I took my first class here today! I did the Sunrise Cycle + Praise with Shelby. Shelby, along with the rest of the class, was so sweet and encouraging- this was out of my comfort zone but I am so glad I took the step to try it out because I will be back.

Today was my first class, I did strength. I will Definitely say I always THOUGHT I was in shape until I took this class. Absolutely loved it. I love sweating while I workout and Madi was awesome. I love that there is childcare as well.

(Update) have been going to McClure Fitness for about 4 months now. I am still so pleased with what I have seen thus far. I lack the motivation to go to the gym myself and have liked having someone teach me.
Pros:
(x) I feel very valued as a member which is so important as a POC
(x) Guided workouts each class which has helped me w/ accountability, form, motivation, etc.
(X) motivating challenges, seasonally
(x) Staff have taken the time to learn the correct way to pronounce my name. I appreciate that.
(x) Varying workout times and classes for a busy schedule like mine.
(x) Easy communication w/ the owner, Marietta via phone
(X) childcare while working out is a BONUS!! Childcare is not for all classes but most. I usually go to evening, which has childcare.
Cons:
(x) parking can sometimes be a struggle but that's just because the gym is popular. Also I have learned that if you get there earlier (15-20 minutes before class) parking is wayy better
(x) diversity in staff

I have been going to MF since November and I do not have one regret. Hands down, the best gym around town - really the best gym EVER! The instructors will push you, and the community is great. Super clean gym and there are several different class options you can take. Ranging from bootcamp, strength classes, yoga, spin, pilates, etc. (Even offers free child care) MF is a place like no other!

Absolutely love this place! MF has really helped me learn my body and embrace my fitness journey no matter what stage I am in. I have been coming to MF for over 3 years and every year just keeps getting better and better. The instructors are well informed on fitness no matter what level you are at the owner makes herself known by being interactive with people, taking classes as well as teaching them. There is NO gym like this. I've been back at McClure for 2 years now. After trying multiple "cheaper" gyms, I kept coming back to McClure for the accountability that group fitness brings. It has been a game changer for me and getting my health and body back! I've lost 60 lbs and have kept it off. I am so thankful to have met people who I now call friends who hold me accountable to show up. This place has become my second home. All the instructors are amazing. It doesn’t matter where you are in your fitness journey. You will always leave feeling 1000 times better physically and mentally.

My favorite class is spin. When I started, I loved that it was in the dark. I felt like no one could see me, and I got a good workout in. I love the loud music and the atmosphere in the room. Spin reminded me of my competition cheer days. There is always something you can work on, even if it's turning the knob. My next favorite class is barre. It hits all the small muscles.

I’ve been working out at MF for over a year now, and I still have the same excitement I had when I first started. I remember thinking, I wish I could be fitter and more confident about the way I look. After having 3 kids, and gaining a lot of weight, I didn’t think I’ll be able to get in shape again, but I was wrong. I’ve lost 25+ lbs and feel stronger, physically and mentally. FREE Daycare is also a plus, every time we pull to the gym’s parking lot, my toddler says, “Yay, we’re home!” And I’m so grateful to know that she’s well taken care of while I work on taking care of myself. Instructors are awesome and friendly and classes are so much.

Absolutely love coming to this gym!! Step class with Carrie, Pam and Bridgette is my favorite! Bootcamps with Marietta, Shannon, Aaron or Angeleah are always spot on and lift gives you all the strength confidence! I never feel intimidated, I'm so focused on getting my own workout in and doing my best no one else exists! McClure fitness has been the answer to my prayers. As someone who use to be extremely active, starting over after giving birth to my son has been my biggest challenge. Everyone has been extremely welcoming and encouraging. One thing that stands out to me the most is how many of the instructors remind us daily that being active isn't just about the physical. When you focus on being discipline regarding healthy eating habits and being active it pours into other areas of your life!! Once I discovered they offered daycare services I was SOLD!!!!!

We are a military family. We retired and moved home three years ago. I had memberships at three different gyms. (I absolutely could not stay motivated to keep going)
searching for that same workout I had in Killeen Texas our last duty station. I didn’t think it was possible until I signed up at McClure fitness.

McClure Fitness is the place to be! They won’t let you quit! I do the online classes while I take the Spin and Hip-Hop Cardio at the gym! However, just a tip, take the intro to Spin class first before you book your first REAL Spin class. The lights and music paired with that rush you get on the bike is AMAZING! I absolutely love the trainer Aaryn!! If I’m being honest, she makes the class feel like a church service, you’ll leave changed!!! Also, you won’t regret taking that Hip-Hop Cardio class with Angeleah either, for those club vibes!

I began going to McClure Fitness this January. I started the 12 week challenge program and it has been a life saver for me! I now workout 5-6 times a week and actually enjoy it! The 5am classes rock, even thought it’s not always easy getting up at 4:30! The instructors constantly encourage you and remind you of why you got up early! I was a “PF’er” for about a year-barely walking on the treadmill or elliptical once maybe twice a week. Soon I started to just go to that gym to tan and use the massage chairs.

When I finally decided to change I went to McClure at the suggestion of my neighbor. Wow. I walked in to my first class so so out of shape and nervous. I was quickly recognized as a newbie and welcomed. At the end I was heavily encouraged to come back and given all kinds of praise.

So I came back for a second class-Barre again. The instructor, Carol kept an eye on me and gave me special modifications for my low fitness level and nudges of “c’mon Whitney, give me two more!” She already knew my name and was right beside me pushing me! I was in tears at how hard it was for me but also because someone was had an interest in keeping me going. Wow. I’d pay way more than $12 a class for that! Carol also knew just the right moment to tell me, “no one has ever died here, you are not going to die! Keep going!” I laughed because she read my mind and simultaneously tore down a mental roadblock for me.

To give you an idea of how life-changing this interaction was-If I had a baby I’d probably want to name her Carol! 🤣

As I began to mentally prepare for my husband to be overseas for a year, I knew something I wanted to do for myself was lose some weight while he was gone. I started looking up info for all the gyms in my area, and McClure Fitness stood out. Y’all, they offer free childcare while you exercise!! As a mom of two small boys, this was a game changer. I didn’t have the guilt of asking grandparents or friends to help watch them so I could exercise.

As I was trying to muster up the courage to go, I saw they were going to begin a 12 week weight loss challenge. With my husbands leave schedule, he was to be home 2 weeks after the challenge ended. So I put on my big girls pants and signed up. To say I was nervous is an understatement. I was so out of my comfort zone. But let me tell you, it has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Exercise is now a part of my routine. I lost 31 lbs during the challenge and that was such an accomplishment, but there is so much more than that. Highly recommend! And someone will watch your kids!!

It’s a whole community of encouraging, dedicated, strong people - all sharing the goal to do something GOOD for themselves.
I was so lost after losing my dad and grandpa in the same year, all while trying to be a stay-at-home mom to my young child. This place has been a game changer for my mental health & also my body! I heard about McClure fitness from A friend. I kept seeing her videos and posts. I recently had started a Fitness Journey of my own. I never would image seeing myself in a fitness place of any kind. I just have never been that person. Never really had a interest in Working out! I took my first Spin Class and I was HOOKED. I know I know… they say you can’t say that till after you have taken at least 4 classes. GUYS😍 I JUST can’t say enough about Marietta MCClure and what she has built. McClure fitness is a BEAUTIFUL, AMAZING place. Every single one of the instructors are Just phenomenal! When I started this journey over 6 months ago. I was so unhappy with my body. I couldn’t stand looking in the mirror back at myself!!! 😕 Ashamed of taking pictures with anyone. If I did I would save them to my phone and look back and hate them. In the past 6 months I have learned to LOVE my body. I LOVE working out. Im not that person anymore that’s ashamed of her body. Ashamed or scared for people to see my body. Wearing baggy clothes to hide myself!!! Today I am proud of my fitness journey and who I’m becoming.

I have met so many LOVING PEOPLE going through journeys of their own. Marietta Mcclure says ”Hard Work Pays off” Each day I’m fighting to become A BETTER VERSION of myself!!! McClure Fitness has not only transformed my viewpoint on working out, but more importantly group fitness in itself. The instructors at McClure are top notch. They’re real people who, instead of just instructing, actually do the work with you. You see them sweat. You hear them breathe heavy. And you’ll soon realize they’re investing in you as a person. My first time at McClure fitness I was so nervous because I’m at the biggest weight I’ve ever been! I have now booked several new classes that I’m so excited to try! I was so nervous I would be judged but the ladies here really are empowering and lift you up! In the classes they make you work your butt off and you leave proud of yourself! I just started going to McClure in the last two weeks and I’m already hooked. I used to DREAD working out, and would always make some kind of excuse to warrant why I couldn’t work out. A friend encouraged me to go to McClure and I started with a Hip Hop Cardio class. It was spectacular! I didn’t count down the minutes until the work out was over. I enjoyed it so much. I’ve since been to Hip Hop Cardio two more times and Sweat and Stretch. I’ve enjoyed it each time. I cannot wait to continue to explore more classes! I have been going to McClure for about a month now !! I first started with spin on Sundays and my first class , I was literally in shock lol I was not one to workout or anything but thought I would try it . Honestly, I told my friend “I don’t know about this” but I showed up the next Sunday and the next and I am now OBSESSED . I not only grab a Sunday bike, I cycle Tuesday night and Friday mornings . I’ve been a MFer for two months now. Never in my life have I have felt more motivated to work out. I’m at MF every chance I get (which most of the time is everyday). All of the different class options, instructors, and available times makes for an easy to not miss experience. There’s literally a different class for every mood you’re in or for the different goals you may have. Beyond the physical strength of it all is the atmosphere. It’s unlike anything I’ve experienced. Being held accountable, having instructors walk beside you and help you reach your goals, and being surrounded by women and men that are so welcoming and kind to one another is just not something you can find anywhere. Being pushed to get stronger is just one portion of what you get when you join MF.

So I have a friend who comes to McClure and I wanted to try out their spin class because I had been to the barre class with Carol before and loved it. Super great instructor and highly recommend her (which is why I gave my review two stars instead of one).

The spin class was good and the instructor was friendly. However, I will not be back because of an experience I had with the owner before the class started.

What happened: I have taken a spin class before at a different gym and was familiar with the motions. So I didn’t feel the need to sign up for the beginner class. When I get in (15 min early) I waited around at the front desk for someone to check me in before the owner approached and asked for my email. I showed it to her and she said I need to rent shoes. Which was fine, I just wasn’t aware because it said no where in the email about renting shoes. I said “okay let me run out to my car.” This clearly frustrated her and she said “nevermind. It’s whatever. If you’ve never taken a spin class you should sign up for the beginner course and next time you’ll have to pay for these.” slammed the shoes on the counter and walked away.

Like I said, there are some good instructors at this gym, just sad that the owner thinks so poorly of new clientele.

I’ve had a couple of hiccups here, but overall it’s pretty great. A few tips that may help you out: there are no refunds or makeups so I choose to book my bike just an hour or two ahead of time. (I have kids so my days can be unpredictable), bring a fan that can clip to your bike if you spin because I’m pretty sure there’s no ventilation in the spin room and it gets a little warm for me, and last—get your kids at the end of class (even if your class runs over) because the child care girls have to leave.

McClure fitness got me working out again!! After having 2 babies, I needed to finally take care of myself and get my body back but more importantly I wanted to feel better! I started going to McClure just 2.5 months ago. I did “The Challenge,” an online fitness program equipped with workouts, meal planning, and accountability. I have lost 15 lbs so far!! It has taught me how to eat right, how to meal prep, and the exercise videos were so fun and pushed me harder than I’ve ever worked. I started going to the gym and doing in person fitness classes also; that just takes it to a whole new level (in the best way)! There are so many different classes that I am never bored. Pam’s fat blaster gives me the biggest calorie burn, and she is just so funny and fun that I don’t even notice how hard I’m working sometimes! I highly recommend McClure! You’ll be hooked like I am!

This place is amazing. I first went thinking that I am a former athlete and this should help keep me in shape. However, the bootcamps are super intense and push you in multiple ways. The classes are always a little different so your body can't get used to a routine. I have not pushed myself like this in a long time and the results when you do the work here are noticeable. If you want something you’ve gotta work for it. Ever since I had my daughter in 2017 I’ve been trying to at least get back to my original weight that I was before I got pregnant. I tried tons of different diets, but nothing seemed to stick or work out for me. In April of this 2018 I decided to try to just count my calories, check my macros, and workout at least 4-5 times a week. I’m so beyond thankful that I found McClure Fitness. This gym has helped me so much along my little fitness journey: by taking barre, spin, and a few bootcamp classes along with watching what I eat, I have managed to lose over 20lbs. I’m still not exactly where I want to be, but I just have to trust the process and be patient. ( I’d also like to brag on all the instructors who always push us, make us laugh, and make the experience so much fun!)

Positivity. Motivation. Encouragement. It’s all here at McClure Fitness!! I moved to Bryant about a year and a half ago and on a whim, decided to try the gym about a year ago. I was hesitant because for YEARS I had just done workout videos in my living room totally solo and wasn’t sure if the group fitness atmosphere would really be my “thing”. Well, I’m happy to report that it’s totally pushed me forward in my fitness journey to goals that I never thought were attainable. The wide variety of classes/time offerings make working out on the daily both convenient and fun!! My advice is to try lots of different instructors/types of classes to find the ones you really sync up with the most.

If you’re worried about working out in front of ppl, don’t be!! Pretty much everyone is there to get healthy and become better versions of themselves. And even IF someone were to be paying attention—well, my motto is that they’re not working hard enough. I don’t have time for that mess. 😊 Your health and well-being is worth an hour of your time, and I can’t think of a better place to get fit in Saline County besides McClure!! I just moved here from Alaska. Heard about this place from family members and we all started coming soon after. I have really enjoyed not only the uplifting atmosphere, but also the camaraderie among everyone. Great place to workout, mostly a female atmosphere but there are usually 1 or 2 male clients I'm assuming they were drug there by their spouse, much like I was the first time.

The only class I attend is the spin (stationary bike) class. Let me tell you something it's no joke.

I mostly avoid cardio based workouts instead I prefer strength training at the local gym. But I'm hooked on spin now. Erin makes it so fun and also challenging. I have been to maybe 6 classes now and plan to continue going once weekly. Maybe after another 6 classes or so I'll be able to stay on beat.

McClure Fitness is a great place to work out. All the instructors are there to help you in your fitness journey. Early this year, I signed up to do the 12- Week Challenge. During the 12 weeks, I learned that I needed to eat real food and not processed food. A big game changer indeed!!! Plus you get a couple of classes with your registration. So I started attending boot camp....which is a workout but so much fun. If you think you can't do a particular station, there are modifications and the instructor will show you. There are many classes you can attend, but my favorites are boot camp, spin, HIIT, strength training and intervals. If you have never attended a class, the first one is FREE.....so come try it out.

I love that McClure Fitness is a class based gym. I know that sounds intimidating but it's also very motivating. Each class and instructor will meet you where you are physically and challenge you to keep moving and get stronger. I enjoy the bootcamp, strength training and barre classes. Because of the different classes and times offered I have been able to be more consistent with my workouts than ever before. I can definitely say I'm stronger than yesterday!

I have been going to Mcclure Fitness since all that was available was Bootcamp! Marietta has come so far since then and all of her classes are excellent not to mention a ton of fun! My favorite classes are Kickboxing with Bridgette and Bootcamp with Alice. The classes are as difficult as you make them and the instructors are really great about giving modifications to suit your personal fitness level while pushing you to achieve your best!

I've never really enjoyed going to the gym until some former co-workers introduced me to McClure Fitness. The group classes help keep me motivated and accountable...and they are FUN! I love going to Barre! I haven't had a Barre instructor yet that I haven't loved. My husband has even started coming with me and he loves it too! I joined McClure when my husband and I moved to Bryant this past spring....it was the best decision EVER! I LOVE every single class I take. Bootcamp is an awesome way to get both cardio and strength training done in one session. The workouts are never the same, so you will never get bored! I also take Barre and Yoga. Barre burns serious calories while toning muscles I have never worked before and Yoga has improved my balance and flexibility enormously!
I've recruited several of my friends here and they love it as much as I do!

McClure Fitness is the best place to exercise. It is more than just any old gym, its an experience. I have been working out here for over a year. I usually attend their Bootcamp classes 2-4 times per week. And let me tell you they are AMAZING! Every day the workouts are different, so you never have to worry about getting bored or stuck in a rut. I burn anywhere from 450-700 Calories per class. Each instructor, no matter who's class you are taking, is extremely motivating and encouraging. I cannot praise McClure Fitness and Marietta, the owner, enough. Give this place a go and you will be so glad that you did!

I love this place! I had been searching all over for a gym that would offer classes that would push me out of my workout rut. This gym exceeded that plus more. The classes really push you past your comfort zone, because you don't get results in your comfort zone. Marietta McClure has truly found her calling and she motivates you to push deeper, and go harder than you ever thought you could. Plus they have over 60 different classes available, how can you beat that! My favorite classes are Hot Yoga, TRX and Boot camp. The family atmosphere is amazing as you spend time getting to know the people who workout there. Prepare for an amazing workout and to become "stronger than yesterday" at McClure fitness! McClure Fitness is a great way to relieve stress. I attended the women's night and got to experience four great classes- Hip Hop Cardio was fun and upbeat and did not even feel like burning calories. Spin Class was different than I would have imagined it and definitely felt it the next morning. Barre was like ballet as a kid but with a huge twist of burning those extra fat calories in places you did not even realize it. The last class was Name That Song. You did a specific exercise the entire length of a song. Definitely a different twist to a work out...All in All I am huge fan of McClure Fitness and Marietta. She has a great operation going!! Let's get real here, most people do not to workout! But when you hv great instructors and great people to workout with, why not try it out!?!?! U won't be disappointed! McClure Fitness has great option plans, just sign up for 1 class/week. That's if you want to start off slow, but I promise you you'll want to increase it!!! Love it! I've only been going to McClure for about a month but it is just the right atmosphere and direction that I need, I'm not the type of person that can just walk into a gym a work out on an elliptical for more than 2 min, I need postive support, direction, and most of all make it fun so I'll keep coming back. Due to my busy work schedule I needed flexability after 6pm, and McClure has so many times and classes that work for me. I like Hip Hop Cardio and Intervals but I want to try Barre and Spin.
