I would like to highly recommend the Youfit on 32nd Street and Shea. The front desk is extremely friendly when you come in. The facilities are always clean and the the personal coach (in my case Brad Baier) very through on your physical condition and what you hope to achieve. Brad even has worked out an exercise program to strengthen my core (per my doctor) but incorporate my kayak and hiking goals. I had challenges for him in a recent injury to my knee and bruised back from a fall on Santa Cruz Island earlier. But he designed exercises that worked around the injuries and coming up on a week after I began the program have improvements in both injuries. Thanks Brad Baier and the staff at Youfit on 32nd Street & Shea. You have won another customer.

I am honestly getting pretty frustrated with my gym. I have been at Youfit for almost a year and a half. The first year went really well-and I re-signed for another year contract. This year, when I go to the gym at 5am (which is when they first open) there has been multiple times where no one is there and it is closed. I did not say anything the first time or two but it happened again today. I really don't write reviews let alone bad ones. I let things go and barely ever complain because I understand that things happen. However, this is starting to happen way too often. :( It is hard enough getting myself out of bed that early to make sure I get my workout in before work and it is beyond frustrating to get there and not being able to work out! I left a good review a while ago but things are starting to feel like they are going downhill unfortunately.

It would be nice if there were paper towels to wipe down the equipment! Today is the third day that I know of with one roll of paper towels for the whole gym.From talking to another member I learned that this has been going on since last Friday. This is NOT a good thing to have happen during flu and cold season. Plus the whole gym looks dirty. I hope you can pick up your game or I will be looking for somewhere to workout.

Once again nobody is here to open the gym at the 32nd Street and Shea location.

Update 04/07/19: The staffing issues at this location has not changed. Employees that open up the business during the week tend to show up either right at opening, late, or not at all. It is sad to see the amount of patrons waiting in the parking lot in their cars for employees to show up on a recurring basis. This past week of 04-01-19 has led me to cancel my membership.

Youfit policy is to charge a $10 cancellation fee but I would like to think that somewhere in there business plan it states that it is policy to open the business during there given hours of operation.

Brought my Daughter in as a guest for a one time workout. Because I wasn't a so called Lime Member they wanted me to pay $10 on the spot just to workout for @ an hour. So she was turned away had to leave then drive back to pick me up. Now the gym will lose myself and wife as fulltime members and my daughter as a possible member as well . She was not impressed. I asked to cancel my membership. The employee had me sign the paperwork and told me the last day I was paid through. Two months later I start getting past due notifications. Turns out, the employee did not cancel my membership, he signed me up for the lower cost plan. I called customer service, and they told me I needed to "get current" with my bill first and then physically go to the location to cancel again.

I work out at the Phoenix You Fit on 32nd Street. While I was working out today, I noticed a woman working with a trainer. She had compression stockings on and was just getting back to exercise, you could tell. I watched the trainer be so kind and encouraging, and even support her physically as she got on and off machines to be sure that she was safe.

Afterwards, I asked for his name at the front desk.

So, kudos to Justin Miller for his caring attentive service to his clients.His exemplary treatment of clients deserves to be acknowledged.

I just can't afford the $40 annual fee and $15 monthly fee for something I don't use. I wish they would realize they already got me for a couple years and me only showing up once a month or less. It's just not for me and I want out. How can a business not let me just cancel and go on my way without having to pay more. Absolutely horrible customer service. Tried fora week to talk to the manager and was always told he was busy. Then I sent an email and have never heard back. I called today and was told he will be out the next few days. I was also told by Amy on the phone yesterday that if I signed up online at home that I wouldn't have to pay an initial fee so I called today and Gears told me that there is always a $39 sign up fee. Until recently I really liked this place. The problem arose the past two nights where I was going in at around 10pm and was being harassed by two teenagers who workout there. They get done with their workout and hang out at the front desk with the woman who works there. They hang out and talk for about two hours. When I have left the past few nights they make crude comments to me. Tonight one of them followed me out the door and yelled something at me. I couldn't hear what he said because of my headphones, but it sounded very abrasive. The woman who works there seems to think it's funny. I will be talking to management tomorrow about the situation.

I would give it five stars however my only complaint is there is more cardio equipment than necessary and the free weight are is smaller than it should be. Even at peak hours the cardio equipment is nowhere near full and the free weights are packed. Staff is friendly and I never feel intimidated working out here.

Had a very difficult experience with this place. I called to cancel when I was unable to attend anymore due to having to leave town to take care of an ill family member. I was informed that I had to come into the facility to cancel and then I also had to be charged to cancel both of which I was not informed of when I signed up. So I paid for a month and I was not even in town and I had to pay to cancel and I was informed that the person that signed me up maybe didn't explain these things yet I was held accountable for their employees mistakes. I hate feeling deceived.
