I joined The Camp a year ago and so much has changed since then. I USED to love this place and the trainers but they changed management and all of the trainers went to the new gym (One Percenter)
I decided to cancel my contract which was a month to month then I went back and decided to give it a try before my membership ended…I asked can my cancelation be reversed and Kiko had a nasty attitude and said “I told you so” which did not surprise me because she was acting salty the minute I canceled. She said they only have annual contracts now or you can pay $137 a month It’s probably because they lost so many members and trainers in the last 4 months not to mention they fired of one of the best trainers they had!
I would not recommend this place. It’s overpriced and the trainers (with the exception of Alondra) are trash. They also took away the schedule because they “don’t want people coming for certain trainers” but in reality it’s because their employee retention is down the drain and they never know who is working when. They also had the workout stations set up all over the place so we had to cross paths with ppl during covid with NO masks instead of being normal and setting the stations up in order.
**Update - after canceling my membership and being told my last charge would be in September they charged me again now I have to go through my bank to get my money back.

One of the best experiences!! We work out at the camp in Albuquerque NM and we get what we pay for. We just took a trip to Arizona and we found the camp here in Phenix! Amazing!! Great workout, great atmosphere, wonderful and knowledgeable trainers!! I will always recommend this to my friends and family!!

Due to recent COVID-19 restrictions, I contacted the Camp letting them know I would not be participating and furthermore I would be moving. At that point, they indicated my contract would be cancelled. Recently they withdrew what was my monthly payment and stated I had to give a 30 day notice. Despite I had previously given them a notice over 2 months ago, they would not return back my money. Be weary of the contracts you sign and whom you speak with. The camp has a huge turn over rate with staff. However their trainers are friendly and helpful.

I have called, left voice mails, text and emailed 5 times with no response at all! Very unprofessional. When Morgan was running this place everything was ran smooth and professional. Will never go back here!

I enjoyed the atmosphere here so much during my challenge that I became a member. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, the trainers are AMAZING and the other members / challengers are so supportive! I've made some great friendships here that I know I'll have for years to come. If you put in the effort you'll get the results!

Very disappointed at Spencer one of the trainers st the Peoria location, he has NO ethical knowledge on how to talk in private to new challengers, it seems like he loves to put people down.
On Tuesday June the 26TH I had a really bad/embarrassing experience with Spencer the trainer infront of 2 other challengers/ ladies.

The camp workouts are great and the positive vibe is amazing always from both trainers and members/challengers. They do provide the meal plan and the exercising which does work. The reason for only giving it 3 stars is a few things that I’m disappointed about:
1. When I signed up I was very clear the workouts were not what scared me, but it was the meal prepping because I don’t know how to cook. During orientation and the first week I expressed this concern again and again. During orientation I was told recipes would be shared and posted online by the camp and other members. I believe I saw 1 recipe, I know the accountability is on me to figure out the meals, but then don’t promise something you’re not going to do.
2. There were a few of us that started our first challenge a week late, but unlike the first group that started on time and got feedback and advice a week prior to the last week, us late starts weren’t even acknowledged until mid week of week 6. This made it feel very unorganized and like it didn’t matter if we met the challenge or not. Of course once I asked for what to work on , or how to prepare for the last week I got some feedback but again the group that finished on time got all this without question during week five as part of the announcements.
3. Lastly, it’s awkward to have a guy come in and introduce himself as the new director of the camp while the other one hasn’t stepped down. Or hearing conversation on the phone about why she’s being let go, this is just as we’re passing by.
The first time I went to an orientation was at the location in Phoenix, referred to by a friend. That camp instilled confidence, structure, and organization. I got more food feedback in orientation that first time (I didn’t join) than I have here at the peoria camp. The people are great, the trainers are awesome, but it still feels like the other camp I went to originally helped out the challengers more proactively. I even remember the director there saying they had someone we could use to prepare meal for us at a charge of course, when I asked at the peoria camp they had no idea.
Does the program work YES! Will you enjoy the workouts ABSOLUTELY!! If you’re like me and don’t know how to cook, prepare to eat bland food as they will not provide recipes or assistance in that area. Without the food in place, it’s double hard to succeed at the challenge.
