I love the gym the owner was very nice in helpful when I can for information.In she told me exactly what to do, the gym is very clean in a bathrooms 🚻 In they have very clean shower

This is the gym. If you are in the Hot Springs area and are serious about lifting, THIS is the spot you are looking for. Old school barbell look and feel, all Texas power bar barbells, 24/7 access, and very friendly community. Stop looking

Great little gym with 24 hr access, and a very affordable and convenient 7 day membership option I was able to utilize, with easy registration and payment on the website.

The club down the road only offered a 10 pass minimum option for $150.

This used to be a great gym to go to but it’s nothing like it is as you see on this pictures they have little to no room for anyone to workout without feeling cramped.

The place lived up to its name. At 5am there were 5 other people working out... still plenty of room. Not a big chain gym, this is an "old school" gym (with a very loud audio system... hope you like heavy metal or have good earbuds). Don't be intimidated though, people are friendly, but mostly focused on their workouts... not a single person around making videos. If you're just visiting Hot Springs make this your go to gym (there's some cardio equipment too, but mostly iron). They have daily $10 rates and a $25 weekly rate ($35 monthly or an annual rate of you're here for awhile). The office has regular hours, but you can use your phone as a key to get into the gym anytime (except maybe the 1 hour in the middle of the day they have listed for cleaning). Hands down, this gym is going to be my best memory from Hot Springs. If Heavy Metal gym was in my hometown, I'd be a lifetime member. Heck, if I were passing through I'd arrange my stops so that I could visit this gym again. I came, I worked out, I got the t-shirt. My complaints, well, 1. It's not in my hometown 2. The t-shirt has the gym name but doesn't say Hot Springs Arkansas 3. No Smith machine... but other than that, a nearly perfect gym. By the way, this gym is attached to a physical therapy office... more independent gyms should do that. Have to add... there is a Smith Machine... so I guess this gym is perfect.

Great spot, especially if you’re only in town for a couple of days. Hot Springs Health and Fitness turned me away because I wasn’t with a member, even though their website states $20 and you can have access. I paid half that for each day at Heavy Metal and even though the office was closed, the kind lady on the phone remotely let me in on the second day when my Bluetooth was acting up. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town. I’d steer clean of Hot Springs Health and Fitness, they don’t want your money.

Stopped by a few weeks ago on a day pass. Signing up online was quick and easy. Rate was affordable and I could gain access off-hours using an app.

They had everything I needed for my powerlifting workout-several racks, a deadlift platform. Lots of dumbbells and some other weight machines.

This is the place where monsters and strong humans will be made. This community supports the bodybuilding and powerlifting groups and do it like no one else in the region is. Awesome selections of Arsenal, Rogue, DynaVec, Texas Strength among others. You can tell there was thought and care put into the selection of apparatuses Heavy Metal has complied. Can't wait to smash all the PRs and blow out the seams on all my jeans because of this place!

This place has literally changed my life. I am healthier than I've ever been thanks to Albert's patience and dedication to me in this facility. It has everything I need to go from nerdy Hunchback of Notre Dame, to nerdy Jafar with Iago on my shoulder. Highly recommended.

Quite possibly the nicest gym I’ve ever been to!! Tons of powerlifting equipment and accessories (I love their swiss bar and benches!!) along with all the bodybuilding stuff you could ask for!!! And the atmosphere is incredible

Was in the area for work and bought a week pass. Awesome gym with everything any lifter needs! Affordable and highly recommend for all in area. Deadlift platforms, squat racks, fat bench, machines/DB’s and other good stuff. Also a nice cardio section upstairs.

On a side note, I accidentally left my weightlifting belt here and the owner was kind enough to mail it back to me!
