Since 1985 we have been providing gymnastics and tumbling instruction for children ages 14 months thru 18 years. We employ highly experienced instructors and teach in a positive manner. The OWNERs son Daniel at Flame Gymnastics Academy left my 9 yr old crying in the office today during gymnastics class.he went and got her out of class in front of everybody and made her sit in the office. She was bawling crying!! Last week at class I had forgotten my wallet and told them that I would be paying up both my girls tuition fees. ( my 3 yr old goes and my 9 year old) I even called today ahead of time telling them that I would be making payment in full today and that they would be in class.my husband was in the tot class the entire time with our toddler, he could of went in there & talk to him n got the payment if it was a rush till I got back . οΏΌ I was going to run over to play it again sports to grab the girls soccer shoes while hub & our toddler did her class. Tot class is only 30 minutes and our 9 yr old is a 50 minute class. I went to the front desk and told the lady in the office I was running over to play it again sports and that my husband was in the toddler class with our toddler and that as soon as I got back, I was going to be making the payment( she was busy with another client or I would have just paid right then )οΏΌWhen I got back to make the payment I go up to the office and my 9 year old is sitting in the office in a chair, bawling crying! I asked him why she was there, and he told me due to nonpayment. He went and got her out of her class & made her sit in officeοΏΌ with him! And hubby was there in the toddler class he could have went in there and talked to him and got the payment if it was that much of a rush! οΏΌHe told me it was βbusinessβ I own a business as well and I would not ever treat a child that way!! οΏΌ Had her sitting in the office, as if I was not going to pay!? like why would I even bring them to class if I was not going to pay? Completely pathetic and so coldhearted!! We was so mad when he seen her crying! She would have still had 20 minutes of class left but we took her and left. I will not ever return there. My girl is so talented in gymnastics. She has competed all over and wins First place at almost every competition sheβs been to ( she competed in van buren for years we just moved to flame months ago when we moved to ft smith ) She is always so excited to go to gymnastics and got her heart broke today by Daniel the owners son at flame! We have enrolled them both at a different gymnastics place! οΏΌitβs their loss because our baby girl is so so talented. Like I said I own a business myself and would never not pay this was completely crazy. Also Iβve never seen this man before and neither has my daughter so she was scared also.

I attended classes at Flame when I was a little girl. Taking my daughter to her first class tonight was surreal. The instructor was incredibly patient and professional with the easily distracted class and my overly excited daughter. I can't wait to see what all she learns!

Mr. Daniel was an excellent instructor for my four-year-old's initial swimming lessons. He was patient and kind. We gained a lot from the eight-session course and enjoyed mingling with other kids.

Flame is the place to go for Gymnastics in Fort Smith area!
My family has been going to Flame since 2018 and we have experienced nothing but positive! Classes we've participated in include: tiny tots/mom & me class, preschool class, and recreational classes from white level all the way up to competitive. We have also participated in several years of swim lessons during the summer. Every single Gymnastics coach and swim instructor have been absolutely amazing! They are all great with the kids (and even the parents), taking their time to help each child feel comfortable and ensures they get individual help when needed for certain skills. My kids all love going to Gymnastics practice and have never had a bad time there, ever. It is an open gymnasium, so parents (or grandparents) can watch their child the entire practice!!
My only negative is that the facility tends to be dusty and dirty and I really wish they had better seating available for the parents to watch their child, especially in the front section of the gym.

My daughter took swimming class here. They were the only ones around that i could find. They did a wonderful job. My daughter is a great swimmer now at 5yrs old. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone with children.

My daughter has taken gymnastics since she was two. We love the coaches, the facility and the way they teach. They are always professional and encouraging. We also take summer swim lessons there and the swim instructors helped our daughter feel confident in the pool.

If you live in the greater Fort Smith area and are looking for a place for your child to learn gymnastics, tumbling or even Parkour, this is the place you need to be. We've taken our children here for the past two years and have had a wonderful experience. Currently, we have one child in competitive gymnastics and another in the developmental gymnastics. The staff are knowledgeable, kind, and great with the athletes.
