I never write reviews but I had to leave one for this studio. My bestfriend set up a group class for her Dirty 30 birthday and it was amazing experience! Mikayla and her partner were great instructors they really brought the energy to the class. Both ladies were very patient and helpful, for this to be our first ever pole dancing class it was very fun! They both inspired me to look into something like this back at home, wonderful atmosphere and the next time I’m in town I will definitely be coming back!

Before March of 2025 I had never touched a pole a day in my life. From day one I felt so welcomed and it is such a safe space to be a beginner. I love that I always feel equally encouraged and pushed to be better as I’ve continued to go. I’ve absolutely fallen in love with pole and (BONUS) have made some incredible friends and community there too. I cannot express how much coming to this studio every week to take class has positively impacted my pole skills, strength/flexibility, and overall mental well being. I just want to say that Sunset Pole Studio is not only beautiful and well run but the owners have made such a positive impact to the community by opening this studio. I have been performing aerial chains nationally for several years and had started to get requests to teach here in Phoenix, I approached several of the studios in the area but none were interested. The owners of Sunset specifically designed the space for me teach and encouraged me through out the whole process! After we opened several of the same studios that initially refused then added it to their schedule with teachers that did not have much experience. This studio is the best in the area, with the best vibes, best aesthetic, welcoming to the community of all, including honoring the origin of pole dancing in a positive environment. I took an intro to pole class here to test the waters, and let’s just say… the pole definitely won this round. 😅 I couldn’t get a good grip to save my life, but the instructor and students were so encouraging that I still left with a huge smile (and a new respect for my arm muscles).

The instructor was amazing—patient, funny, and super supportive—and the other women in class cheered me on like I was nailing every move, even when I was basically just hugging the pole for dear life. 💪😂

After this experience, I have an entirely new level of respect for the athletes who do this daily. These women are absolute powerhouses. The owners are incredible too, and the whole vibe is women supporting women, which is rare and refreshing to find.

If you’re looking for a studio in AZ, THIS is the place. I’ll definitely be back—just as soon as I build up some strength (and maybe invest in a vat of grip aid). 😉

First off, such a beautiful studio. Immaculate vibes, stunningly put together. Ample parking, next to the main highways, great smoothie spot next door.
Now for the actual classes- I am a “dancer” and sometimes going into pole dancing studios do not feel inclusive and that is not the case here at all. The women at Sunset are SO sw friendly, even providing discount for open studio for us girlies. In all my classes there have been a wide variety of people and bodies in class, and everybody is as welcome as the next. I’ve brought my girlfriends in and they feel the same. So psyched to find Sunset.

Have been taking Mary’s classes since I began pole 6 years ago. She is a PHENOMENAL teacher and this studio is a testament to her love of the art and her students.

Absolutely loved visiting this studio and cannot wait to return in person. I loved it so much that I've joined virtual classes! As a studio owner myself I'm super picky in what I look for and I can tell you that they've checked every box. This studio deserves all the praise it receives. Its very welcoming for a guy in a female dominant scene. Everyone is so plesant and the studio itself is fantastic. The instructors are very patient and the instructions are crystal. Beginners have no worries.
I've been to studios that never bothered to ask if I had any experience and assumed I understood the terminology. I was a novice and completely lost. Definitely didn't feel like they cared.
Sunset on the other hand, went out of their way to call and check on me when I pulled a muscle. That alone speaks volumes. Definitely glad I found them ☺️

I attended a private pole class here with friends for my bachelorette party. We had the best time. The class format was structured in a way that challenged us but was also super manageable. The most beautiful pole dance studio in Phoenix!! Literally everything I've ever dreamed of in a studio space. The high ceilings, the mirrors that go all the way to the very bottom of the floor, the elegant design, the lighting that make you look AMAZING in your videos... chef's kiss.

As someone who works in the evenings and sadly doesn't have a pole at home, I LOVE that they offer private daytime studio rentals, so I can still maintain my discipline and routine even when I can't catch a class!
