Routes change regularly. Yoga classes available. Small gym available. Plenty of auto belay routes, belay routes, bouldering cave. Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location.

Staff is really nice and helpful and I really like climbing here. It's a tad pricey, but definitely worth it if you love climbing. They've got bouldering, high walls, and more.
It's clean, and they've got some snacks and drinks you can pay for too if you forget some yourself.
Very nice place, I've always had a good time.

Great experience at Climbing in Bentonville, Ar. We were greeted upon walking in by friendly, knowledgeable and eager to help staff. They had a great entrance with lots of climbing merchandise to purchase. Being from another climb gym and in the area for just a day we purchased their day pass. They tested us out on top rope etc and we got to work climbing. They had tons of routes and options from top rope, lead to auto belay. They also had a very impressive bouldering area. I really liked that they had a permanent crack climb! They had a fairly large weight gym that seemed really well organised, clean and had nice equipment. We’d definitely come back if in the area again!

We took our kids to Climb for the first time, and they had a blast! Once we saw them having fun, my husband and I had to join in. There are various climbing walls for all skill levels, and we stuck to the beginner area with the auto-belay system. Parents should know that younger kids need help clipping and unclipping the carabiner. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was great. A fantastic spot for a fun, active family outingβ€”we’ll definitely be back!

There isn’t really anything negative about this gym other than the cost. Anywhere else this is a $40/mo gym. Unfortunately they can charge whatever they would like being the only gym in Bentonville having lead routes and ropes. Other than that the bouldering area leaves something to be desired for $90/mo. The ropes and bouldering area is just too small for the cost.

I’ve taken my 6-year-old son here several times, and he loved it. If you have young kids, you’ll need to stay with them to help lock/unlock their carabiner. One suggestion is to improve the management. I noticed young employees working while their friends were hanging out and lounging on chairs meant for customers.

We had such a great experience! We have been associated with the climb community for many years, but this was the first time we brought our children! No qualms with the place just not enough boulders. The setting is pretty sparse.

Source: Google

β˜… 3

The setting is pretty good in the bouldering area. It's just small and the rating method is a little odd. It's a clean gym but when if you are there for just the day and to boulder we had to do an auto belay check and some other things even when we had no plans on using them. That said, it wasted some of our time having to do those.

Wow it’s sad to see how this place is poorly run by absent management that seems to make all the wrong decisions. I have had a membership at this gym since before it opened its doors to the public. Pre covid the gym was amazing! The culture was good for both climbers and families, there was a kids area that brought in party’s and business, but the big walls and bouldering area were set well for real climbers. The hours for members started at 6am which was great because we could get a work out in before work. However the Nashville based management and ownership seems to want to drive this place into the ground. They gutted the kids area, in exchange for a kilter board, when there is plenty of open space above the bouldering area that is completely unused (subsequently killing the kids parties which brought in money). They have gotten rid of the auto belays on the 50ft walls, making solo rope climbing less enjoyable. They have turned over staff at the gym more times than I can count because they aren’t willing to pay people and ask to much of them, and then blame the local management. They have changed the member hours to start at 9am rather than 6. Meaning if you want to climb or lift before work this isn’t the place to do it. The member hours are from 9-12. Which is pretty useless for 90% of working adults and school aged kids (aka YOUR MEMBERS), so why would I pay for a membership. This gym is almost a perfect example of how to take a business that should be killing it in its given market, and ruin it! Looks like it’s time to go become a boulder and brews member, they open at 7am (what a concept)! Also for those of you who are curious I left a 5 start review on this business back in either 2019 or 2020 because it genuinely was one of the best gyms I had ever climbed at, I can’t even begin to explain how different it is. I think the only thing that keeps this gym going right now is the awesome group of setters, and the location.

Several drawbacks to the gym. Due to the restrictive hours and small space the gym becomes overly crowded in the afternoons with several youth climbing clubs dominating the space. The weight lifting space is also very limited and does not provide any machines and limited free weights. The gym would be worth the price if it were open earlier in the morning to accommodate patrons who want to work out in the morning before work. (does not open until 9am).

this gym is my first experience with climbing so i can't compare it to anything else, but what i can say is i enjoy it for what it is.

the price of membership is steep compared to other gyms in the area but that isn't as much of a problem for me.

what bothers me the most is the limited auto belay section that is constantly crowded with kids/parents.

i have witnessed toddlers running unattended and trying to climb a wall unclipped underneath active climbers, kids and parents standing directly beneath me when i’m ready to come down, the entire section being taken up by 10+ kids at a time, (there are only 9 ropes on auto belay) etc.

on top of that, they hold kids birthday parties near the auto belay that fills the entire area. so if you’re a solo climber and happen to come during the weekend, spring break, or a party time, you’re out of luck if you want to do auto belay.

i really wish they had a kids section or a section specifically for the parties because i pay a LOT of money to get the leftovers on auto belay or just have to leave when the gym is swarmed with kids or parties, because i prefer not to climb with a bunch of little ones running and yelling and playing beneath me.

Bought day passes online for daddy/ daughter day. But when we arrived they have taken down all of the fun things for kids to do. There's one spot with auto belays for kids, but there was a birthday party taking up that entire space. We left without being able to climb. $50 down the drain.

Four because the kids loved it. Staff congregates at the front desk chatting while people are standing around waiting for instruction, and if you ask one of the five standing around for help they tell you it will be ten to twenty minutes before anyone can help. Occasionally saw a staff member hanging out in the climbing area for a couple minutes and then they would leave and go chat with their coworkers at the front again, still while people are standing around waiting for help. The one person who was helping everyone, he was very nice and professional.

The route setting here is pretty good. Nice spread of beginner to expert stuff with lots of different styles. The problems come with the price and the route rating system.

Climb Bentonville is pretty expensive, either for a day pass or for a membership. Other climbing gyms in the area charge around 65% of their prices and do just fine.

Also, the route ratings are pretty inconsistent and ambiguous. For top-rope, some 5.11s felt great for me while others felt impossible.

The bouldering area is where the ratings get really bad though - they use one symbol to denote anything from a V1 to a V3, which is a huge gap. Being on the V4 plateau and not being able to tell where something lies on a V3-V5 spectrum is pretty draining. This has gotten both slightly better and slightly worse over time. The first time I went, every route had one of these symbols. The symbols themselves were confusing, but they were all there. The last time I went, about half the routes were explicitly marked with a V-scale rating, which was nice, but the other half had empty colored cards just marking the starts, which was even worse.

That being said, the materials are high quality, the staff are generally kind, patient, and safety-oriented, and the community around the place seems pretty solid. The ratings take some getting used to, but if you're willing to burn a bit of a hole in your pocket, it's a nice place.

I recently had my first climbing experience here. The front-desk staff were nice. If you don't do it in advance and are new, you have to watch a quick video and sign a waiver; then they give you a harness and climbing shoes, and you go suit-up before receiving an orientation lesson. (There is a cubby area near the bathrooms where you can store your stuff.) The very tall young man who led my orientation was friendly, made conversation, and put me at ease.

I was there with friends who are familiar with climbing, so that helped make my experience even better-- they belayed for me, but anyone can do the belay class during one's visit so that you can belay a partner. If you are visiting solo, there's still lots to do! There are several auto-belay routes upstairs where you can climb without a belay partner.

There's also a bouldering area downstairs, which is where you don't use a harness at all and just climb, and on bouldering, they teach you how to fall backwards onto the soft landings below if ever you couldn't climb back down.

I did the easy routes both downstairs and upstairs, and it was a lot of fun!

They also have a regular gym area for weight lifting and other exercises. There are a couple water bottle filling stations near that area.

Great place! I would have a membership if I lived in NWA!

β˜… 5

Awesome facility. Lots of variety in route difficulty any everything from bouldering to top rope and auto belay. If you have kids under 13 it would be best to have at least one adult for 1-2 kids because even the auto belay will keep you busy hooking up harnesses. Overall I was very happy with our first visit. We arrived shortly after opening and it was noticeably busier than usual due to a holiday. The staff was excellent and were obviously doing their best to manage the extra workload. Keenan seemed to be everyone all at once and was very professional and very considerate. He truly wanted to ensure that everyone had an amazing experience, and we did! Loraine was also very helpful when someone needed assistance with belaying. She jumped right in and not only shared her knowledge but was empathetic and uplifting. Overall great staff, great facility and great routes!

Not impressed at all! We had our daughters birthday party there this weekend. The kids liked climbing but the unprofessional staff made it no fun! They were all sitting on the floor on their phones when we walked in and we were standing at the desk waiting to check in while they were talking. They were not super helpful with getting the kids situated and when we asked for a trash bag for wrapping paper and other trash we were told to β€œjust use the trash can by the climbing wall”. I had honestly never been in there before, normally my daughters dad takes her and to be honest I have no desire to ever go back.

Started out well, I came in with my normal climbing group. We are members of a gym in Fort Smith and lead climb outdoors religiously.

I thought the lead cert went well. The anchors are different from any we've used indoors, and the manager explained we don't need opposed gates and gave us our cards.

The first route my climber did had bolts but no quickdraws. At our gym, we have bolted routes to use our own gear. There was no sign, and it wasn't gone over in our certification, so we climbed it and got halfway before the employees stopped us. We corrected it, no harm, no foul.
We lead a few routes, toproped a few harder climbs, and really enjoyed ourselves. Blue 5.11+ on the slabby wall was bomber, btw.

When we were getting our gear together, our instructor was telling other patrons how we tried to climb with our own draws, "You think you wouldn't have to tell people these things." And "I did their lead test earlier, and they did ok."

So, climbing was pretty good, but with the unprofessional manager, I probably won't come back anytime soon. I'd planned to buy another pair of La Sportivas tonight, but I decided I'll pick them up somewhere else.

Overall, roped climbs are cool, but beware the employees could talk trash behind your back.

Enjoy the photo of me popping off the slab.

I was a big fan of this place when I got my membership a few months ago but I am starting to notice some breakdown in the gym’s operations. There are normally 3-4 staff working at/near the front desk but they can’t be bothered to check me in until they’ve completed outfitted large groups of people which can take 15-20 minutes and this happens even when there are multiple people at the front desk and they aren’t all actively working. There either needs to be a separate line for membership check ins or a way to self check in. The second thing I’m noticing is the gym area is obviously not being cleaned - there are large layers of dust under most of the equipment. I hate leaving this type of review but the busier this place gets the worse the service and there are easy fixes here.

Cons:
- limited autobelay (and the autobelay section is swarmed with children)
- they let anyone belay after a quick lesson (witnessed some extremely concerning belay technique during my visit)
- lifeless energy
- weird grading system (why does no one use the V scale anymore??)
- very vague tour. i thought maybe the tour they took me on was shorter because they knew i already had climbing experience, but i overheard many parents expressing that they didn’t know what the rules were in the facility.
- overall felt like safety precautions were lacking
- looks like if ikea was a climbing gym

Pros:
- great retail selection
- tension board with adjustable angle 😻
- nice spray wall
- they have coconut redbull 😼

I honestly didn’t have the best time here. It’s such a wonderful facility though that could be great with a few improvements!

Super bummed. My kids used to really enjoy going to Climb a handfull of times a year. They could spend hours on all the different walls. They had an abundance of routes available for kids and auto belay. Not anymore, only one section available for kids/auto belay with 9 ropes. Took the kids 30 minutes to get board of the few options available to them. If your kids are not 13 and enjoy belaying you may reconsider Climb Bentonville. Just not the place it used to be for kids and non experienced climbers.

I will no longer recommend Climb for kid birthday parties for the following:
1. ~3 weeks ago they removed ALL the themed walls for kids - so the bones, arcade looking kiddie walls are GONE
2. They also removed the city towers that kids could walk up and then jump from
3. About two years ago they removed the platform jump to grab a punching bag
4. After all these removals they replaced this section with boulder walls that require an age of 13+
5. What is left for kids? 9 or 10 walls they can climb AND the walls are NOT reserved for just your party.
6. They also do not allow the party to split for more advanced kids who want to go downstairs - unless a parent is trained on belay.
7. The party staff at hand isn’t great about helping kids clip in and out - so guest parents better be ready to step in and help.
All this is not worth the hefty price you pay for a party. Two years ago this place was amazing for parties. January 2023 still pretty great for parties. Today? I’d spend my green elsewhere.

Climb last year was a wonderful place for our now 7 year old. Unfortunately now with all the changes it isn’t as kid friendly.
I still think it is amazing for teenagers and up I just wish they would warn you about all the changes that happened this year with the renovations. Tons of the β€œkid friendly” things were replaced with 13+ Boulder walls. So if there are more than a dozen young kids it’s not great.

This is one of the best things to do in NWA. If you live here or are just visiting this climbing gym is hands down the best I’ve visited. This is my home gym and home here multiple times a week. Their route setters are changing things up continually and have every level of difficulty covered. They have a great numbered of both auto belays, top ropes and lead climbing routes. The boulder room is amazing also. This is a place for young and old can come and have a great time. I promise you will surprise yourself at how much you can do!

We had loved climb bentonville and are frequent goers until an awful experience today ): we went with 7 kids and went through intro as most had never been and were from out of town, walked up stairs to find that the left side is under Reno and the right auto belay area had a class going so no where specifically for children to climb (all 7 children were under 13, 6-13) We were NOT informed when we checked in/bought tickets about the class going or the Reno, and would have been fine with just the right. I am pregnant and we only had two adults. (2 adults able to help for 7 kiddos doesn’t make a lot of sense obviously) we walked straight back down to the front desk without climbing anywhere and asked if we could get a refund as obviously this didn’t make a lot of sense, again was NEVER informed that both sides weren’t available and was told that can’t be done? Really disappointed in the transparency of the front desk and incompetency to solve an issue. I would have given 5 stars up until this awful experience because we had loved climb until today.

It took well over an hour to get checked in and oriented to the autos. This was quite the wait with a 3 and 7 year old. I suggest having an employee who can do orientation and another employee who can run the register. They seemed like they were extremely understaffed because we had to wait till there were no more people checking in to be oriented. Other than that, it was a fun climbing gym.

We had my sons birthday party here and it turned out to be a great time but there are definitely some logistics that need to be adjusted. Everything seemed a bit unorganized. The party's are scheduled back to back and unfortunately in my case the other party had not cleared by the time it was our party time and we were left with no time to set up before guests arrived. The workers are very kind but I had never hosted a party there before and they did not do a great job informing me on the process. After all of my party guests were harnessed by the staff and well in to climbing they informed me I should have everyone come down because they forgot to do an intro class with them. I suggest if you have a party here to keep it fairly small. If you enjoy throwing parties and decorating I would suggest accounting for the set up time on your invites. It says they offer 15 minutes for set up but that is simply not the case. I wish I had known this myself! Overall we had a good time but like I said it seemed very unorganized and hectic on their part and the staff seemed a bit untrained for birthday parties.

It was so much fun when I went for a family get together we all climbed and and tons of fun it is so easy to get blay surtified and if you are 13 or older you can take a quick 2 minute lesson on bouldering and if 11 or younger there are about a 15 min class on it to get surtified to Boulder it is a great hangout oh and there is a kids section with easy climbs and towers to climb ND a game wall with a game climb like tetras and a maze and a t-rex climb sadly they got rid of the crane hopefully they get something new to play on and I want to go again with my friends

Nice enough gym. Fun, creative route-setting. However, a little more expensive than other similar gyms I've been to, but hey not much competition in the area so I guess they can set the price. I did talk to some employees and found out they only get paid $11 an hour. That seems insanely low for the level of responsibility they have in ensuring a safe climbing environment (I think Taco Bell starts at $15). I mean, how many Audis do the owner's need? No trying to be a jerk, it just seems like they are taking advantage of the kids that work there, and definitely not passing on any of that discount, that's all. But again, it's a nice gym and the routes are pretty darn good.

Attended a child's birthday part at this facility, it was a lot of fun! There was a separate room for the party itself. The room had a window wall looking out on a climbing area. The party goers could party, climb, & watch others climb. The facility had a warm & friendly reception desk that was prompt to greet as well as staffed adequately enough to be able to show guests to the party room. There was an elevator as well as stairs to access upper levels, a lot of parking, & easy access off a main thoroughfare. Seemed easy enough to find once I got there, getting there was impeded by bad directions on the maps program - who'd think it be subject to such a technical difficulty this far into the 21st century?! Having once found it, tho, finding it again should be simple.

Climb Bentonville is a great location for beginner and experienced climbers alike. The staff walk new climbers through the entire gym and explain anything that you would need to know. As climbing gyms go, it is fairly priced and a location I have visited more than once. I would recommend this for anyone who thinks they are up to the challenge
