Owners of this gym left in the middle of the night...no notice to gym members...just cleaned house, locked the doors and fled into the night...never to be seen or heard from again...can you say FLY BY NIGHT?...PERMANENTLY CLOSED AND OUT OF BUSINESS.

This gym closed it doors and shut down over night. Not a word to members. This is the second location to close up without notifying their members that I know of. The first was on Lindsay and Williamsfield! I like their equipment, but closing down a gym without giving notice?!!? Not worth joining, too unreliable

Great and friendly place too get into shape! Swimming pool, sauna, steam room, tanning all for a great price! Watch out when they tell you " No Contracts " and no annual fee! All lies! Read the fine print. The day I joined I didn't bring my glasses..and when asked where is my copy..they didn't provide it that day. Not till they charged my account the Annual fee..when I asked about it they told me it's in the contract you signed..I told them they didn't produce a contract and I wanted a copy of it..I read the so called contract then cancel my membership. L A FITNESS Is and will be my choice for a gym.

Very clean and plenty of equipment to use with no problem of having to wait to use the equipment.

My wife and I have worked out here the last couple years - and love it. The staff are super friendly and work to get to know you.

Place is always super clean and well-kept.

Pricing is extremely affordable with multiple different plan levels available.

The place is pretty popular, but it never feels packed inside. There’s always plenty of equipment and gear to go around for everyone.

We love working out here, and plan on working out here in the future.

Be careful when signing the contract. My wife and I went to Youfit for a while. We decided to get pregnant and she was feeling sick a lot of the time, so we decided to cancel her membership. We moved also and i canceled mine. We had to pay $60 in fees to cancel. They told us when we signed up that there would be no fees to cancel. The guy who signed us up was a bald guy named Matt, and the girl who helped us cancel was Elaine. Very dishonest people. Should have never signed up in the first place.

I loved the cybex machines at this gym and do miss working out on them. I was a member since 2012. However, I got a nasty skin chest infection confirmed by two demo docs and went to cancel my membership. Now I can't prove the infection was from the showers at this gym, but at the time I was using the you fit showers regularly. The manager at the time could care less about the infection and didn't say "sorry" or anything. Maybe he was afraid of a lawsuit? Who knows. Regardless, his attitude was horrible. I recommend staying out of the restroom and extensively wiping down the equipment before use. I have had no problems at another gym.

Gym is becoming more and more dirty. The two young employees are always standing at the front desk gabbing. It's poor management not poor employees!

Super tiny gym. This gym would be good just to get a quick cardio work out on the treadmill or elliptical but other than that I think it would get crowded quick. Their weight room also seemed very limited both in equipment and size. No classes or pool

Not as crowded as some of the other Youfits, a generally friendlier crowd as well. Staff is pretty friendly and always happy when they greet you. Large number of treadmills and elipticals, couple stairmasters, Smith machines, cable machines and all the usual gym machines as well. Very rarely willni have to wait for equipment, even late afternoon.

stay as far away as you can!

It is unclear what type of scam YouFit Health is running, and if they are only targeting senior citizens, but it make absolutely no business sense to charge more for an all-cash up-front annual payment vs having to go through the hassle of setting up and collecting payments monthly.

The local staff was friendly but had obviously been trained in the art of "there is nothing we can do; that's just the way it is". With no skin in the game, they couldn't care less if the victim signs up or not. A request to speak with the not surprisingly absent manager went about as well as trying to deal with the financing department at the local unreputable used car dealer: "let me talk to MY manager and give ou a call right back" followed by 10 minutes of waiting (did he even CALL that manager?) and then the shop-worn "Gosh, i tried everything, but there just isn't anything we can do"

Most businesses will make at least a feeble attempt to bring in a new customer if for nothing else than the perceived goodwill, but YouFit doesn't even seem to make such an attempt. Who can say for sure
how many scams they are running, luring unsuspecting teens and/or senior citizens into making bad financial decision by unnecessarily sharing their personal information -- information which could be used as as the basis for identity fraud (or worse)

Great small quaint gym! The people are just so friendly, awesome front desk staff and great management. The weights go up to 90 lb's unlike planet fitness and I don't need to worry about a "lunk" alarm or free pizza to demolish my gains.

This is a small and basic gym with treadmills, bikes, stair machines, ellipticals, and lifting equipment. It is kept clean. I particularly enjoy that there are TV screens in the treadmills. My main complaint is that when others rip towel hooks off the wall in the restroom, it can take quite some time before it is repaired. I would suggest that they invest in hooks that can be mounted with screws. There is almost always a stall in the restroom that is out of order. Aside from those two things, I keep showing up. It's pretty quiet in the early morning.

The cancellation process is a nightmare. After cancelling once, I was called 3 months later about past due charges. They were charging my account even after I had cancelled. I cancelled again and then got another call the next month saying I owed even more. I could not get a hold of a manager even though I called several times. This issue is still unresolved. My advice is to never join this gym.

Good gym. When it's busy there's not a lot of room in the weight room but it's not impossible to workout. Good selection of machines for both cardio and weightlifting. All the equipment is well managed. Only wish they had a area dedicated to deadlifts. Overall. Nice staff good gym. 10 bucks a month. Way better than planet fitness because I drop a weight if I have to and not have people crying about it and a lunk alarm go off.

This place has been a NIGHTMARE!!! I was excited when I first joined and even hired a coach. The coach was very focused on upper body building and not much else. Trying to set appointments was difficult due to his availability, when he was off I just missed out and was not compensated for the missed session and my sessions were used up for a group class??? But the worst part, trying to cancel the membership. I cancelled and money was taken out, I called and was told it was never cancelled and I had to come back in. I was very upset about this asked for a number for their corporate office and was told there was not one. I was told I would get a call back and never did. I went in AGAIN and cancelled my membership and was charged $10.00 to do so. Then AGAIN I was charged. I called and got nowhere and was told again there is no number for their corporate office. What kind of business is run this way???? I finally had to stop payments and file a fraud complaint with my bank. I will NEVER join another gym thanks to YouFit!!!!!!

AWFUL gym! I have NEVER had such a bad experience with a gym and their billing! They have charged me 280 AFTER I cancelled my membership. I called and told them to not bill me anymore and they assured I was done being billed. Then I got billed another $140!! They are rude too! The managers at the williamsfeild and Lindsay location are horrible!!!

This is a good gym if you're looking for a quick workout and a decent price. I have a couple memberships to other gyms, but I use this one as my go-to for after work or maintenance days. If you're wanting to get in and get out and lose a few pounds, there's a large assortment of all body types and the staff is very friendly. If you're a power lifter, be warned there is no squat rack, only smiths. I would use LA or Gold's for that. Heaviest Dumbbells are 90lb currently.

Never used the personal training, but it seems overpriced for what I see people doing. Their 'circuit station' is great for people who just need a little direction with a timer, etc.

Music is hit or miss. I suggest headphones if you're not a teen girl (usually the style of what is playing).

They have shortened their hours, but I wish they'd open @ 4am for some pre-workday crowds.

TL;DR Good gym for a basic workout and no nonsense atmosphere.

I'm not really sure why there is so much bitching about the cancellation fees. I was told up front what the deal was with the fees and it's why I rejected their month to month plan. If you buy the pre-paid year plan there are no cancellation fees or sign up fees. I got it during the holidays and paid less than $10 a month ($114/yr).

The gym is very well maintained, and I actually like the fact that they just leave me alone and let me workout without the hand holding. I always go in the late morning or early afternoon as it does get busy in during the weekday evenings.

Terrible gym. There is no customer service. They don't train there employees to know what they're selling in there supposed month to month contract. It's not month to month when you have to pay a 30 dollar cancellation fee to end your contract. You continue to get charged even after you cancel and they will NOT refund you. They wont let you read their contract, the employees lie about whats in their contract. They don't care about their customers just what they can get out of your pocket and into theirs.

YouFit is great. But Custom Built Personal Training is not. Admin was horrible. I made three appointments and my trainer only showed up for one. They promised a meal plan, a workout plan, and did none of those. I then wanted to get my money back and was told I had to pay $250 to cancel my contract. Which I thought was ridiculous I thought I should only pay for the session I used and receive any additional payments back. Very unhappy with my experience. I canceled my contract that’s how bad it was. Do not make the same mistake I did and stay away from the CBPT. You fit is great though just not their business partners..
