I absolutely love working out at this gym! The equipment is always clean and in great condition, which makes every workout feel safe and smooth. The group classes are a huge motivator for me. The energy is contagious and really helps me push through challenging workouts!🔥 The overall vibe is fun, welcoming, and supportive. Whether you're new or experienced, the coaches and members make sure no one ever feels uncomfortable or left out. It’s a great place to grow stronger, both physically and mentally! 💪🏼

The Barnyard is the GREATEST gym I’ve ever worked out at. The workouts are phenomenal, the coaches are amazing and it is an exceptional community to be apart of. Being someone who came from a CrossFit gym still trying to figure out how to get stronger and get more gymnastic movements down, I am now the strongest I have ever been and can do so many movements I never could before. I am where I am today because of the constant motivation from the owners, coaches and members at The Barnyard. I am so grateful to be a member at this gym. There is no better place than The Barnyard!

The owners are extremely fake. They'll smile in your face but then talk trash behind your back to other members. The programing is good, and their gym space and equipment are nice. The two individuals
(Sharon and Alex) that the owners have running the AM class are extremely inept when it comes to doing the proper warm ups for the right muscle groups. They also are quick to talk down to people who don't meet "crossfit standards". The worst part of all Is when I saw a new gym going struggling to do back squats. The bar wasn't centered on the young girls back, it was wobbling and she'd struggle to get the bar back on. Sharon repeatedly ignored this fact. The owners have received numerous complaints from multiple gym goers but have yet to do anything about it. Therefore, the owners are extremely negligent as well. If you're an AM gym goer keep this in mind.

The owners are down to earth, friendly, informative and truly the definition of what the fitness industry should be like.
The gym is organized, clean and has everything you need to train for any type of sport, sporting event, goals, etc.
All of the members were very welcoming and friendly.

Great gym! 24 hour access and all equipment needed for CrossFit, HYROX, DEKA, powerlifting, strongman, and more. I use the facility as an open gym, but they do offer classes that are really great. The trainers and staff are very knowledgeable and very friendly. If you're in the West Valley, this is the gym for you!

This is the best gym! They are all super inclusive and extremely nice to everyone. My first experience walking in at 4:30 AM I was greeted with Good mornings from other members. They did not know me at all and introduced themselves. They helped me learn the movements of CrossFit. I was cheered on throughout my workout. The coaches were absolutely fantastic. Collin is one of the most kindhearted people I have ever met. I am glad I found barnyard!!

And honestly the people with the negative reviews on here sound like crybabies who simply didn’t get their way and probably expect everything handed to them. Don’t listen to the negative reviews. This is the place you want to go to reach your full fitness potential, and not the place to go if you expect freebies, handouts, and participation trophies. Work hard and the results will pay off. I have been training at Barnyard for over a year and a half and love it! The classes are a lot of fun and challenging, without being over technical or competitive.
The instructors are very knowledgeable about a variety of lifts, and the workouts are a good variety and allow me to progress with strength, endurance, and mobility.
Additionally, they are always very encouraging and know how to keep us motivated and working towards our goals.

I am currently a member here at The Barnyard since April 2023. When I first started here, I was 209lbs and training in jiu jitsu. What Becca and Colin did for me was help me get to a goal weight to compete at. I am currently sitting at 183lbs and cutting more to compete nationally. The program they have set for me gave me a realistic picture of what I needed to work on, they held me accountable and ensured that I put in the work. I have gained muscle and lost visceral fat, but what kept me going was the atmosphere. I would not and could not have made it through without the group of people (the members) that come to the Barnyard. It is a family atmosphere and we push through when it is grueling especially when it’s hot. Yes, we have fans and yes we workout in the heat but it’s not UNBEARABLE. Come try it out cause I assure you it is a fun place to be at. Before I end this, I never really knew how to properly lift, know what Toes to Bar was, climb up some ropes, or even challenged myself to do a Spartan race but guess what I did. Thanks to Colin and Becca.

Proud to call the barnyard my home gym!!!! The culture and atmosphere is superb and above and beyond anything I’ve experienced. There’s no better feeling then seeing your community just want to see you succeed and win. The coach’s will always uplift you and help you realize your way more capable of what you believe! I personally do strongman and they have almost all the unusual equipment strongman requires from log,CDB, sandbags, stones, yoke,farmers, frame, axle bars etc. . Colin and becca have never once failed to get the stuff we need and have always expressed to just ask and they would do their best to accommodate us. The classes are amazing as well. Being a bigger guy they have never once pushed me to do something that I felt unsafe to do and have always found alternative’s to those concerns you may have when in class. As many of us have busy lives or schedules that may not fit into class times the open gym 24/7 is such a massive plus!!!! They always have the class workouts on the board in case you can’t make it for class time and also post it on the members app so you can always find a time to accomplish your workouts no matter the schedule. I highly recommend coming in and trying a class and seeing the most supportive amazing community members the barnyard has!!!

Was sorely disappointed in this gym as I had high hopes based on the very impressive facilities! But sadly the coaching did not match up. The programming often included highly difficult and technical movements not suitable for most average members, which would be fine, except the coaches never seemed to have adequate scaling options or ways to help members build such skills. Additionally the owners were not reliable. On multiple occasions myself and other members showed up to scheduled classes and they did not show up to coach or were extremely late, with no notice. I did not feel the owners respected members or truly cared about helping them improve. I didn’t even end up staying to finish the 3 months I paid for.

I am one month in and I freaking love the Barnyard. Blowing my horn just a little bit, my BIGGEST body complaint and issue is my belly. For those women who have Diastasis Recti (abdominal separation) you understand my heartache, the permanent belly bulge.
I was at my wits end and was going to do a mommy makeover, but decided to tryout Barnyard before going under the knife. I’m absolutely blown away with my results so far!
I actually SEE the weight coming off and my belly is shrinking!! It’s hard work but so freaking satisfying! Plus back to what I love to do, CrossFit 🤗

I just joined Barnyard because of my son (who’s 19 and who’s been attending longer). My son liked the workouts, classes, and people and convinced me to try it out. I was hesitant because I’m not in shape or strong. But I was pleasantly surprised at how welcoming and supportive everyone was, how the instructor made sure I had modifications to harder movements that I could do, how friendly and helpful people were, and how great I felt right afterwards and days later. I feel like joining Barnyard has opened up opportunities in my life for friends, laughs, challenges, exercise, health, fun, and an improved mood and outlook on life. Maybe it’s time you join me at 5am?

I’m in town for 3 weeks before I head out to play college football, so I asked if I could only pay for 3 weeks instead of a month pass and Collin was very helpful and accommodating with my special circumstance! The programming and the structure of the weeks workouts are a perfect blend of tough for more experienced people while still being able to scale and change the workouts for beginners. The excellent customer service along with the great facility and high quality equipment, makes this a premier outlet for athletes, experienced lifters, and people just getting started in the fitness world! 11/10

So happy I took the jump to join this gym! I started by just dropping by occasionally and I would leave feeling great and motivated to keep going back. Becca and Collin are great coaches and they genuinely care about their members and they take pride in what they do. Facility is so spacious and clean with lots of parking!

This gym is awesome! The owners instill a great sense of community and genuinely care about their members and their goals. All the classes are programmed themselves and the facility is fantastic. I have been a member since November of 2023. My whole mindset to fitness has changed. I have PRed lifts by 10-20 pounds in a short time. I am now working out 5-6 days a week instead of 2 times a day. I have to say that Becca and Collin's programming is the best I have ever seen. I have never regretted a workout. They make it fun and challenging and write all their own workouts. I love the mix of the circuit days and old skool days. The facility is clean and there equipment is state of the art. I love the community too! They also have daycare in the evening for Momma's just like me! I can't wait to start their nutrition program in May. I am excited to see what gains I will make!! I truly can't say enough about the Barnyard. If you haven't dropped in on a class, you are missing out!!!

Both of my kids have been going to the Barnyard for about a year now, and it’s a decision that the whole family is happy about. Collin and Becca work the kids out and get the most out of them. My 15 year old son started there in January to prep for baseball season. While he was only there for a short time,
it was such an amazing experience. He not only got stronger, but put on weight, which was one of his goals. Collin and Becca are so knowledgeable about many different aspects of fitness and nutrition. They are also willing to talk to you about anything and answer all of your questions. My son is looking forward to coming back after high school baseball season ends. They make putting in the work FUN! I highly recommend you check them out.

My son (baseball player) had a partial tear of his UCL and needed to learn how to build the muscles up around the tendon. It was recommended he find a strength training facility to help him with this. We had heard about Collin and Barnyard before and the schedule just didn't work out. Now that he had some time on his hands being on IR. This was the best thing for him during his off season. Not only did he learn about different exercises. His overall physique was incredibly better. Would definitely recommend Collin and team to anyone looking for this type of workout.

I’ve been going to global gyms for the last 20 years. Never really thought much of Box gyms. I tried a few 6 months ago, my wife and I fell in love with The Barnyard. Becca and Collin are great coaches and owners. They have a clean and inviting gym. All the equipment is nearly brand new. They push you when you need the motivation, but they also pay attention to form. I have previous injuries from my younger years, and they even help me modify my work outs to make sure I stay healthy and still get good exercise.

Recently just started some personal training with Colin. The training has been outstanding. Colin is extremely knowledgeable and knows how to design sessions that will absolutely drain you when you're done. If you're looking to gain/lose weight, gain strength and/or muscle and get into great shape, Colin is your man. Barnyard also has the best when it comes to CrossFit sessions. I have been through a session and it was fantastic. Becca and Colin coach the sessions and they have the best training to get you into shape.
