The young lady that helped me was very nice and professional. She knew immediately that she had never done my particular type of an admission so she calmly but immediately sent a request for a video chat for help and I was armed with the info that she needed and that made it easier for her too. She did excellent in my opinion.

What is great for a low income household? A gym subscription for 60 a month for 2 people, then with a undisclosed quarterly fee of 100 dollars that left me and my man struggling to buy gas. At no point do they warn you of this fee and I have accepted I will not extend this subscription as the several hundred dollars I've spent to use their treadmills can be better spent on a home treadmill.

The office is supposed to be open at 10am, it never is. I told the office manager I would be in today to pay my bill because it didn't get automatically deducted. He never told me no one would be there to take a payment. I also wanted to cancel my membership, you can only do this with the manager. You can not cancel on line or over the phone. But, they will set you up a new auto pay over the phone.

I have been trying for months (going on #5 now) to cancel my membership. The on-hand staff are great, but the company that manages payments are terrible. They want me to sign a form, but I am unable to make it in to sign it in person, and any email request to have it sent to me through something like Docusign is left in the dark, with no response whatsoever. I have sent several emails trying to follow up, all with no answer. Extremely frustrating to deal with, and all the while they keep attempting to charge me.

The rating is not a reflection of the gym space or the employees. It is bc this is a greedy, scheming, money-hungry company that takes advantage of its customers (and employees too honestly. I remember complaints employees would make about how little they make while they're instructed to sell expensive plans to customers that they don't need.) Anyway DO NOT GET A MEMBERSHIP HERE IF YOU THINK YOU MIGHT EVER WANT TO CANCEL IT. It is damn near impossible and they drag it out as long as possible to leach as much money as they can. ALSO your fees are drafted twice/month. So I was told the fee was $28 which wasn't bad. Didn't realize that was only for half the freaking month. Another slimy way of misleading customers and probably hoping to make extra money on extra late fees. The worst gym experience I've ever had. 0/10. Do not go here. Do not sign their contract for the love of God.

I recently got a membership here. It’s been great so far. Very simple to get set up. Elisa is wonderful. She’s a great manager and answered all the questions I had and didn’t rush through anything. It’s always so clean and has so many different options for fitness. I’m very satisfied with my decision to join.

I just started going to this gym and I love it! They have great equipment, it's clean, everyone's friendly, and it smells good(which is hard to do for most gyms). I love that they offer free tanning, wifi and bi weekly scan ins. My favorite gym so far!

To piggyback off of another recent review of having problems with customer service regarding membership cancellation. Completed my membership contract and called and left two voicemails the day off contract ending to ensure I’d have time to cancel my voicemails were specific of wanting to cancel membership and asking for a callback to find out what was needed to complete this. No return call to me. Fast forward to today- called and was able to get employee on the line. Was told that I have to come in and it takes 30 days to process the cancellation!!! Excuses if they were busy and are working overtime and were too busy to call me back! WOW!!!! Wouldn’t give contact info of anyone that would be able to resolve this TODAY!

I don't normally leave bad reviews, but I am at a complete loss. I've tried to reach through calling to talk to anyone about my memebership.
I moved states (no longer in Arkansas) and have not been able to cancel my memebership for close to 2 years. I've talked to a previous manager here and they told me they shut off Auto-renewal, but the time has passed and I'm still getting charged! Same with customer service.
I plan to call this establishment Monday again.
If this can get fixed or I can get in contact with a manager, I would happily change my review.

I have been going to Anytime Fitness for many years now and had never seen anyone using a mop. I was there for 2 hours this afternoon, and during the entire time the new manager, Elisa, was busy cleaning and mopping. She is quite a breath of fresh air, and she wants to create the best gym experience in all of Mountain Home. I believe she will succeed doing it!

Got a membership after graduating high school. Decent gym with a couple regulars to chat with. However, I moved to Fayetteville for college in the Fall of 2022. My contract went up, and they did not notify me whatsoever. They continued pulling from my account without so much as an email or text message. When I finally noticed it on my account summary and called them, they gave me a huge run around. Saying I could not cancel over the phone, even with all my account information on hand, and that I would have to show up at the Mountain Home Anytime Fitness during staffed hours in order to cancel. How am I supposed to do that working full-time during the summer or going to school during the fall? They aren’t staffed on the weekends, so even when I was visiting family it would be impossible. They proceeded to ghost/quiet-blacklist my number. Haven’t been able to get ahold of them since the first call a couple months ago. No sense of ethics or responsibility towards their members. I could not continue to afford the cost while attending college and living on my own. Absolutely ridiculous, and I am thoroughly fed up with this gym. The only way to cancel your membership is to call your bank and place a stop payment on them. Do not waste your time or money on this place.

This gym is really nice and the staff is awesome but I moved in March and notified them providing proof in February to cancel my membership and I’m receiving harassment calls and emails from main gym saying they are sending me to collections! I’ve called the gym and the headquarters and nobody has resolved this issue for me. Main branch says the local gym needs to handle it but there has been no response. Very frustrated. Don’t know how one ever cancels this gym after signing up because I followed their directions but they refuse to let me go! There is no anytime fitness within 200 miles of where I now live!!

I joined Anytime Fitness about a year ago in Mountain Home. I can say that from the first day I walked into the gym until today my life has changed...and for the better. Every single staff member at that location have been amazing....Tim, Laura, David, and Hannah are exceptional at what they do. I highly recommend this gym to anyone..people new to the gym on up to experienced "gym rats." I am forever grateful to them all...especially Hannah who has been my trainer for several months. It has been a wonderful journey.

Got a membership in March of 2022 didn’t end up using it ever but let them take the money out every 2 weeks was 37.99 and before the year was up I sent emails and called the office 100 times for the last 3 months and left multiple voicemails and they said they’d get back to me never did and once the year was up they re enrolled me for another year when I know they’ve heard my voicemails makin it clear I did not have the money and wanted it cancelled once the year was up so I just went into the office and got it cancelled but they’re gonna continue to take another 72 dollars out I am furious!

When it comes time to sign up they give you great customer service but when you want to cancel or inquire about your membership they go completely ghost. Went in multiple times around 1-2 pm and no one is there. Called and no answers, emailed and no answers. Being the only main gym in this small town you would think there would be a sense of pride to deliver good customer service but I guess not.

This place is a joke. I canceled my membership with a physicians order and was still charged $38.xx for yearly "gym maintenance" and have to pay 30 days membership. If you are canceling because of a medical issue there should be no more fees. All this place cares about is making that mighty dollar. They don't care about YOU.

Visitor from out of state here. Got a 2 week pass for 40 bucks. I wish they had daily fees instead, for people out of town or cut the price in half for 2 weeks. Locals get a 7 day free pass wich is great. Small gym but good vibe. Check it out !

I give it 5 Stars for Anytime Fitness. I never went to that gym before since i was only just a teenager and high school. The last time before i went to Anytime Fitness was 20 Years ago. I was only 14 when i arrived in not just Fitness Room. But Weightlifting Room next to that Clean Basketball Gymnasium as long as i won't step on that rounded blue floor. That is exactly what my former coach warns those kids about not to. I like going to that gym since High School but it was fun for me. But unfortunately. I am no longer in High School's Gym and that made me sad. But the good news is 20 Years later i am ready to enter Anytime Fitness. So that's all about where I'm going before I moved away to the apartment. And I am not giving up either.

High pressure here. I wanted to go but lost my job during the trial so I asked to cancel for now with the impression that I would get a refund for my membership fee and my training sessions that were prepaid. Wrong. They didn't give the training fees back but said I could use later. Thing is I almost had to yell at the trainer and the head honcho cause they don't want u to quit. I ended up paying 110 for training but instead that bought me 3 workouts in the gym by myself during my free trial. I'll keep away from this place and u can keep the money cause I know you will.

I visited this gym as a guest of the Hampton Inn. Really liked the gym. It is on the smaller side but has all the space you need to do any exercise work you need to do. The staff was helpful given the fact I could not get the door to operate correctly. I am sure if i lived in the area I would choose this location for my fitness needs.
