Our daughter started classes at swim kids a few months ago and absolutely loves it. Anthony is a phenomenal instructor with a knack for teaching crucial survival skills in fun ways. Our daughter has learned invaluable skills here and we couldn’t be more grateful to swim kids for fostering a positive, fun, and above all safe environment.

I’ve been meaning to write this for a while, I can’t say enough positive things about this swim school. For starters, every day upon entry you are greeted with the most welcoming hello from the staff. They always call my kids by name, as for the rest of the staff, everyone speaks and says hello anytime they pass by and you can tell it’s in the culture that they truly care about their students and families. My kids love coming here and look forward to their lessons. After the third time they stopped crying and are now asking when they can go to swim again. I think it’s because the instructors are invested and it’s not just a paycheck to them. So if you’re looking for a welcoming environment and a staff that truly cares, then this is your place!

We love Jalen! When my daughter first started coming to class a year ago (she was one) she cried so much. But Jalen was so patient and kind with her, and now all week long I hear how she wants to go to swim class to see "Teacher!"

She's improved her skills so much, I feel so much more comfortable having her around water now. This is a great school!

We can’t say enough good things about swim kids!

Our son at 2.5 yr old went from screaming his lungs out every time he was in the water to being part of the class after 6 wks with Mr. Brandon.

Now 3 yrs later he his graduating level 6 with all the love and support from Mr. Anthony. If your kids are struggling or just learning I highly recommend!

Not honest owner/crew , scamer place and liar owner.

Don't expect to have their insurance take care about accident happen to you or your children in this place!
You pay for lesson ,teachers, infrastructure and insurance they have to cover something happen during the time you are in this place. But They tried to do their best to blame everything on you to don't use their insurance.

I slipped in their shower with my 10 month daughter in my arms. We hit the ground really strong. My daughter got a broken skull with bleed under skin and leg broken. I complete the paperwork to explain the accident at the main office with someone on the medical staff.
We ask for their insurance information to the hospital bills ( 35 k hospital bills ). They just denied us , tell us we are not welcome to come back . And said to their insurance I drop my daughter on the floor.
We had a witness during the accident, but they don't let us to talk to him inside of the building to take his information. So we waiting outside on the parking lot to talk to him .
He told us , he is not allowed to talk to us , cause they probably put pressure on him to don't say the true.

This place should not work with children anymore. Cause they just worried about money and not abareout children health.

GO AWAY FROM THAT PLACE. !

Absolutely recommend for your child/children!! I cannot say enough good things about this swim school! We enrolled our granddaughter in swim lessons over the summer. The experience she had and the sense of pride she exhibited from learning how to swim was priceless for us! It certainly boosted her confidence level. Every single staff member at this swim school was friendly, accommodating and encouraging. Our granddaughter had such a memorable experience and we will forever be grateful🙏
Thank you to Brandon for making this possible by coordinating her swim lessons and going above and beyond! Every single instructor worked beautifully with her. Their skill and attention to detail were second to none! Thankyou!

We've been coming here for 2.5 years since my older son was 4 months. Today he leveled up to 4 and heart couldn't be prouder and more thankful for this school. He's under 3 and he is so self sufficient and safe in the pool. Of course we are still in there with him but we are just watching him practice and play.

The instructors were great with my kids and all the staff were nice. My biggest complaint is that I was accidentally charged for one of my kids even though I unenrolled them prior to the deadline. I asked one time over the phone (right after I was accidentally charged) and at least three times in person to get a refund. All I was told was that it would be taken care of or that they would tell their finance person Lance so he would take care of it. It has been a month since I was charged and I still haven't received a refund yet.

Update on 10/23/23: The day after I wrote the review, Lance contacted me to understand what happened and make things right. He was prompt at resolving the situation.

Great experienced instructors, some have experience with autistic children which is great if you need them. Start as early as you can with your kids! Once you have a class booked, thats what you are scheduled with till your kid moves on, so its a consistent schedule.

My granddaughter and her parents moved to a home that had a pool. She was only 3 and didn't know how to swim. I enrolled her at swimkids and at the very 1st lesson they taught her how to get out of a pool on her own. She understood. I was simply amazed as I watched. She went through about 18 months of once a week lessons and she was excited to go. She's 5 not and can swim on her own the full length of the pool at her home. I would highly recommend swimkids to anyone who finds themselves in the same situation as we were. She learned her lessons well and the staff was very attentive to her needs. Thank you.

Tried a class and was informed to sign up with another instructor, when asked if we can try the class with the new instructor, we were told no, one kid only gets 1 free trial.
When we refuse to pay them all the fees and then find out the new instructor doesn't work again, they suggested we can try other times but it's not like parents don't work in our case. When asked if there can be an exception, was told "We wish you all the best with your kid's future swim. have a good day"

Full disclosure - my wife works here. Having said that my 2 kids have been going to SWIMkids for swim, gym, and dance for the entirety of their lives. Customer service and pricing is excellent. The safety skills and thought process they instill in kids and their families is worth its weight in gold. Thank you SWIMkids for helping make my kids safe in and around water. Their self confidence has flourished and we noticed an immediate payoff with their hand eye coordination.

I adopted my son at age 7 from foster care and he couldn't swim at all. Swim Kids created a special program for him and celebrated every accomplishment. He became a very good swimmer. He's now 21and I have a new job as a nanny. I have highly recommended Swim Kids for their 1yr old.

Swimkids USA is an amazing swim school. The staff is great and treat you like family. Both of our daughters have been attending since before they were a year old. Once your kids pass through the levels of swimming and learn all their strokes, they can be transitioned to the Riptide swim team, which is great also.

The other day (in March, not quite swim weather) my husband was working on our pool with the cover completely removed. He was followed by our youngest, 20 months old. She was getting equal parts acknowledgement and admonishment to respect the edge of the pool. He was purposely giving her space to explore while he brushed it down. The warnings worked for about 1.5 hours. Then she forgot and fell into the pool. In mid-air, lessons kicked in. She turned and grabbed the side of the pool, yelling and crying when she fell and waited to be retrieved. He quickly got her out and took her clothes off to start warming her up. Her body was soaked from the momentary dip but her entire head and the tops of her shoulders were bone dry. We wonder if swim lessons work, are they really learning how to survive accidental falls into the water? It just looks like they’re playing and enjoying their instructor’s attentions. We got our confirmation in a very controlled setting: Swim lessons are worth it!

Hands down, best money we’ve spent on our children’s life skill development. Lana, Jackson and all the instructors are teaching priceless skills especially in an warm climate where pools are more prevalent than less. We’ve been going to Swimkids since our 4yo was 2 months old. Our youngest has been in swim since she was 3 months old. They’ve become an extended family and celebrate our kids milestones with us.

Parents please make sure you get new born/toddler life water survival classes. This is the best place in the valley. If I remember the new born classes start at 6 months or so and that was free. Then survival classes focusing on different life skills. Leveling up and making it fun for the kids. They have taught my daughter so much and she is very comfortable and so are we with her around water. She is literally a little fish now. This place is family owned and run. You’ll probably even have some of family be your instructors. I absolutely can’t recommend this place more. Literally the best.

We have been taking lessons here for many years. Friendly staff, amazing helping crying kids get comfortable in the water. Many of the little ones are having both their first experience away from a parent and in the water, and they help so much for both the parent and child. Once the kiddos are comfortable, they begin a great program taking them from blowing bubbles to swim team.

We love SWIMkids! Our daughter has been taking lessons here since she was four months old. She's almost three now and we see the impact these lessons have had on both her sense of pool safety and her abilities in the water. The entire staff is exceptional -- kind, knowledgeable, and properly trained. There are several swim schools in the area, but after making multiple calls and asking about safety and cleanliness standards, SWIMkids stood out. I feel better educated as a parent and have seen first-hand how our daughter's training is making a difference. In this time of Covid-19, the school has taken extra precautions to keep students, staff, and parents safe. I've even seen the founder of the school cleaning alongside her team. We are grateful for the SWIMkids team and highly recommend them to other families in the area. Anthony and Angie have both been exceptional teachers for our daughter -- although, I'm pretty sure there's not a bad teacher in the bunch!

Ok. I love taking my kid to this place to get her swimming lessons in. Great place and their teachers are wonderful with children. However, their staffing who work at the front are very rude. I don’t care how long you have worked there with your policies and procedures. If I tell you I have never had to pay that before without adding more money from deducting myself from the automatic payment. You don’t have to be so rude about it and tell me otherwise. For that I give two stars. Staff shouldn’t have to tell you rudely how they are right and you are wrong. I thought customers are suppose to come first. In this case they obviously don’t care as long they get what they want. After telling them my financial issue and it was like we don’t care it’s your problem. I think I’ll be pulling my kid out of there and seek somewhere else.

Apart from the miscommunication and nosy man who was disrupting the enroll process I think it was a great place but unfortunately there verbal agreement on the pricing and the special rates are not communicated among the staff. Being Arizona it is a ok place. I went to sign up my special needs son and we had a trial and we signed up for the class and and at the time of signing up there was older man who saw me with my military cap even without me asking if there is military discount and he was stating there is no discount for the girl ( instructor) who was trying to sign up my child. my wife had spoken over the phone and was told that there is a special price if we signed up on the same day. did not like first impression.

My son is nonverbal, high functioning autistic. I enrolled him in swim classes here at around 2yo, I was so worried! And to be honest, the first month was pretty rough (for both of us!) But his swim teacher Brandon was awesome, he wouldn’t let either of us give up! My son now looks forward to his weekly swim class, and the benefits from them have exceeded him simply learning to swim for survival. His confidence level has skyrocketed, and his ability to follow directions has improved tremendously. The amount of compassion and understanding we’ve experienced here is absolutely amazing! They have gone above and beyond to accommodate my sons needs.

My introductory experience to this school back in June 2016 couldn't have gone any better then it did. Since then I've been tasked with working with different instructors for swimming. It's a hit and a miss. My son is exposed to different people and personalities. My concern is that what he needs to work on is lost in the cracks of going over the same basics as opposed to improving upon where he left off from the previous class. This process makes testing out seem like an illusion.

Tumbling is a great outlet for my son. He's very strong and energetic. When tasked with new things he does very well. But when stuck doing the same thing redundantly his interest and patience runs thin. I had to switch his class up to freshen things up a bit for him to engage him again. He needs to be challenged more. In order for this to occur he must test out but it doesn't seem to be a goal during the class. My expectations may just be a little high.

Aside from a few miscommunications, this school is great. My son has progressed in so many ways with this school. He gets the guidance he needs and is constantly encouraged by his coaches. The only reason it wasn't given 5 stars is due to some mishaps that have occurred with communicating where the practices are to be held. Other than that, everyone has been stellar. I'd also like to mention that it is very affordable!

My review of: SWIMkids USA

As we approached the building we could hear the exciting swim/beach themed music playing, thus setting the mood for this adventure. Once inside we were greeted by an completely themed room. There are picnic benches for eating snacks after the kids swim and movies to watch. The central room has many play centers for children to play as they wait their turn. You really feel like you are at a beach. The walls are painted to mimic the sky and beach, with palm trees, beach houses and other beach themed images. Non slide mats go from pool to changing room.

There are 2 pools that are also completely themed as well. Lots of bright colors and colorful swim aids. I loved the float boards shaped like turtles and the blue tiles shaped like dolphins at the bottom of the pool.

The changing rooms were very clean and designed to accommodate lots of small children. The decorations in there continued the beach theme. It was very fun and exciting. This swim school is really cute and well maintained.

Our 30 min instructor Chad was very gentle and kind in teaching my 4 independent children.

The age range for children here are from very young like about 8 months to 12 yrs old.
Your children will feel very excited to be at this swim school. there is plenty to do for the swimmer and non swimmer.
