I love being a part of this wonderful studio - being able to teach there and share in classes taught by my dear co-teachers from whom I learn so much. Studying yoga for over 40 years and teaching for over 10 years has profoundly changed and enhanced my life. Yoga In The Pines is truly a special place in my life - I love sharing it with as many folks as possible ❤️

Such a cute spot. Just went for the first time for the sound meditation class and I absolutely loved it. It was the first time in a while I was able to shut my brain off and just be present. I am not a huge fan of actual yoga but the meditation class was perfect for me.

My husband and I have attended a SUP Yoga with Megan and a Paint Night with her husband, and had a blast at both! They are so warm and inviting and are very knowledgeable in what they do! We highly recommend Yoga in the Pines and are looking forward to attending more classes soon! :)

Love having a yoga studio in Payson! All the instructors are absolutely wonderful. Love the variety of classes - from gentle to power as well as hot yoga options. Having the option to join via Zoom when traveling is great too. Highly recommend!

UPDATE March 2023: The yoga studio continues to evolve to offer even more for our community well being - it's becoming more than a yoga studio and truly a place for body, mind, and soul. I've been a client of this studio through 3 owners now because the spirit of the place continues to shine and grow as each cultivate it's evolution. Exciting to many of us that this Rim Country region keeps supporting such positive and healthy endeavors!

This is a special yoga studio which has been my go to source for tuning in to my body, mind, and soul throughout 2020 and well into 2021. They Zoomed for me throughout the pandemic and continue to do so when I don't want to make the drive in, making yoga more accessible and helping me be more accountable to my practice. But more than that, the yogis who teach here made me feel welcome immediately and have inspired me to go deeper. The joy and peace I've felt from the classes I've taken at Y in the P make me just want more!
As of July 2021 the studio got renovated and ownership passed smoothly from one yogi to another. It's as warm and welcoming as ever - you feel like you step into a magical space where you're lovingly guided into yourself. The variety and number of classes has increased too so whether you want to really sweat and move or slow down and release, or something in between, there's something for ya. Plus standup paddleboard! So fun, easy, and refreshing (and I don't tend to think of myself of having superb balance).
I told myself for over a decade that regular yoga would probably change my life, but I could never commit and eschewed group exercise of any sort. Trying to create a regular routine with it on my own wasn't happening, so I finally let myself be talked into going to a class at Y in the P, and I've been a regular ever since. So very thankful for these teachers and this studio!

I've taken several chair yoga classes here. I throughly enjoyed the flow of the class and the instructor was awesome. I recommend this class for the elderly like me. I'm 71 and going strong.

Beautiful space. Warm and inviting. Mel is a most dedicated and genuine yogi who sincerely loves what she does and it shows. I have often come into class with stress and a busy mind and Mel knows just what to say and the type of yoga needed to melt the stress away and I always leave feeling better than when I first sat on my mat. I feel as though she connects with all with her spirit as well as her warm personality. I feel so blessed to have found Yoga in the Pines and Mel.

Yoga in the Pines is Payson's one and only studio and is top notch!
The atmosphere is always welcoming, peaceful and energetic.
The classes offered are diverse and cater to any schedule. New management has also expanded classes and offerings as well.
From the day I started going to Y.I.T.P, I've never looked back. I'm grateful for this community in my town.
If you're into yoga even a little it are just curious, check it out!
