The owner Lee is a class act, truly a great guy that takes pride in his business and gets to know everyone that walks through the door on a personal level. It’s an old school bodybuilding gym which is personally my favorite style, and Lee’s customer service is that of an upscale country club. You can tell this place has a lot of history and is really cool to experience. I will always be an advocate of this place and Lee. If you want an old school style gym with world class customer service, look no further.

Low traffic, with all equipment available for use when you need it. All function, no frills. If you work out and complain you couldn't do an exercise because someone was already using a machine, you didn't look around for the duplicate.

Do not listen to the reviews! This place is beyond run down. The cardio equipment is ancient and barely works, even if at all.
I didn’t see a Sauna or any child care facility. There were random bits of junk shoved into corners and no lights (or even a light switch!) in the women’s bathroom. Holes with insulation peaking out in the ceiling and unfinished walls.
They should give people a free pass to try it out. Sorry I wasted five bucks on the five day pass. The only good thing was the staff; Very friendly and helpful but overall not an acceptable experience for a decent workout.

This gym includes a hot sauna, 2 floors of training equipment, all the machines and weights you would ever need, extremely friendly staff, very welcoming members, child care available, racquetball courts, large indoor pool and the nicest owner Mr. Lee all for a great price. NAC is the BEST gym in NWA! No country club here. If you're looking for a place that has all the weight lifting equipment needed to get jacked, racquetball courts, sports training, and/or fitness classes...this is your place. It feels like family too!

This is a great place to work out with few oversized guys who drop weights and think they are the best..not here. It's great and the sauna is very warm. Very welcoming. Older place, but very nice.

This is the gym that Rocky Balboa trained in. If you prefer flashy, hipster gyms with 18 year olds as trainers, FitnessOne is the place for you. If on the other hand you want an exercise and diet plan that works, talk to John. The guy is in his 50’s and can bench press a bus. He creates individual workout plans for anyone who wants to shed a few pounds or for aspiring athletes in volleyball, basketball, football, wrestling targeting speed, endurance, explosiveness, max vertical, power.... Middle and high school age kids brought in by their parents to work with him are a common sight. Plus 3 racquetball courts (with an actual community of players), pool, jacuzzi, yoga, martial arts classes and child care area.

So if your looking for a gym with real equipment and a lot of it this place is for you. The best shape I ever got in was at Lords gym in north Little Rock and this gym is very similar when it comes to cardio and weight equipment. Staff was very nice and so was the owner Lee. Looking forward to getting some killer workouts here this spring and summer!!!

Awesome place! friendly people and it's improving a lot over the last few months. New machines, and the weight benches are also getting a face lift I noticed this week. All of these things are great to see. Very refreshing especially for the people like me who have been here for many years. We can't wait to see what else Lee has up his sleeves for this gym. I love this place a lot, it's a second home for me and my family.

This place is GROSS!! I seriously can’t believe it’s even open. Pool and hot tub are are disgusting. Weight equipment must be 20+ years old. Benches are full of holes, etc. You’d be better off going anywhere but here.

This gym... where do I begin? First, it's an established gym and has been around for a long time, and yes, it does need work, BUT, the staff is very helpful even though they could be a little more friendly, The guy behind the front desk most of the time never seems to know anything, and he has been there for several years.
For a long time, there was no one really cleaning the gym on a regular basis and it has developed an odor that is very unappealing. Lately, though, I have noticed the lady from the childcare room has started cleaning a lot. The stairs are light grey now but they were black for a long time. The atmosphere has changed in the past few weeks it is coming back to life in there. The bathrooms and showers have shown a lot of improvement, also, the new equipment downstairs is wonderful and the pool area plants are coming back to life! It would be awesome if the hot tub could be updated and kept more clean. I think that the owner is taking some positive steps toward bringing this place back to its former glory, and I am glad, I will be glad to see what improvements he has in store next! I love the lady upstairs in the child care room, She has really changed things there, the staff seem to be happier and more structured. My niece's kids love being in there with Miss Dannie, she really knows how to keep the kids entertained! I have seen her interact with all of the kids, younger, older, and with disabilities. That says a lot about the kind of people that the owner has finally got working for him. Quality people, positive changes and a clean energetic atmosphere will keep people like my family coming. I almost quit this gym, but I am glad to see the changes so I wont have to.

Smells strongly of mold. Most of floor is carpeted and filthy. Entire facility is Filthy. Machines apparently not maintained or cleaned and many are dangerously malfunctioning. Childcare is dismal and depressing with no accountability. My child apparently cried in fear after I left and no one came to get me nor comforted her. Not handicap accessible.

Lee & his family are great people!
My family has had a membership here about 15 yrs. this is an Old School, No Frills Gym, that is more than fairly priced. I started there because of location, Now, we wouldn't go anywhere else.
