Very nice facility, the staff are very friendly. They have alot of machines, free weights, as well as a cardio track, and a pool. They also have classes that are included if your a member. Sometimes it can get a little busy, I prefer to go in the early mornings so I usually don't have any issues.

In my opinion Marvin Altman is still #1 They have the most, plus medical attention all around if it's needed. who else has a Pool, big Hot tub, and a Sauna too, to swet the rest of it off. I just stopped in for pricing. I walk here takes me less 15 minutes to get here. 8 blocks. Check them out, I'm joining, come with me.

I’ll say to cancel your membership even after your contract has ended you have to show up in person and physically sign or they will keep charging you monthly.

Honestly, the gym deserves 5 stars but Kristi Tibbett is beyond rude. I call just to let them know that I cannot physically make it in to do that because of work and how I should go about closing the account. Kristi loved to tell me they would just keep charging me until I took a day off to get there! Imagine being so rude you make a 5 star gym a 1 star!

Great gym. It's always clean with plenty of workout equipment. They offer personal training as well. I only give 3 stars because they had some older lady working the front who got rude with me and then because I forgot my card which was never a problem before she wanted to break my contract that didn't expire til beginning of May and make me pay for a day pass. Sadly I won't be coming back, I found a far more friendly environment to workout in. All it takes is for 1 rude employee to tarnish an amazing gym.

Went in to get a membership and the lady at the front desk was EXTREMELY rude. I was asking for membership details and she answered everything so rude and told me I couldn’t get certain things. I went in with the intentions of having a new gym but walked out without a membership. I forgot to ask for her name but she’s an older skinny white female with short hair. I have just started going there. I have a Medicare Advantage policy that pays for some health/gym programs. I am still working, so I go at night or the weekend. They have numerous weight machines, treadmills, bike machines, swimming pool, and whirlpools. If you can go in the day time, they have several exercise classes and programs. I like it very much.

I went to this gym for about 3-4 months (had to temporarily stop because my kiddo is home for summer break) but I will most certainly be back. I went 4-5 days a week and without fail the staff was always so friendly, including the trainers, and all of their equipment was clean and orderly. Going to the gym can be a daunting experience, especially if you’re new to it, and even more so when you’re a woman. In many gyms I’ve gone to I’ve had unwanted and uncomfortable situations with other members and not one time going to this gym was I ever
made to feel uncomfortable. The amenities are fantastic with an indoor pool, saunas, and hot tubs to help with recovery.

The one and only flaw I’ve noticed in this gym is that they don’t have a mirror on the wall near the free weights to be able to check your form, but they do have them in the private rooms usually used for group classes (but I’ve never been at a time where one wasn’t open) and that is a very small compromise I’m happy to make.

I called before coming to your establishment to ensure it was an open pool for swimming and was told "yes". My assistant took my 3 children and her 2 children to swim at 1:05 and by 1:32 they were told to leave. They were not rude or disrespectful to the lane walkers and were interacting with some of the elderly in the pool. One woman in particular complained and they were asked to leave after 27 minutes. We were not offered a refund and only offered a receipt to return at 7pm to 8pm tonight for family swim. If you are not an open pool to the public or restricted, please do not present yourself as such. Also, the fact you kept our payment after your blunder, speaks volumes to the kind of business you are running.

I visited the gym today while traveling from Pennsylvania for work. This is a great place. Very nice big gym space with quality free weights, machines and cardio equipment. One of the women working there is rude. I understand closing at 9, but to walk in there at 8:50 and say “we’re closed” with an attitude is unnecessary. I know what time the gym closes. I would understand if it was like maybe 8:57 and I was still there, but to go in there at 8:50 and tell me that the gym is closed with a hateful attitude is not okay.

This gym is an incredible place to get into premiere physical health. It offers a good variety of classes ranging from yoga to dance to navy seal physical training. It is very spacious offering a large number of cardiovascular machines and muscle building equipment both resistance and free weights available. I personally enjoy the large heated pool the hot whirlpool and the extremely hot sauna most of all. The locker rooms are amazingly clean with quick dry machines for drying your swim trunks instantaneously and the showers have great smelling shampoo and conditioners that will leave your hair feeling exquisite. Priced at 40$ a mo th for one person is still a great deal but sign up with a partner and each pay only 25$ a piece.

Very old equipment. One new cable machine and a double sided power rack in over a decade is all that's modern. No specialty barbells and the barbells they have are of low quality. They do have a sauna and whirlpool otherwise 1 star. They are clean but membership is $52/month have you have to have a year contract. $99 to cancel contract early. Most people get a 15%-%30 discount which would be $44 - $36/month. This is very expensive compared to the other local facilities. So unless you cannot live without a sauna you should look elsewhere.

Not a good place for heated pool therapy. They have a section for that in their indoor pool with ramp so I was excited at the possibility. They charge more than other places for this in town but the people seemed friendly, it had a ramp rather than a lift that is hard to obtain and they said it was heated satisfactorily for physician required pool therapy. I explained my neurodegenerative condition. The pool is not heated adequately per heated PT therapy standards for anyone with a condition that would actually require it not just prefer it including arthritis, neurodegenerative, connective tissue disorders, muscle spasms, etc. so it caused me severe muscle spasming and joint subluxations that required weeks to recover from. I expressed this concern and was told the heater was temporarily malfunctioning and was now fixed. So I tried again. Same result, weeks to recover and be able to get out of bed. I asked for a refund from the manager. Was told I would get a full refund considering the extenuating circumstances. Only received a partial refund and they said they charged me for two months I had membership. Only had membership for month and a half and all that time except 3 thirty min visits to the pool were spent in bed recovering from the damage the pool did to me. Very disappointed that they promised a full refund and then didn't deliver. Very disappointed I spent hundreds of dollars on this expensive lesson that the local hospital gym does not support my need to do medical heated pool therapy to reduce my muscle atrophy. I guess they don't keep it heated enough-90 degrees is what it should be-because of the swimmers on the other side of the same pool but they do not represent that upfront. I went there to save money because I didn't have the money for daily PT copays especially when I can't even do enough to warrant a physical therapist and instead lost a bunch of money I didn't have getting hurt. The only good I will say is it's good they have a ramp although watch out at the end of the ramp where it connects to the pool there is a large lip that I tripped on all three times which also hurt me. Also good is the people are friendly there but in the end, not helpful enough.

The classes were great but when it was time to cancel, they added a fee to my account. They couldnt give me a reason as to the late fee. They claimed it was payment related but would not accept anything from the bank showing that the payment was never declined in order to waive it. This payment had been on auto draft and had never had an issue. The manager behind the desk simply said that it didn't matter because even if it was an error they do not waive the $25 fee they gave me. They simply don't do that. Very disappointed at the way they handled this. After completing my year,I went ahead and paid the full amount just to end it today.

Once again, the classes were great when I attended but the unexplainable, doesn't matter if it was our error attitude really stuck with me. I dont like surprise fees, especially when i am told that i can prove my innocence but the fee stays.
