Great place over all except the pool. We have been here a couple times and They are constantly complaining about something and hovering over the swimmers

This is worse then the public pool across the road the life guard kept harassing me and my gf because we played around and rested when we got tired

Nice facility. Utilizing existing school buildings and adding new areas. Good place to go with varied opportunities. 👍

The pool itself is nice. The issue is with the staff. I've been there 4 or 5 times since they've opened and there's almost always at least one negative interaction with the staff. Today, while paying I was told I couldn't bring in one of my kid's water toys that I have brought every time.
Right off the bat my kid decided to do a belly flop for some reason and an older lifeguard scolded him telling him he can't dive off the side, etc etc. I'm pretty sure a belly flop isn't a dive. It irritated me but I didn't say anything.
Then I witnessed an "incident" where a very young girl, maybe 4 years old or so, goes to jump off the diving board wearing if I remember correctly a life jacket AND arm floaties. The lifeguard nearby starts yelling to get her attention saying she can't jump, etc, she's too young. Well the girl didn't hear her and jumped anyway. With her father right there watching her. She jumped and swam to the side easily and without incident, but the lifeguard berated the father. I was about ten feet away but couldn't make out what he was saying, however he wasn't shouting and he clearly wasn't happy. He grabbed his two kids and left. The supervisor came up to talk to the lifeguard and then she left and came back with the police officer that I guess is stationed there as he has his own parking spot. So if you argue with the lifeguard you get the cops called on you. Nice.
They shut the pool down early due to a storm which is fine but as me and my son are gathering our things and drying off the supervisor comes up to us and says "I need you to exit the pool area. Now" I said "okay" grabbed our things and left. Now I did have multiple interactions with that supervisor which were fine, however the last one was disrespectful and unnecessary. We were already in the process of leaving. Just not quick enough, I guess.
Like, I paid to be there. There are certain expectations as a paying customer which is to be treated with respect. Not talked down to. Yes the rules are to be followed. All pools have rules. No running, etc. But there is something wrong with the culture at this place and we will not be going back.

Definitely don't give a membership. They tell you your kids can swim and then they want them to take a swimming class. Pay them all money. This place is BS. Don't recommend it

I wish it was easier to get from the check-in counter to the walking track and that it wasn't necessary to go all the way back to the check-in counter to leave.

Our family love this place, the aquatic center is our favorite. They have pool for smaller kids, senior area/therapy pool, family, lap swimming for good workout and a diving board which is fun for older kids. Facilities are clean and friendly staff, such a blessing to the community!

My grandson and I have gone here for quite some time. The only reason why we continued to go up until today is because my grandson really enjoys all of the different activities.
Today I witnessed multiple lifeguards bullying a certain couples children. Two different lifeguards yelled at these kids multiple times. They didn’t just get onto the kids or redirect them. They yelled at them.
I sat close to this couple throughout the day and witnessed their frustrations with the lack of humanity from the staff. They were watching their children and there was no need for as much intervention that happened today. The mother even pulled her kids out of the pool for timeouts a couple of times. She was very involved in what was going on around her!
At one point, I stepped out towards the Dressing rooms and the lifeguard that the mother eventually confronted was even Gossiping to another coworker about the children being brats and not listening. She called the parents lowlifes stated that they weren’t watching the kids.
These kids were simply just trying to be kids today and have fun and unfortunately, the rude and ignorant staff had to ruin that for them.
I understand that rules need to be enforced however, there were multiple things that were not listed on the rule board that these lifeguards were getting onto their children about. They couldn’t even walk up steps for Christ sake without “taking too long”
There were other kids doing the exact same things these innocent children were doing but nothing was said to them.
The whole day carried on like this up until the mother finally got up and went to talk to her crying daughter. Her daughter stated that the lifeguard said that their family was not allowed in the diving board area because the child almost “drowned.” This child’s head was above water and she was 4 foot from the latter swimming to it! I believe the staff was looking for a reason to cause a show.
I watched the lifeguard walk up to the mother and heard the mother stand up for her children as she should have! The supervisor rushed over and got in the mother’s face and a verbal argument broke out.
I am so glad that the mother stood up for her children and shame on this business for allowing all of these young girls to treat children the way they do. NO ONE should be yelling at anyone’s kids that do not belong to them. I hope this girl learned her lesson today!
To the mother, if you see this I have recording of the end of the conversation the staff member had with her coworker about your children and you and your spouse and will be willing to share it if needed! You can email me here and I will give you my number!
DO BETTER!!!!!!

My 3 & 5yo love going to swim here! The kiddie pool is a nice size for plenty of kids to play and splash. The playroom is also fun to play in as well! We go to the playroom first then to the pool. The water temperature has been warm & typically feels comfortable. There was a couple of times that it seemed a little chilly but it was extremely cold outside. This place is always a hit for our kiddos!!

A great experience. There are three indoor pools, all under a roof that opens up. There is a beautiful Olympic-size pool, a shallow pool with play equipment for the little ones, and a therapeutic pool for exercise by 16 and older customers.

My family loves the creekside community center. I am happy that our community has this resource for the people of Harrison and the surrounding area. All the activities and aquatic center are great!

Terrible experience at this place. Went for a volleyball tournament. Staff was rude to players and parents, yelling at them for sitting on the track and then in an empty gym while waiting to play next game. The city of Harrison living up to its poor reputation.

This is a fantastic place for kids and families. There is a swimming pool with a kiddie area. A game room with ping pong, pool and shuffle board plus board games and a video game room. There are also a few basketball courts and pickle ball courts and a walking track. Very fun place with great staff!

This is an excellent facility. The indoor track is the best. Workout equipment needs to be added and there’s plenty of additional space to do so.The health needs of the community outweigh any gym owners that are adverse to competition because most of the people coming to the community center would not join a gym anyways. The staff at the front desk are usually friendly. I hope it only gets better congratulations to the people responsible for this project!! GOOD JOB!

They have a awesome pool but they need to add workout equipment to one of the offices and the basketball courts need to not have windows shining the sun and you can’t see the goal but everything else was good

Went to the aquatics center today and it was disappointing. The facilities are beautiful and clean but my family and I had several issues.
The kiddy pool is a great idea and fun but it is on the cold side, the kids kept shivering. The other issue is the location. It is right next to the therapy pool- a smaller sized slightly warmer pool that absolutely no one under the age of 16 is allowed in. The senior citizens that were in it would yell at any child that got within a foot of the edge.
Several lifeguards were on duty which is great. The atmosphere is nothing like the outdoor city pool. One of the lifeguards was moderately pleasant the other 3 seemed angry they had to be there and acted rude. They enforced several non posted rules. Part way through our visit the diving board closed and the lifeguard said they didn't have enough staff to have it open but a lifeguard was sitting by it and they only had 25-30 people in the building. I do appreciate having a diving board-they can be so fun.
The locker room is unheated and cold. The showers get almost luke warm and the shower curtains are not large enough to cover the openings to the stalls. They have good counter space and hooks to hang a towel on which is nice.

What a blessing this community center is to the community! This center gives our children a place to go that is safe, clean, and fun year round! The prices are fair and I hope they stay as such so everyone can continue to enjoy this place!

Ample parking. Quick scan at entrance desk. I primarily use the therapy pool. Never crowded. Not as hot as thermal but warmer than Olympic size pool. Always a lifeguard nearby. Friendly staff. Large changing/bathroom. Enjoyable experience!

This community center has been in the works for awhile and was looking forward to the therapy pool the most and sadly it was EXTREMELY underwhelming. Most lukewarm therapy pool I've ever experienced, they should just call it a "pool" with the temp plus being huge for some reason? It should have been half the size so the kiddy area could be larger, who the heck designed this? Everything else does seem fine as I'm glad they found a good way to use the space where the old school was but this negative was just too disappointing for me
Also don't expect any workout equipment as there was none available, including the walking track
