Today was my first time visiting this gym and I had a superb experience. I wasn't a member, so I had to get a day pass- and even though there wasnt staff at the desk, I was easily able to text the number provided. Someone responded within seconds to get me fully setup online. Astounding customer service!

The gym was also spotless, had many unique machines I had never seen before ,and had a dedicated photoroom to top it all off. While working out, I ended up striking a conversation with Vincent, an employee. He wasn't even on the clock yet but took the time to show me around answer quesitons, and made me feel welcome. Even the other gym members were extremley uplifting and respectful. You can tell it's a close-knit and welcoming community.

Later, my car wouldn't start, so I went looking for jumper cables. No one had any-except Vincent, who grabbed it from his personal vehicle. An absolute lifesaver.
This is definantly a well-equipped gym with great people. I will definantly be coming back. Thanks again, Vincent!

I’ve been going to Elm Street for a while now and the one time Ross showed up was the one time I had a bad day at the gym. It was going great until Ross got mad at some random guy for just asking to change the music, to be honest the music wasn’t great so props to the guy that asked. Ross then decided to ruin everyone else’s day by starting arguments with other people, it might be the roid rage.

I’ve been going to Elm Street for a couple of months now. I enjoy the laidback and welcoming environment. Ross the owner is charismatic and makes you feel at home. I decided I needed a personal trainer and Rachel is amazing- I’m so happy I made that decision. My favorite aspect of the gym and reason I joined is the sauna, it’s a good size and such a relaxing way to warm the muscles. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a gym.

At first, I was in love with this gym, after they started billing me like crazy and took my access away, it was when we started having issues. I tried multiple times fixing any problems and going to the gym to find someone to help me be there was never no one and I never got the help I needed to get the matter resolved and still to this day they have to audacity to still keep on billing me. Stopped into this gym for a couple days while my gym was closed due to bad weather. Great place to workout and they had a good selection of free weights. Loved that they had multiple squat racks and places for pull ups. Love the 24 hour access and I now have a solid backup if my gym closes.

I used to be a member at Elm street when they first opened. Unfortunately had to move and relocate gyms and I still miss it. With ESG being a 24hr facility I still like to visit on the on holidays. Was looking to try a new gym due to my current one being over-crowded and extremely difficult to get a workout done at times… Found Elm Street and was VERY happy with my experience. I’ve visited twice now and will be returning. The owner made it very easy to obtain a day pass and responds promptly. Clean/working equipment, a lot of space, hours are great as I am a working mom, and the posing room was great to capture my progress.

I see a lot of good reviews and ratings for this gym here, and indeed, the gym is excellent: plenty of space for workouts, all the necessary equipment, and it’s never too crowded at any time of day. If I were to rate it based solely on the gym itself, I’d give it 4 stars, as there’s always room for improvement, and compared to other modern gyms with state-of-the-art equipment, a rating of 4 is well-deserved.

But there are issues that raised red flags for me and led me to leave this gym.

First: when I asked the gym owner if the filter for the drinking fountain near the restrooms had been changed, he responded that he didn’t even know there was a filter that needed changing (so I don’t recommend drinking from that fountain, as I can only imagine the water quality). But that’s not the main point. When I mentioned to the owner that fountains like these usually have a meter to monitor water quality and notify when the filter needs to be changed, he told me that he could order all the necessary parts, and I could replace it myself. I was a bit shocked by this response and asked if he really meant that, and he confirmed he was serious. Then he said that for him, it was more important to make money selling bottled water from his fridge than to ensure the quality of the drinking fountain water.

In this situation, I was taken aback by two things: 1. The owner cared more about making money wherever possible without considering feedback or recommendations; 2. He was comfortable suggesting his client personally fix something in his gym if they didn’t like it.

Second: One day at the gym, I saw a flyer with new lower membership prices. That same day, I happened to see the owner again, so I decided to ask him about these prices: Are these new rates for current gym members? He replied: No, those are prices for new members joining within a certain time frame. I responded: I think it’s a bit unfair to long-term members, who are loyal and have been paying more for membership than those who are just now joining. The owner then called me a “ASSHOLE” (and I’m not exaggerating), saying I didn’t understand that he, as a business owner, was trying to survive in the tough business climate, losing gym members.

At that moment, I really couldn’t understand how a businessman could call a customer—a paying member—such a word. Maybe the owner was having a bad day, or perhaps he was going through a rough period; I don’t know. That’s why I initially didn’t want to write this review. But having received no apology or clarification of the situation after several months, I decided to share this.

I initially had a great relationship with the owner when I first started attending the gym. I would never have thought this could happen, and I’m sure many of you also have a great relationship with him, as he seems like a kind, responsive, and pleasant person.

I’ve been going to this gym for a little over a year and love it. The gym has the right amounts of the right kind of equipment rather than 1,000 treadmills and one squat rack so I’m always able to get my workouts in without having to wait on others to finish their sets. Everyone at the gym seems nice and the gym is clean and almost never crowded. I also love that they are extremely prompt rectifying any equipment issues and frequently are adding new equipment! I’ve tried several gyms in the area and this is the best option for those looking to focus and get their workout in 😌

I love that there is a great gym option on this side of Springdale. I was new to the gym world when I started coming in December and the small size and atmosphere at Elm Street made it easy to get acclimated.
