Save your money and join a different club.

If you’re looking for nonexistent customer service disguised in a pretty package, you’ve found it. I’ve been trying to get a straight answer for months, through emails and conversations, with zero results. The food is strictly average, and their pickleball courts are a disgrace—filthy and completely unmaintained -- see photo. The final insult? They ban you from returning for an entire year after you quit. This place is not worth the price of admission.

This is my home course. Since joining this club there have been several improvements made to the course. The fitness club is well outfitted. The club offers a wide selection of fitness classes, has a great pool and fun watersides. This is a very family friendly club with lots of activities.

I live in Seville, sold a handful of properties in Seville and love Seville amenities, the people and the STAFF. My lifeguard dudes and sports club people are amazing. Shout out to treating my family with respect and love with safety in mind. I never worry as a parent with tons of kids. Slides and obstacle course is awesome…great gym….Carson, zeek, cam, Mitch, and Eiledon you guys are so awesome. 🤙

Very very concerned about the horrible Unsafe practices and lack of responsibility the lifeguards display at the pools.

For the third weekend in a row we witnessed several of the male lifeguards in the pool (where the slides end at) completely unfocused, not watching the slides and they were playing with about six or seven young boys and launching the boys 5 or 6 ft up in the air and splashing the little boys down right in front of where other kids were coming down the slide into the pool. For 15 minutes I sat there and watched and not one lifeguard looked up towards the slides they continue to goof around and play with the kids and throw them up in the air.

In addition, I'm very concerned about someone getting impaled and dying one day by one of the many cheap, flimsy and unsecured pool umbrellas. Every time there's even a light breeze all the umbrellas fall over and some of them even start to blow... if a huge wind gust came up and one of those umbrellas blew off the unsecured lightweight Mount they're sitting in... the end of the umbrella could easily impale and kill someone instantly. I definitely think someone needs to look into the safety procedures at the pools before there's a dead kid

The gym and restaurant are full of mold. You can smell it in the carpet. Very old equipment that is poorly maintained. I joined four months ago. And went one time. Will not go back. The staff is rude. And they are sticking it to me and making me pay every month regardless of the fact that I refuse to work out there and breathe mold in the entire time. Worst decision Joining the club without looking at it in person. Don’t waste your money or your time.

While attending the recent LPGA Ford Championship at this course I went to purchase a Seville cap that was clearly marked $32 in bold black font. At checkout I was told it was $45. The employee pointed out the fine print where the other price was listed on a new sticker that was stuck on the tag later. I inquired why the difference and was told the club’s merchandise was all marked up for the golf tournament. I asked why and was told the prices were marked up to take into consideration the time it took to mark up the prices. Does this make any sense? I call it plain old price gouging to stick it to the tournament spectators. This certainly does not reflect well on this facility. We will never return. Neither should the LPGA.

Social member for one year. Biggest complaint is the membership office. We've decided not to continue our membership, and are being ghosted by John and Danielle. Four messages with no response. I have completed all the documentation to cancel the membership and am still being charged.

Have heard from other members that the management and operation of the Club is not what it used to be.

We have used the fitness facility and the restaurant. The fitness facility is well equipped but rather dirty. The floors and equipment are not kept clean. The restaurant is ok, but between the overly casual atmosphere and the loud, swearing crowds that gather at the bar, we generally prefer to pick one of the numerous restaurants in the area.

If you do not live adjacent to the club, and would actually have to drive, I'd recommend looking at others in the area. Once they hook you here, there's no more support.

Very nice course with a nice clubhouse. It is old citrus groves and dairy land. So in the spring it has great scent of flowering citrus. The vegetation on the course is limited since it was not natural desert. So not target golf, wide open views and grass. If you miss you should find your ball on some 1/4 minus pretty easy. I was there for the lpga tournament, so just observations, didn't get to play 😉

I recently had a rather disappointing experience with the customer service at the Seville Community ClubHouse, especially since we are new residents in the neighborhood and were seriously considering becoming members.

Upon our multiple visits to the clubhouse, my fiancé, brother, and I had genuinely grown fond of the place and were interested in joining the Golf Club, as well as exploring other sports memberships.

However, our excitement took a dip when we met a representative named Eden/Aiden during one afternoon visit. From the get-go, our interaction felt unwelcoming. When we expressed our desire to get membership information, we were met with what seemed like reluctance and were told that no tours were available that day and were asked to come back later. While she did attempt to contact the director to accommodate us, that effort ended in vain.

What struck me as even more odd was when I inquired about the membership prices; Eden/Aiden started googling the answer right in front of us. Instead of giving us a feel of the ClubHouse's offerings, we were questioned about where we lived. Even after explaining that we are new residents in the Seville community, she abruptly stated that the clubhouse wasn't a part of the neighborhood, and we would need to purchase a membership. While we were already aware of this, her demeanor was off-putting, to say the least.

We were hoping for a warm introduction to what the clubhouse and the community had to offer, but left feeling disheartened. Given this initial interaction, it's hard to imagine returning in the future. Customer service plays a significant role in our decisions, and sadly, this experience missed the mark.

Only good news about Seville is its golf course and members. Restaurant is overpriced and mediocre food, top management turnover is atrocious.

I have been a member since 2015 and have seen fourth GM come on board.

Board of directors are powerless and out of frustration, last year the entire board resigned. I have brought my suggestions/complaints to numerous department heads and nothing gets done.

I wonder, where lies the problem? Perhaps the managers overlooking Seville's operation at the head quarters level? Don't the corporate members care about such high turnover?

It's a wonderful place to be but hurts me to see how poorly the entire club is managed. I would like to ask questions to whoever is managing this place to have a face to face meeting and answer some of my frustration.

I did not like when the rate hike (24% and 16%) was imposed on members. Reason? So, the club can reduce total golf membership. I have never heard of such lame excuse in my entire careers from my superiors.

So, why am I still a member? I like golf and the way grounds keepers maintain it. Health club facility staff is also very good.

We held our wedding at Seville, and we loved it! It is a beautiful venue with great views all around. The lawn was the perfect spot for our ceremony, and we held our reception inside- the room is large enough for a big event, and felt very comfortable for our smaller wedding with 40 guests. The seating was all comfortable, the food and service were great, and the event team was fantastic across the board.

Seville is the only option for South East Valley residents to get an all inclusive country club experience. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating and the amenities for sports are excellent. It is especially good for families with young children of varying ages and the other members are fairly social if you just say “hello”.

I was able to golf here with a friend as guests because he is getting married here. I cannot say enough good things about the course and people who work here. The course is absolutely beautiful and in such great condition (huge difference than the courses I am used to in Illinois). We played all 18 holes and had a blast. The food we got from the club house was amazing. The employees were so kind and helpful with everything we needed. If I lived in AZ I would become a member without a doubt.

Seville Golf and Country Club is a fantastic facility. It's everything a member could ask for. The golf course offers five different sets of tees to play from for all skill levels. Brian does a tremendous amount of work keeping the course in great condition. The fitness center has just been remodeled and provides programs for all individuals. The club is very family friendly and provides a variety of activities for all ages.

Picked up a membership packet and did a walk through. The club looked very nice. When we asked about playing the course the membership director said that was not allowed unless you're a member. You expect a $10,000 initiation fee and $900 a month for dues without the option of playing the course. That's not a professional way to treat a potential member. Would not recommend this club to anyone.
