I was not expecting the place to be as friendly and quality as it was! Excellent greeting from the front desk. The desk attendant was lovely and she explained the facility to us with a well practiced ease that comes from mastery. My only gripe, a very small one, was that my youngest son was not allowed in the hot tub since 104° degrees is not the optimal temperature to sous vide a small man. Live and learn! Highly recommended.

Very friendly employees with a variety of group classes. The swimming pool was uncrowded. I saw a jacuzzi and did not check it out. Locker rooms clean. Other patrons were polite. There's a walking trap on the upper floor. I used the free weights a little bit and none of the machines. There are a couple of nice big mirrors so you can check your form. Parking lot next to the center can get congested, but there are contiguous parking lots with a lot more space that I would recommend using to avoid pedestrian traffic. I would patronize again.

The pool is wonderful and the locker rooms have a lot of amenities. If you do not come often, the lockers are on a fee schedule, so that gets tricky. But the fitness center has a lot to offer and really friendly staff.

I absolutely love the incentive that I’ve received at the Hart Center!
The first three classes on the early am schedule provide the best balance of fun and healthy exercise along with an excellent family oriented atmosphere among group peers!
I haven’t been able to find another fitness center that quite matches in comparison to the Hart Center since I’ve relocated away from Fairfield Bay.

Besides the grumpy front desk lady, Amy, this place looked nice...but my kids didn't want to come back after she snapped at them. So, can't give a complete review, just a "first impressions" review. I have worked front desk positions for years and she could've been a little kinder in how she reacted to my kids.

I joined The Hart Center after spending two days exercising there. It has a big Olympic sized swimming pool, hot tub and sauna, a good sized exercise room and basketball court. The membership fee is reasonable.

Today I had to cancel our family membership at the Hart Center, I am disgusted on how the management (D) handled a member that continuously harassed both myself and other members. The initial event happened when a member yelled at me in the pool area, stating that the pool is his and that I shouldn’t swim when he was in the pool. There were others in the area that stated they have complained to management about him in the past and nothing was done. I went to the front desk and complained and he knew exactly who I was talking about and said that he would talk to him and if it happened again, he would cancel his membership. From that point on I did everything in my power to avoid him but when he and I were in the pool area he would stare at me while I was walking around the pool and swimming. I finally felt so uncomfortable that I wanted to talk to the manager. Dave and I watched the video and he agreed that the member was staring at me and would bring it up at their meeting. After the meeting, Dave completely changed his story and told me, a female member, that he couldn’t do anything based on how I was feeling. This is complete unprofessional and unacceptable.

On a short vacation, we decided to check out the amenities that was included in our stay. The kids were excited to swim and get in the Hot Tub at The Heart Center. When we entered there was an older blondish hair lady with glasses at the check in counter talking to some man (the entire time we were there). It was 3:10 and we were told the pool and hot tub was already closed. When we asked about playing Basketball Ball the older lady at the counter turned around, rolled her eyes and said “I need a vacation”. It’s a nice place however, the older lady needs a permanent vacation….. The front desk lady name is Marissa.

A great gym and definitely the largest and most equipped in the area! It is also very very clean, which is a plus. They have classes and equipment for everyone, at every age. I go for the yoga with Kai, but I've also heard great things about the other classes like P90X and aquacise. A great gym and complete fitness center!

The weight lifting area is really nice- they have the old school metal plate weights and the staff is really nice. They've got plenty of cardio machines, cable machines, free weights, benches, and a separate room for yoga. Other amenities include a large swimming pool, a hot tub, and a sauna - all kept very clean.

I love this gym I have Silver Sneakers and they do a program the people are wonderful! They have aerobics classes on Friday aqua classes on Tuesday and Thursday. Just hope they get the spin dryer fixed so our bathing suits get dry. Like their lap pool , dry sauna and jacuzzi. I only wish they had a steam room in the women locker rooms. This would make this gym 5 stars.

Unbelievable place! Indoor pool...indoor hot tub...sauna room....very nice dressing rooms...indoor walking track...somewhere around 20 lift stations...TVs....all kinds of classes...indoor pickleball courts! When I take my visiting friends and family there they are always shocked that Fairfield Bay has that nice or a facility!
