I rejoined Orange Theory in January. I have attended over 200 classes this year. I appreciate that Coach Carsson, Coach Charles, and Pearson create a welcoming and supportive culture at the West Little Rock studio. Carsson’s sincerity and empathy make everyone feel welcome at every fitness level. Pierson is very creative and makes everyone feel special when they are celebrating a birthday or milestone. Charles has a knack for finding the right music to suit the class. I appreciate that my very early morning starts with a great group of people at Orange Theory.

I have no complaints and a lot of positive things to share about this studio. The manager Liz welcomed me so warmly when I first moved to LR and was looking for a new gym. If you’ve never experienced Orange Theory before, I highly recommend. I travel often and am able to use studios across the US (which comes in handy to use their shower too!). I love the location of this studio and the instructors know their stuff. Come check it out and say hi!

My sister was to late to class this afternoon. Only about 5 minutes late to a 50 minute class. The reason she was late was because her car wouldn’t start. Mind you, she’s a teenager. She pays $100 a month to be apart of these classes. She doesn’t have a steady job because she’s in her freshman year of college. She’s paying for it by saving her money and not going out a lot. She pays for these classes because she loves to workout and it is something she enjoys doing. They wouldn’t let her in and wouldn’t give her a refund. These people are rude and inconsiderate.

Everyone here is so positive and helpful! Lannie at the front desk was amazing. What I didn’t like was how tiny and fast paced the classes were. I felt lost and it was Too close for comfort for me. Overall this seems like a nice place to join just not for me.

Yesterday I had a full body scan, the fourth since joining OTF West, getting ready to start the next challenge Push 30 June 15- July 14. I am always ready for a new challenge. Surprisingly since the last challenge, I still am improving my body. I lost 1.2 lbs, gained 2.5 lbs in muscle, and lost 4% body fat. Wow. I have completed 170 classes and continue to love all the classes and enjoy the special day events or challenges.
I give special accolades to my Coach Cathy who has been there for me each class, watching and correcting improper form, encouraging me to move up in weights, calling me out when form is great and smiling big and sometimes giving me alternate ways to execute the exercise to 1) gain more from an exercise or 2) to avoid further injury when I had an injury. She has a remarkable knowledge of the body’s muscles and makes sure we are executing correctly to avoid injuries. I strive to do it right in each class. She’s my coach and my friend and I look forward to each of her classes. Lastly I love her music choices for class! And my other favorite coach is Coach Parker. He has been a great coach, always smiling, conveys lots of positive energy. He continues to improve my form, showing me how to execute the exercises correctly and how to work the muscles. I enjoy his classes as he keeps us engaged in questions, stories, music conversations, happy noise I call it. I like that it takes me out of my head as I am working hard.
OTF West is my happy place, my extended family, as I continue to improve my body and mind. They celebrate each of our successes! Thank you so much.

Just have to edit to add how much I enjoy working out with coach Kathy! Not only does she have the best energy, is so knowledgable and experienced but she also gives amazing individualised attention and tips to cater to injuries, different levels of ability etc. She is the BEST.
I love OTF! I found it accidentally when I was looking for a new gym. I really didn't know what to expect before joining, nor did I have solid fitness goals for myself. Almost two years in and I can say it's a great place for both cardio and weight training for people of all levels. It truly lives up to its motto, "more life", in a sense of not only focusing on weight training and physique improvement (which will happen over time with consistency), but on cardio conditioning through HIIT which enhances longevity and health in its own right. When I first joined, I never felt pushed outside of my comfort zone to try new or very advanced things, and that worked for me during that gym newbie stage. I was, however, positively encouraged and that made me commit to the workout and to the process.
The music is awesome, much like the staff. Studio manager Liz is so kind and full of energy and a great workout partner to look up to. Coach Kathy is an awesome person, very helpful and attentive, always encouraging and accommodating for people who need options in their workout. Parker is a great coach, a great motivator and also an inspiration on many levels. Coach Erin has her own contagious energy and really pushes you to your potential.
I can’t recommend OTF in WLR enough. Be warned though, it is addictive😁

I've been a loyal OTF client for several years, and I historically turned my nose up at anything that looked like group fitness. This place is different, folks! I'm always greeted happily by name and the coaches make it a point to get to know the needs of each client. Cathy is especially knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to help clients meet their goals within their unique limits. I love that I can get a good strength and cardio workout in one session, but I especially love my Lift50 days. If only there were more options for Lift classes with my girl, Cathy!

I came back to OrangeTheory after not working out for a couple of years and I have absolutely loved it! I love the workouts and the community, but the coaches are what really sets OTF apart from other HIIT gyms. Coach Cathy at Little Rock West has been a godsend for me. She is extremely knowledgeable on all lifts and fitness movements and always takes the time to give individual tips and advice to everyone in each class to maximize the effectiveness and SAFETY of every exercise. Her diligence in fitness coaching also extends to a broad range of stretches for each and every muscle group, on which she has advised me greatly to help increase my muscle pliability and overall quality of life, since I’m not walking around stiff all the time. I can’t thank Coach Cathy enough for all of her advise and coaching!

I’ve been an OTF member since 2017….moved from California to Arkansas a few years ago and absolutely love the West Little Rock studio! The coaches are all great. Coach Cathy is truly one of the best. I love this place! I am 51 and am stronger now than ever. I have a horrible back with scoliosis and Coach Cathy has kept me safe and uninjured. She always makes sure that I am using perfect form and gives me safe alternatives on the weight floor if something could potentially hurt my back. I also just love being around other people who are trying to live a healthier life. It really is a great environment. It’s not cliquish like so many other group exercise gyms. I’ve moved around and gone to a few different Orange Theories, but the one in West Little Rock is the gold standard! Everyone is so friendly and honestly cares about your progress. Liz is an amazing manager - always so excited to see you walk through the doors. The coaches are all awesome! Coach Cathy is so knowledgeable about form on the weight floor and knows when to push you. I really enjoy being part of her Transformation Challenge group. Joined OTF WLR after a rough patch, and it has been such an amazing community. Liz was the MOST welcoming human I've encountered - made me feel immediately part of the group. I've been able to make OTF a regular part of my routine thanks to the encouragement of staff, coaches, and other members. Cathy has been the MOST encouraging coach. I work from home, and Cathy has been especially helpful in making sure I'm doing exercises correctly to correct my posture from so much sitting. Erin gave me some really good advice about how to get protein from vegetarian sources, and Sydni was awesome about helping me modify for a calf injury. Everyone is SO kind and supportive. I have been going to OTF for awhile now and it is the best gym experience ever. The workouts vary and everything can scaled or modified to suit an individual's needs. I love that this gym isn't one size fits all. The amount of support at that gym keeps me going. Everyone is very encouraging and friendly. The coaches are great at motivating and are very dedicated. Super friendly SA team and coaches that are welcoming and educating for people at all the various points along their respective fitness journeys. Clean studio/restrooms, well maintained equipment, plenty of lockers, and a good selection of merch/drinks - what more do ya need? 🫡
My new favorite format is the Tread50 - fantastic for anyone who wants to get some extra cardio in or just is really reluctant to train outdoors during extreme temperatures! It’s 45-50 minutes of you and a solid, well cushioned treadmill, with guided instruction should you desire it. Distance runners, take note - 30-40 mi/week training blocks is possible with 6 classes/week.
Of note - classes can fill up early, especially Strength50 and OTF90, so make sure to sign up in advance! The late cancel fee is a solid motivator to actually show up! 😋

I was founding member who returned a couple months ago after being gone since the start of the pandemic. I tried other places but this OTF studio is the only place that I have been consistent in my 51 years. It’s even better since coming back. Great staff, eclectic music, amazing camaraderie define this studio. The workouts are challenging. Very challenging. However, with the coaches help, I can do it. Sometimes modifying certain movements, but that’s ok. I’m seeing regular progress every week. Everyone is great—the coaches, staff and fellow members. Very happy to be back. It feels like home.

I never thought I would be someone who would enjoy workouts as much as I do now. I've been going to OrangeTheory West studio for about a year now. At the beginning going to workout was a chore, but now it is a habit that I love. My advice to anyone is be consistent and you will see results, that has been my story. I have been going to Orange Theory West studio for the last 5 years. I have loved loved loved going each day for those 5 years. Each day the template is different which I love. My body still gets sore after 5 years. OTF has helped me reach PR goals for half marathons and helped me run my first ever full marathon. The coaches keep me motivated and have helped me push my limits beyond my own limitations. Coaches bring the energy I need and want on those unmotivated days. They are one of the reason why I keep going back. The members! Let’s talk about the fit fam community. When I say it is a fit fam it truly is a family away from your family. They hold me accountable, keep me smiling and have helped me connect with people on this community I call home now. Not only do we work out together but we hang out outside of the studio. OTF host fun little gathers at local spots to help us get to know one another. I mean at times it feels like I see my fit fam more than I see my own family. They look out for me like a family! After struggling for years through multiple gym memberships I finally found one I love. Being a guided workout, you never have to worry about what to do next as the coaches will let you know. The hour flies by and you definitely feel like you got a workout. Coach Cathy and Coach Parker are excellent motivators that will push you but also work with you to modify any exercise so that you can do it. This is the gym that will always make you want to come back for more and I love it.

I hadn’t worked out in ages when I went to COACH CATHY’s class at OTF Chenal 9 months ago and then decided to try one of her lift classes too - WHY? Coz she doesn’t leave you by yourself to figure out any movement, corrects your form even on basic ones like squats, challenges you or gives you modifications if you’ve issues, and is awesomely inspiring. And 9 months later, I see my body changing, beating my PRs and most importantly, loving exercise! This is a place you can truly commit to. I started OT a year ago and while I was motivated then, I figured I would go a few months then drop it like all of the other diets and gym plans I had tried in the past. Here I am a year later and if I’m not there at least four times a week, I miss it. It has been so motivating to be in the best shape of my life and I continue to see improvements, especially as I have been trying to lift heavier in the floor blocks. The front desk staff are all wonderful and coach Cathy is the absolute best! She is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to the human body and our different muscle groups. She will show you stretches you never knew existed! For the first time in my life (I’m 35), I have a fitness routine that I stick to week after week and the results of that are truly transformative. It can be intimidating at first but all of the coaches are great and will take care of you if you are a newby. They literally give detailed instructions for every workout so don’t worry about not knowing what you are doing. If you have read this far and are still interested, go try a class and see what it is all about. You might regret it midway through when breathing is a challenge but by the end of the workout, you will be so glad you went.

Follow up (03/14/23):
I just finished the Transformation Challenge, which is 8 weeks of trying to complete at least 3 classes a week in addition to getting body fat & muscle bioelectrical impedance scans to help track non-scale victories. I also improved my eating habits. As a result I’ve lost 14 lbs since January, in a healthy and sustainable way, while increasing my lean muscle and lowering my body fat percentage.

Great workout experience. Keep you motivated. You need to be able to do cardio type exercise for about 45 mins or so before you join. That way you can push yourself harder.
Only downside that is big is that it is very expensive. They seriously need to lower their prices. Many gyms like LA fitness charges $25 per month and you cannot justify paying more than $100 per month for this.
Suggestion: They seriously need to try different price points and see what is the optimal price that will fill up all their slots. Have elite membership who will get preference for booking classes. Charge discount membership for times that no one wants.. Fill up all slots! I don't think they care about expanding memberships.

The motivation given by the coaches is by far the best thing at OTF.. I love all the coaches but I have to admit that coach Amanda Bell goes above and beyond, in pushing us yet keeping safety and health of each individual as her number one priority, no matter how big or how small the class is. She always manages to run from one end of the studio to the other, watching each one of us, correcting forms, giving modifications, encouraging, greeting first time guests, .., she just does it all in a beautiful continuous flow! She spreads great vibes throughout the whole class and that immediately gets your heart rate going. It’s not easy doing all the above at 5 am but she does it!! She is just the BEST!!

Get over the nervousness and GO if you're serious about being healthy and fit. Do it for yourself more than anything/anyone else and you'll achieve the goal you set forth. I started my first class 4/19. From Day 1 the front desk staff were exceptional at making me feel comfortable by educating me on Orangetheory and giving a brief overview of the local facility. I've only been to the Chenal center so not sure if all centers in this area are set up the same but I do enjoy the limited class sizes and the fact that you sign up for slots in a class via website that's fast and easy. Once Coach Cathy arrived for my first class she reiterated the overview, took me on a tour for acclamating to the equipment, and she hooked me up with a partner to watch my back. Everyone was awesome, the facility is setup just right to switch stations for endurance and strenthing, music is on point, and the overall experience blew me away🚀🚀🚀 I signed up for more sessions after that first class. Do It and enjoy it!!I know I'm siked to be heading back!😊
