SVDC is the BEST dance studio in Sierra Vista. The staff pours into their students and cares about them as people AND dancers. Ms. Tanya, Ms. Devanee, and Ms. Polly are wonderful owners who always have a listening ear. Ms. Ashley B is my daughter’s favorite teacher and she is so kind, but has expectations for the students that keep them on their toes and growing. My daughter loves being a part of the company team and the studio has become her second home. Keep up the great work SVDC!

My girls have danced with Sierra Vista Dance Company for over 15 years, (since they were 2). It has been an amazing journey watching them do something that they love while recieving so much support. The studio has given them confidence and a higher self esteem throughout their journeys! just in the last 9 years my oldest has gone to 20 regional competitions, 2 national competition, and countless master classes with talented and well known choreographers. If you want life changing opportunities I suggest Sierra Vista Dance Company.

Since I was 2 1/5 it has been a life changing experience; I've met new people, made new friends, found something that I love doing as well as finding something that I can express myself in. I know for a fact the Sierra Vista Dance company cares about there students wether it’s during a dance competition, dance event or everyday basis. They care about the wellbeing, physical, and mental health of there students! They think of them day and night. I’ve experienced the nutcracker, recitals and all competitions with them, they have the most caring staff that try so hard to make sure everyone in the company is involved, seen and loved! Couldn’t have chosen a better dance company to be involved with. I am so thankful for the wonderful atmosphere and energy the coaches give off.

Came to a competition and we were in the dressing room to change while we have 6 dances when we were in there first and the like 2-4 people come in and started kicking our stuff out of the way and cussing and everything and was dragging our bag out of the room. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DANCE COMPANY!!

We were trying to leave the recital After my daughter’s part was over and the owner of this company was getting all pissed off. We even explained how we had an appointment and needed to get there as soon as possible. Don’t go here if you want a fun supporting studio.

Staff at this company were quite rude to my friend, going as far as to shame and exclude children from participation. These people lack compassion and understanding, and should not be interacting with children. Also apperently willing to detain people against their will according to their reply below, which is illegal in most states last time I checked.

Owner seems to have difficulty understanding families can have obligations other than her business; once a dancer is finished with their part of a recital, they should be able to leave without the owner throwing a hissy-fit.

My daughter absolutely loves her dance class! It is something she looks forward to every single week. She has Ms. Polly and adores her, and I have also been so impressed with all the other staff we have had encounters with as well. It has been such a great place for fostering my daughter’s independence while still providing her a nurturing environment. You can tell they truly care about these kiddos. My daughter is 4 yrs old and is in the preschool combo class for tap and ballet at SVDC. She absolutely loves her dance class, friends and dance instructors! We were a little iffy in the beginning because she was super shy since she’s never been in a dance studio before but they went above and beyond out of their way to make her feel so comfortable and welcome. She looks forward to dance class every week. I would definitely recommend SVDC to anyone with or toddlers & kids.

My daughter has been with SVDC for maybe 4 years now, and we have nothing but love for this dance company and its team. My daughter worked her way from Pre-K Combo (with Miss Tanys) to K-2nd (with Miss Polly), and is now enjoying Cheer (with Miss Devanee)! I have nothing but gratitude for my daughter’s instructors, as they have helped mold the confidence that she now has today. Through Dance, my daughter has had the opportunity to build important friendships, strengths, skills, and see/do things that would not otherwise have been a possibility!
