This is my second year committed to Yoga Pod at St. Philip’s Plaza, and I can honestly say it’s a real gem for Tucson. The location is lovely, the studio is beautifully designed, always clean, and clearly cared for with pride.
Each class has its own energy — every instructor brings their unique style and genuine love for what they do. They make every session enjoyable, motivating, and appropriately challenging. Even though my schedule only allows for morning and evening classes, I’ve been so impressed by the consistency and quality across all formats — Barre, Yoga Pod Flow, Fit, and Restorative.
The instructors are professional, passionate, and each has a different personality, yet all share the same commitment to creating a positive, supportive space. This studio truly embodies community, wellness, and authenticity.

As a long-time and loyal member of the Yoga Pod community, I was deeply disappointed by my experience. I arrived just one minute late for once and was turned away at the door!
I have been a dedicated member since 2021, I’ve always arrived early, followed all studio guidelines, and shown full respect for the community’s values. I take pride in my discipline, punctuality, and commitment to community standards. But I also believe in compassion and common sense. A single minute’s delay should not outweigh years of loyalty, consistency, and goodwill.
I truly hope Yoga Pod will reflect on how to uphold both structure and kindness within its practice.

Tucson has a good selection of yoga studios and styles for a city its size, and Yoga Pod is a great example of a power/vinyasa studio with a wide variety of class offerings. Tucked away in St. Phillip’s Plaza in the Catalina Foothills area, the space’s layout is seamless, with multiple studio rooms, locker rooms with showers, and plenty of seating, both indoor and outdoor, to cool off after class. I took Stephanie’s vinyasa on 6/11/25 and bought their $49 two-week pass, so I will definitely be back.

I'd been attending classes at Yoga Vida for about 5 years when they closed roughly 5 years ago. As much as I loved it there, I never really looked into other options in Tucson until my wife recommended Yoga Pod last summer in 2024 after hearing good things from co-workers. From my first introduction and tour of the facility back in July, I was impressed. They had a wide variety of classes and times which was crucial for me, and I understand they may even be expanding the facility and schedule even more in the next year or two. The Monday-Wednesday-Friday 6am Hot 26 classes have been just my cup of tea and I thank Alex and Hari Rai for always leading terrific classes and getting me completely hooked again. Brian and Lisa have done a magnificent job with the studio. The facility is always clean and well-appointed and the community of students, staff, and teachers are always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

I have yet to take a class that I do not love. I am always greeted at the front desk. They are always helpful. There are props available for everything. The studio is always clean. And I feel pampered in every way there. When life is stressful, this place embraces you and leaves you feeling relieved and like a new person.

This review is about 4 years overdue but those years have made me realize that all of the other studios I have visited in that time just don’t compare to YogaPod Tucson. I call it my heart studio. Nowhere else have I been able to learn so many different styles of yoga from such amazing teachers. SHIVA with Annie was the class that changed everything for me (I still have cravings for it) and everything with Kumari Sky was absolutely life altering. I have yet to find another instructor who embodies yoga the way that she does. I sadly left Tucson after only a year and it still hurts! I have found a wonderful studio in my new city that I hope to fall in love with, too, but my heart still yearns for YPT!

What a great business!
I'm about as flexible as a 2x4 and can't do a Child's Pose, but I ride my bike a lot. And when I got a flat right in front of this business, not only did the owner lend me a wrench to take my wheel off (I had lent mine to a friend who I am sure is in the process of returning it), he let me use his bathroom to wash my hands and then let me charge my dead-battery bike pump to get me back on the road.
He did all this with a smile on his face and genuine good will. His place is spotless and oozes serenity, and his kind gesture turned a shitty situation into a great, life-affirming experience.
Not that I'm decrepit, but I'm old enough to remember when customer service was still a thing and businesses were in business for people instead of just profits, and this place is simply exemplary.
Well done and thank you and your entire staff, who were friendly, smiling and helpful to a sweaty, dirty, oil-covered cyclist!!!

I came to yoga pod as I thought the hot26 was bikram yoga to find out it’s not bikram yoga .
It was ultimately my fault not checking the class description.
To add , the class itself I went to with the teacher I didn’t care for it . The teacher was doing the class while teaching felt poorly with the instruction given the whole time , I do not recommend going into a class where the teacher is doing the class as well .
This class “hot26” supposed to be 105 degree , it was no way it was this hot in there .
After all the studio looks great , it has everything available for attending a class , and the showers were clean and well equipped for all women needs .

I just attended my first yin yoga session at yoga pod yesterday and I loved it! The teacher and the sound bowls were wonderful! My only critique is that it was very loud outside the door with people leaving the other studio or waiting to get in for a hot yoga class. Maybe what would be better is if there were signs saying "quiet please yoga in session". Otherwise, a great experience.

I have found “ my” yoga studio that meets my requirements in every way. Their instructors are excellent. They offer all kinds of yoga classes throughout the day, including “ Happy Hour Yoga “ where one could drop in to practice yoga at a fraction of the cost but with the exceptional instructors who teach yoga creatively and professionally, Their website is pretty good & the app , Yoga Pod Tucson. is user- friendly. . I am confident to say that that this studio is one of the best yoga studios I have ever been to in my lifetime. Very well run , clean, beautiful studio situated in the heart of the St. Philips Plaza. 💕

In response to Yoga Pod. Brian the owner did not only use a “firmer tone” but also used a threat to tow, which, by the way, I don’t know on what grounds and with what right. It’s St. Phillips Plaza general parking lot for all businesses and their customers. Do better Yoga Pod.

Beautiful facility. Classes offered have different names but are similar in nature (mostly yoga based.) If you're looking for more traditional yoga true to it's origin, I wouldn't recommend it, and I'll leave it at that to avoid being unkind or slandering based on my own preferences. (For reference, I go to Roots, but tried it out in hopes of variety.) Barre class is easy if you want a light workout. Probably would appeal to college students.

When I walked in interested in the studio and offerings available I was pleasantly greeted by the staff. All my questions were answered and I was given a tour of the facility. The amenities are a perk like showers, childcare, and sweat or shower towels, and cubbies for shoes. I like the just visiting option, and the community calendars sharing the latest of what's going on in Tucson. Right across from Ren coffee house....

I decided to check this studio out while on a vacation and I really enjoyed it. They have two studios that fit about 25 people each, showers, childcare, free sweat towels and free shower towels, mats to rent, and for the ladies-they have some of the essentials you may have forgotten in your yoga bag:). Staff is super friendly and instructors were fun, informative, and lighthearted. I took hot flow classes only. They even give you a cool, lavender scented towel at the end of class to wipe your face or mat. Locker area is somewhat small, but shower area and bathroom area is spacious.

Great classes, instructors and location. Class times are not ideal, nothing before 6am and nothing after 7:15pm....makes it really hard for people who work 8am - 6pm and live / work 15 to 20 minutes away....Moved my favorite class to 2pm on a week day...where 3/4 of the class cannot attend.

Been looking for a studio with class options that fit my schedule and yin and restorative offerings. I am not an expert yogi at all and although haven't tried more challenging classes yet felt so welcome and comfortable in the space, all the teachers so far have been absolutely lovely and supportive. The unlimited monthly membership is well worth the money and I look forward to trying out other classes- so many to choose from. I have been coming for almost a year. I first tried the $20 for a week of any of the classes and got totally hooked. I go almost every morning and take a variety of the classes. Some days I take 2 in a row, the Pod Fit then a Hot Flow or Warm Flow. I almost always shower there then go to work, which saves me a good hour in not having to go back home. The facility is just lovely, always clean, wonderfully staffed: both the front desk and the fabulous instructors. The variety of styles of yoga has opened me up to things I'd never tried. I'm hooked and would recommend to anyone at any level. Also, I am 66 years old and finding how much the yoga practice is helping me with the aging process!!!

I have been practicing yoga for some time but hadn't tried hot yoga before last month. My friend convinced me to give hot yoga a try and I'm so glad that I did! The studio is gorgeous, very well maintained, clean and suitable for all practice levels and ages. The staff are genuinely friendly and teachers are knowledgeable and kind. You feel welcome here.
They have 2 lovely studios that teaches a wide range of classes - from hot yoga (of different temperature levels, which is nice because I don't want to be too hot), Yin Yoga, PlayPod (where you bring your kids, so cute!) and more.
I really appreciate that the studio has 2 studio spaces instead of one large room. It seems to avoid massive crowds of people in one room. I think you have a better interaction with your teacher, along with being able to focus in a comfortable space with less people.
I couldn't recommend this place more.. so if you're thinking about it, just go! I'm looking forward to eventually getting a semester pass soon and coming as often as I can!

I have been to Hot Yoga studios all over AZ and this is the nicest one I have been to. The studio has a clean, advantageous layout with two classes going on at any given time in two Yoga rooms. All the teachers I have had thus far are friendly and knowledgeable. I was going to Yoga Vida which unfortunately closed because of COVID, and I'm grateful it led me here. The prices are very reasonable considering you have access to over 65 different classes a week for $129/month membership which is about average for a boutique fitness studio. Let alone one in one of the nicest Plazas in Tucson.
