 10 year old son showed interest in working out while being a gym member at Sahuarita gym for some time now. So when I asked him if he wanted to join the junior powerlifting class, he was super excited. He has enjoyed working out with kids his age. Uriah and Max have absolutely loved going to powerlifting—it’s become one of the highlights of their week! They’ve learned so much and truly enjoy every class. My daughter started the teen classes a year ago. She was always very sensitive and afraid of physical exertion. Chrystal was able to start her exactly where she needed to but also push her enough to help her feel confident. A year later, my daughter is so excited about how strong she is. Her confidence is higher than ever. She’s excited to push herself and see what she’s capable of, in and out of the gym. She’s even competed now a couple of times and is training for her next one. Sahuarita gym and the training by Chrystal has made me more proficient in my job. I have participated in powerlifting competition with her and Gilbert coaching me through the whole thing and did pretty well for my first time. I attend small group training sessions with Chrystal. We are a group of seniors. Chrystal has helped us gain strength and confidence. She is the BEST and only trainer I would work with. She leads us thru the exercises making sure we are using the correct form. She always has a watchful eye on each one of us and assists us as needed. This is the place you want to go! If you are a powerlifter or a couch potato, you can learn good form AND get stronger here. Inclusive, nonjudgemental, always ready with a modification or a "Good Job". I wake up wanting to go to the gym and leave happy and feeling good about myself. The trainers are excellent, and the gym is well equipped and clean. If you dont go, you'll be sad.

Chrystal runs a fantastic gym! The strength training classes include stretches, warm-ups and then a focused group of exercises. Correct form and increasing weight as you train is encouraged. My daughter and I have been attending for a few months. Mostly me being on line. With the short time I’ve had with Coach Chrystal I have been able to hit my weight lifting goals. Fixing form and a program that suited me has helped tremendously. My 11 year daughter absolutely loves it and we are happy we found this place. There is nothing but great things to say about this gym! I found this little gem while figuring out how to transition from personal training elsewhere. Chrystal has been my personal trainer for over four years and keeps my arthritic body flexible, helps me strengthen my muscles and gives me valuable advice about diet and everyday issues with my chronic lower back pain.

I would not go anywhere else! I get a private lesson once a week. I’m older and have had MANY joints replaced. I don’t walk well and my balance is not well. The program Chrystal set up for me is perfect. She works on my balance, strength and overall health. The gym is equipped with everything for each persons need. Just had my annual appointment with my endocrinologist! Every year she would “strongly” nudge me about my weight! I was determined to make a difference before this year’s appointment!
