This is an awesome heath club with friendly staff and a very wide range of equipment and classes that are offered. The sauna and steam room are an added bonus, plus towel service. So glad for the 5:30 am circuit class with Ethan. He is a great instructor that makes us work all our muscles and feel good about what we are doing. He pushes us to do better, but is not too pushy.

The staff is fantastic. They know us by name and always welcome us in. Also, I love how many staff members are available to help, answer questions, and interact. They all seem very happy to be at the club, and that makes it a lot of fun to be there as a member. I also love that it's a place for people to relax. I’m very happy with my new membership at the North Little Rock athletic club. I left my previous gym because of their obvious lack of concern for customer experience. The North Little Rock athletic club has oriented everything towards customer service experience. Easy check-in, clean towels available for workout and for shower. All of the equipment that one could desire for exercise, steam rooms for after workout and easy access to the showers with body wash and shampoo supplied. The combination lock built in to the lockers in the changing room is also extremely convenient. Small things like water bottle, filling dispensers and even Leiva’s coffee!!!

To ANYONE WITH CHILDREN who utilize the kids club service: The employee who runs the kids club is not nice to children. Denise yelled at my kids for “screaming” in the jungle gym. They disciplined my children and put them in time out. (Which I’m told isn’t even allowed) when I confronted her about this, she got down in my child’s face and told her she was disrespectful (she’s 6 crying while explaining her feelings). I’ve seen her snatch up a little girl about 2 years old and say “I’m not about to play with you”. She yells at them. She also made a horrible remark to my sister about her disabled son staying “when you told me he was autistic I was expecting him to be more aggressive and dumb”. Mary, the manager, only promised they would “do more training” to handle this situation. I was there for two days. The hot tub doesn’t work. The equipment is a little run down but I was exited for this to work for my kids. I waited months to join, my kids were looking forward to it so much. Please keep your kids safe.

There’s amazing staff, lots of workout equipment, you can swim, run on the track, play basketball, get in the sauna, and they have lockers to store your stuff in. They also have free coffee and water, and snacks for purchase. I even have access to a personal trainer. I love it here!

I have been a member at NLR Athletic Club since January 2004. I'm still presently a member. My experience has been the best, or I wouldn't still be a member there. I feel safe from the parking lot to the inside. My experience with the staff & other members is excellent. I ❤️ going to the NLR ATHLETIC CLUB on a regular base. Love the staff and trainers here! The basketball courts and childcare are a big plus, too. However, the workout area is relatively small, and they have several obsolete pieces taking up space that could either be used for doubles of equipment that get used a lot or pieces that would get used more often. Since members use only a few pieces regularly, getting a planned workout in can be challenging if it is busy.

Seems to be more of a crossfit gym that happens to have other amenities. Not sure if it's meant to be that way, but the crossfit crowd definitely hijacks the atmosphere with their music, yelling, and walking around topless. The workout area for everyone else is very cramped. However, the front desk staff and trainers are really awesome though! Super friendly, and most know you by name. They are the saving grace of this facility.

I’ve gone to the NLRAC off and on for over ten years. We’ve always loved what it offers. Currently I’m doing personal training with Jenna and she’s awesome! She is very personable and friendly. I actually look forward to going to the gym. Having that appointment is really the only way I’ll go lately. Lol I wish there were some other class options in the morning for weights if possible, or yoga. But I love all the options it offers currently. My boys love coming to play basketball and my youngest loves the kid zone area. He begs to go back. Everyone there is so friendly.

I like all the gym has to offer but I am considering canceling my membership because the childcare option that is advertised is never available for me when I exercise. Just one of many examples, I paid for a personal training sessions and had to keep my daughter with me the entire time. I thought I would be able to sign her into the children's area when arrived but I could not.
There are areas in the women's locker room that need to be painted and repaired. Otherwise nice gym with nice amenities.

Love this gym. My husband is a travel nurse and we came to Little Rock for an assignment. We signed up with Little Rock North and everyone was so welcoming. I love this gym! Every time I walk in the door I'm greeted by happy and personable employees. The facility is well kept and clean. The equipment is well maintained as well. Becoming members has been great for my whole family...my daughter loves the Kid's Galaxy. We even held her birthday party here. All I had to worry about were decorations and inviting guests. I have been a member here for over a year. I could never go back to a $10 gym a month. They really spoil us here with the kids galaxy, saunas, machines for cardio and weight strengthening. The classes for any age group or level of fitness. There is even aqua fitness classes and yoga. Not to mention the pool during the summer is phenomenal.

Well we never got to try it out. We aren’t members, but wanted to try it out for a few hours, That’s not asking much. We called ahead, and they said we could try it out, a free 7 day trial. Ok cool, we’d do that. Drove up there, walked up to counter, but didn’t get to go in. The person we spoke to on the phone failed to mention that only a specific manager deals with the free trials; and he went home. Well go figure. Now what happens? We go from free trial to $40 for the week. Not! No free trial , so we left disappointed.

Outstanding facility and staff! I do not have one bad thing to say about this gym. Everything is always clean, staff is always friendly and courteous, the facility itself is well equipped and great bang for the buck! Props to Anthony and all the staff.
