I've been to a couple of events in the auditorium. The acoustics are good, and the staff are helpful. It is a smaller venue with limited parking, so you might want to arrive early if the artist you are seeing is popular.

🌊 Best $30 We’ve Ever Spent—Pure Joy for All Ages! 💦

My wife, our two-year-old, and I visited the aquatic center for the first time today—and WOW. We ended up staying nearly 3 hours and could’ve easily spent the whole day. From the moment we arrived around 10:30, it was non-stop fun. The water features kicked in at 11, and let me tell you—there’s no escaping the splash zone! 😂 If you’re trying to keep your hair dry, forget it. You’re getting soaked, and you’re going to love every second of it.

We must’ve floated around the lazy river a dozen times (I lost count), and that giant bucket that dumps water? Total crowd-pleaser. Even as adults, my wife and I were laughing, playing, and getting just as wild as the kids—running through sprinklers, firing water guns, and sliding like we were 10 again. Our toddler was in heaven, and honestly, so were we.

🎟️ Just $15 per adult—$30 total—and worth every single penny. There’s so much to do, and the atmosphere is pure joy. If you’re looking for a place to let loose, bond with your family, and feel like a kid again, this is it. 10/10, no question.

Customer service..... I was holding off making the review, hoping I'll forget about it. Last Sunday 7/20 @ 3pm I took my 3 boys (3, 5, and 8). The pool and facility itself was great. They were out of kid life jackets. I understand they walk away and it was busy, So I went ahead and used the larger life jackets. I just tightened the straps as tight as they could go on my children . While doing so I was approached by a lifeguard who asked their ages and proceeded to tell me were they could go. I was fine with that part she's a teen working her post doing her job. Even though I planned on putting everyone in the kiddie area being out numbered 3:1. What I didn't appreciate was her attitude and demeanor at the end of the conversation. She stated my oldest (8) couldn't get in because his life jacket was on wrong. I replied ok could you help me fix it. Her response was "you figure it out" with an eye roll and snicker. First, I believe if you shouldn't address a problem without a solution. Also like I told the Lead lifeguard on duty. If she didn't know how she could've simply said, I dont know how or if its against policy her reply should've been its against our policy. The Lead on duty seemed receptive of my complaint and was polite. However I dont believe it went anywhere else. Im not expecting the little girl to loose her job but she does need more customer service training before dealing with people. Im 40yrs not 17 nor one of her peers. Ive supported the Krock for yrs even during covid and didn't even go. I've been a member of the community my entire life and if people dont want to be bothered send them somewhere else.

My kids have been going to the grocery center for years! The crew back in 2015- 2021 was awesome! I was able to have my kids participate in flqg football, soccer, basketball, cheer! Not to mention all the holiday festivities! I was able to volunteer to be close to my kids. They also have summer camp, day care, game room, rock climbing and an indoor pool! Great place with a lot of things to do. Horrible girls for customer service. I signed up online, thinking my daughter didn’t need a pass.

I came in to upgrade, and the lady at the front desk was too cool for school and couldn’t be bothered with simple customer service things like eye contact or presence.

Then, we checked out the game room and that was super fun. Video games, ping pong table, nice TVs. Then we went swimming and apparently my daughter chose to swim in the “swim group” section she wasn’t supposed to.

The lifeguard (another girl too cool to speak up in the loud pool area, rolling her eyes when I asked her to speak up) asked her to move, which was fine, but they expect you to know the rules and are extremely rude when you ask for clarification on what they’re talking about.

Also, super super crowded in the evening. We’ll try mornings next.

Such a cool place, but be aware that if your kid is 6 or under, they won’t be able to swim without an adult. No option for swim test, to swim with a life jacket, or do the water playground that is there. I did see plenty of smaller kids without a parent in arms reach, so not sure how they decide who to enforce that rule on. I know it’s their policy, and my fault for not knowing, but a huge bummer for my 5 year old who was so excited to swim, and I didn’t bring my swimsuit. Just want other parents to be aware.

We attended the Nick and Kelly Heart Event at the Kroc Center hosted by Phoenix Childrens Hospital, and I just want to say how grateful I am that they put this together. After my daughter’s fourth open-heart surgery, finding a place like the Kroc Center — welcoming, fun, and full of activities for kids — meant the world to us. It was an awesome event, and the heart behind it truly showed. Thank you for making families like ours feel seen and supported.

The indoor pool is great. We arrived later in the day so didn't have a chance to visit the rest of the facility but it is a big place. I seen a library, an outdoor splash pad, indoor gym, and a arts and catfish crafts area.
You pay a fee for the day which covers access to the whole facility.
Our family of 5 visited for a total of $69.
The pool has a big slide our 8 year old was able to enjoy and a rock wall.
Outdoor splash pad, library
Very friendly family atmosphere.

I’m a a retired Sr. Citizen who found purpose in my life again by joining the Silver Sneaker's activities at the KROC. Socializing with people again has kept me from staying at home doing nothing. I have chronic medical conditions and the exercise classes, exercise equipment have made my mobility and balance stronger!! I had no idea there was a place to get together, have coffee, celebrate birthdays, and just have great fellowship. My Drs are pleased I am exercising and socializing. It is so very good physically and emotionally. The poor front desk staff are wonderful, even when an elderly person is cranky and having a bad day. We have to make sure that we who enter the community center need to work on our own attitudes . Thank God for the KROC center!! They give more to us than we deserve!! Margo M

Signed up for swimming lessons for my 2 yr old here. The water here is way too cold for the little one's. I watched several toddlers for the whole lesson and there lips even started to turn purple. They looked very discouraged to even do anything because they were shivering. Also they seemed to be short on supplies for the class there was always a family or two left with out something.

Honestly, I’m really disappointed with how things are run here. The payment system is a complete mess, and the staff at the front desk are rude and inconsistent. They pick and choose who they want to charge—I saw plenty of kids come in without issue, but my child was stopped multiple times until I paid. It felt targeted and unfair.

To make matters worse, they charge $15 per person just to enter. That’s outrageous, especially in times like these when families are already struggling financially. This is supposed to be a community-centered space, but instead, it feels like they’re taking advantage.

When someone brought up the issues with the payment system and the CashApp not working, the owner’s response was literally, “I don’t know what to tell you guys.” No accountability, no help—just attitude. And to top it off, they don’t even take card payments. It’s just unprofessional all around. Do better.

I have been trying to get a hold of the Arts, Education, and Camp Manager and have had no luck since the start of last week on Monday. I have left over 5 voicemails… It seems as if the staff in the front office don’t know what they’re doing. The phone is constantly ringing and no one was picking up the phone while I was there. I was given a PERSONAL EMAIL in error to send income documents (confirmed by manager). I strongly believe they need new management.

I’ve donated to the Salvation Army for years. But shopping at this location is not always a good experience. While I appreciate the variety and amount of clothing options for women and men, the racks are WAY over packed. It’s hard to look at anything cause it’s so packed. Household items are limited and next to no baby/toddler clothes. It looks like they are doing the bins now too, but not a great setup especially with the giant chain link fence surrounding it. Also, employees are not polite at all and most of the time actually quite rude. Not a horrible thrift store, but not great.

Our family loves the Kroc center! I love the fitness center, the variety of classes offered for the kids, and the super clean facility. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming.
If there is something to suggest is a separate parking for members during sports or other events going on. I understand that sports and other events rent out the space, but then it is really difficult for paying members to find parking. Other than those isolated events, the Kroc center continues to be amazing!!!

Imagine coming to the 'Salvation Army' and being told you have to pay $15 bucks just to get in. I only wanted to hang out at the front tables, and get a little 'heat relief' for me and my Yorkie (for LITERALLY 15-30 minutes). I was told no, and that no manager was there to talk to, and then mocked as I was leaving. Yes, it was 10am and more workers than customers, just sitting around. Yes, the 'non-profit Salvation Army' is demanding people pay $15 just to sit in the lobby for 15 minutes. Time for some change and compassion from a so-called 'humane' organization. I turned around and walked out.

Not one other employee even stepped up to say, 'Yeah, they can just go sit for 15 minutes, no big deal.' Terrible experience, for something that literally meant nothing, to anybody.... over $15!! After reading other reviews, be warned about employees with no normal concept of discretion or compassion.

The aquatics hours are false. The pool is very often closed. They call it an "annual cleaning" a lot. Like for example the pool was closes all Easter weekend, although it is not listed as so on the website. You basically have to call ahead anytime you want to swim. Also, anytime you want to go play basketball, there will be a tournament or event going on so you won't get to play. They have never set up a small hoop for my daughter when I asked. One more thing, the birthday party scheme is really lame. They offer a "party planner" but she is more of a buzzkill than anything. She doesn't attempt to make birthday parties any more fun, is just there to enforce rules on your kids. The lifeguards have no customer service training in general and arbitrarily enforce rules. O yea, and people have to be 12 years old to use the hot tub. Don't get a membership. Even though the prices for one entry are ridiculous, you will save money in the long run because you won't want to go back more than a few times. Once you get to know the workers and policies this places loses its appeal very quickly.

They have a nice 200m track indoors, perfect for walking or running in the summer time. Unfortunately they often release the summer camp children to run wild up there, which is good practice for hurdles as you have to jump over them. Additionally, there are often people standing in the middle of the track lanes instead of off to the side, having a conversation. The staff don’t really do anything when you bring it up.

I like this place, the only thing that I don't like is that there is people wearing their full clothing in the pool. should be rules against that".

I gave a three star because the Kroc center overall amazing place. I think the Director that’s in charge either favoritism or really just don’t care who she hires. It’s Ridiculous when people put you in charge to be a Director or manager, you do not hold your employees accountable. There should be No reason why you don’t hold them accountable for their attitudes and how they treat us without us will not be standing They are very rude Contradicting And the main line is, I hope you experience will be better next time we’ll make your employees make it better and then everything will be better because again this community is our community without Us coming there with our services this community center will not be standing.

Was there for a basketball tournament. The time keeper erased the clock and scoreboard (couldn't get her off her phone). Her and Refs gave the wrong team points. Nothing was corrected. We have it all on video. They did nothing, and the tournament organizers did nothing to fix the issue.
