Terrible location, equipment is old. Also they’ve taken $79.99 out of my account in less then 3 weeks. This isn’t the first time, we currently have a case against them people be warned. This locations manager and another manager haven’t gotten back to me, corporate is ignoring me and my wife, and they are ignoring the better business bureau. Our next step will also be contacting the media. If this ever gets resolved I’ll edit this but the terrible review stands. This isn’t the first time we’ve had to do this and it’s unacceptable.

I cancelled my membership on May 3rd and paid the $10 and they advised it would be cancelled that day and will not be charged. I look today 5/17 and they took out a payment. I called to see why the payment was taken out and they said the membership was never cancelled. Waiting for a manager to call back or I am going to corporate and filing with BBB

This gym is always clean and there are a wide range of machines for me to tryout. All of the machines that I have used have been in good working condition and are perfect for my needs. The people who work there are always polite and friendly and answer any questions I may have.

I didn't feel they cared about my health goals. They didn't tour me but were ready to take my money for membership. Management seemed sluggish, tired, non present, no greeting, good morning, how are you, welcome to YOUFIT. And they were definitely not FIT. That was my first red flag. If they dont care about their weight, (holy smokes, you work in a fitness center!) Or what they look like, how do you expect us to believe you care about us and our fitness goals??? You represent, work for a large FITNESS company. There was nothing FIT about the staff #youfitcactusrd either physically or mentally. Bad Vibes

This is your very basic local gym where people come to exercise, not socialize. I have been going to this gym for 3 years. I stay there because it is very close to my home, it is never crowded so machines I use are almost always available, membership is inexpensive, and it seems clean. The only con I can see is that I notice that they have a complete turnover of staff every few months. Not sure why that is. Not an issue for me, so I will probably renew my membership in a couple of months although a brand new gym opened up down the block on Thunderbird.

this place is horrible. they take your money offer no services. they took my money to cancel all of my services. now almost 2 years later i am told i need to pay a additional 60 for gym membership fees to close. and they are telling my personal trainer was never canceled. so inorder to get them to stop getting harrassed i need to pay 60 dollars and the personal trainer fees.
Yes they are cheap now but wait till you cancel your membership.

At the end of July 2017, my sister went in to YouFit to cancel both her and my memberships. When we first started with this location we were informed that there were no cancellation fees and that all we had to do was bring in a letter informing them we were cancelling. HA! - She was charged 15.00 per account. We were then told that the August payment would still be taken out - but that was all.

This morning when reviewing my checking account I noted that the $19.99 fee from YouFit had again be removed from my account. When I called this location, I spoke with Kyle, he informed me that according to their records no letters were ever received nor the cancellation fee. My sister personally walked the letters in and paid cash. How convenient. He informed me that I needed to come back in and sign forms cancelling and that if I had the receipt or her statement showing she had paid the cancellation fee they would not charge us again. I informed him no matter what when I come there tonight I will not pay any more money to them. I have not used the gym in over 1 year and I will not pay to cancel since they already have collected more money for my non-use. I have copies of the letters we gave them which shows the date and since my sister paid cash it will not show on her statement. I am very disappointed and would not recommend YouFit to anyone.

This gym doesn't let you pause your membership freely. They require you to come in, sign a form, bring in a doctors note and prove you have a medical condition. You can pause your membership for 3 months if you pay them. Youfit sucks. They are more concerned with turning a profit rather than providing quality service.

Great gym, wide range of machines and a large free weight area. Ive with youfit for 4 years and use this location frequently. Staff is always friendly. The negative comments about billing is user error, dont be mad because you didnt read the terms you signed up for. The gym is always clean and well maintained. My only complaint is the dumbells only go up to 90 lbs. I would like a deadlift/power clean rack, but i cant complain with the membership costs. YouFit isnt a muscle head gym, and they only have 3 bench and 2 inclines. This isnt usually an issue outside of 5-6pm and mondays (international chest day). Overall great gym.

Be careful of their auto resign up. I haven't even been in Phoenix for 41/2 years and I'm still getting charged. I've called and asked very politely to cancel my membership and they want to charge me more money for canceling plus I have to send them a registered letter. Really? You can see that after I initially signed up I went only twice maybe and then I was transferred out of state. I'm in a small rural town. Going to the post office isn't as easy as it is for most. Why can't they just stop!! Money that's why!

The sign out front is a lie, they claim it's month to month. You pay first and last month's fees up front and charge you a cancelation fee. I got a nonsense excuse about card processing fees.

Watch out for your free personal training session. It's really just the hook for where they really make their money, $400 / month training. Skip the training if you want to be spared a sales pitch.

It's a good place to go work out and cost and cleanliness is ok. They could use some more equipment because sometimes all the benches are all being used and you have to wait to get one for free weights. My biggest issue is the lack of friendliness and customer service. Most of the time they seem to be to bothered to even say good morning or even acknowledge that you are leaving with have a good day! I own a business and customer service is my number one priority.

I absolutely love love love this gym. The staff is always so welcoming and they always encourage me to do my very best. I love Kimberly she is so sweet and kind and having my nutrition consultation with her was seriously so inspiring! ☺️ If I had the means to afford a personal trainer it would be her! I am so absolutely frustrated and dissapointed in the service I have recieved on behalf of my mother that I feel the need to express myself on every public outlet for others to see and be warned.

I signed up for the membership for my mother who is battling with health issues that desperately require her to exercise to ease her pain. I told the rep that I would be responsible for paying the monthly membership fee and that she could pay for any additional services she wanted.

My mother signed up for a personal trainer and was to pay $90 every two weeks. Well the 1st time they charged her over $100 and within 2 weeks following that, she paid an additional $180 and just 2 days later they charged my account for $90 which overdrew my account and caused my bank to charge me a $35 overdraft fee that was not returned. I was left unable to purchase gas to get to work and all I received was a "It's not my fault, its how our billing is set up" and an apology that really meant nothing.

Almost a week later $90 was refunded to my account which really wasnt $90 because I was still charged the overdraft fee from my bank.

Then today, my mother went in and was told she owed $180 dollars not even one week later!!!!😠😠😠Not only did it stress my mother, but it embarrassed her to the point where she no longer wants to go to that gym. I called and spoke with the rep who signed us up and he didn't care at all. I spoke with the General Manager there and she was frustrated but also said she would contact my mother to assure her it would be taken care of yet didn't call her.

"I'm sorry" isn't enough. Its a clean, inexpensive gym, but the customer service sucks, and at this point I don't feel that our business is valued or welcomed and I don't recommend this type of treatment to ANYONE.

Been going to this gym for a little while now probably a year and the staff has sexually harassed my girlfriend multiple times the most recent situation was a front desk employee by the name of victor talked to my gf and when she turned around he pretended to squeeze on her ass and make sexual gestures ,after filing a complaint and trying to talk to authority they had a personal trainer talk to me instead of my lady and tell me they told the guy not to do it again!!!! The amount of disrespect had been taken is crazy and they offered us no support!!!! Further action will be taken. We have no room to tolerate such behavior in a professional environment and now the gym membership is worth nothing to be there and feel uncomfortable while lifting. Very poor service. I do not recommend this gym to anyone!!!
