I recommend Pilates for You for people of all ages and fitness levels, from desk workers to athletes. Catherine's private pilates lessons are perfect for anyone who wants to build balance, flexibility, strength, body awareness, and confidence safely and effectively. Men and women alike will benefit from Catherine's knowledge of exercise and the human body. Without proper supervision, it is so easy to damage your body by working out incorrectly--but Catherine eliminates that risk with her keen eye. I find that the principles I've learned in Catherine's pilates classes have not only affected how I work out, but my posture and overall body alignment as well. I absolute LOVE Pilates for You!

I am totally new to pilates and started with Catherine 10 weeks ago. I met her at an art function and she seemed to have a positive outlook on helping people. I thought that the price was low enough that I could afford two sessions a week and knew that at 54 I needed to get started doing something positive for myself. I have seen a huge change in my body in 10 weeks. I feel so much stronger and have increased flexibility. She is wonderful to work with and always goes that extra mile! She is willing to work with my schedule, which can be difficult, and best of all she is very affordable. Working one on one with her has been so helpful and she pays close attention to my movements to make certain that my positions are correct to avoid any possible injury. I feel that she really cares about my progress. My husband went to a session with me and his observation as an athlete was "Wow! She's really good!" As for me, I am just really happy with how my closes fit now! I just increased my sessions to 3 times a week and recommend Pilates for You to anyone who cares about their health.

I have worked with Catherine for over 3 years and have accomplished more than I could have ever anticipated. She provides an individualized approach which allows you to really work on "you" and not a set of codified exercises just because they are deemed the best by some manual. She will work with you to set goals and build a specific workout that will stretch you and allow you the freedom to try new things. Pilates has proven to be not only one of the best exercises but also a lifestyle for me and I owe a lot of that to Catherine.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Catherine for many years. She is excellent in her ability to teach Pilates movements while taking into account any prior or current injuries. I personally have become stronger, more balanced in my body, and more flexible. She has an incredible ability to explain Pilates in terms that are easy to understand and is able to break down the movements for learning purposes. I only wish I lived closer to Fayetteville so I could go to Pilates class/training more often!

I've been Catherine's student since 2011, and as a dancer and aerialist I rely on my twice weekly sessions with her for my cross training regimen. Her training has improved my dancing by enhancing my core strength and stability, as well as over all toning and spinal alignment. Her rates are very reasonable, especially considering the detailed and precise training she provides to the individual. I also very much love working out in her space. Pilates for You, LLC has a very relaxing and almost spa-like atmosphere, that I very much appreciate. It allows me to lose my stress while I focus on my workout.

I have been working with Catherine since 2010 and was very excited when she opened her own studio, Pilates for You. With a degree in dance and having a solid knowledge of body movement and anatomy, Catherine is truly passionate about Pilates. She takes each client individually and will work with you to help you reach your own personal fitness goals and the body you are aspiring to have. Be prepared to have effective workouts and if you match Catherine's attention and enthusiasm with your own commitment, you will see the results you will love!

I LOVE Pilates, never thought I'd say that! I thought it was just the latest fashionable thing to do, but I was so wrong! I'm stronger at age 44 than I've ever been, more toned than I've been since I was 30 and after 3 kids that makes me happy.
In the first 6mnths I did Pilates with Catherine I went down two pant sizes, this was all in my hip & bum area. Aches & pains that I had have gone away, as I've learnt more about posture & how my body works.
Give it a go you'll be amazed, it's really varied & you don't have to thousands of reps which means all sessions are different so boredom doesn't set it which is key to get you to keep at it.
Catherine & Pilates for You have changed my life :)

I'm very pleased with my experience at Pilates for You. Pilates is for every person at every fitness level from the strong and fit to people with physical problems. Several years ago, I had an auto-immune response called Guillain-Barre Syndrome that left me with physical issues. Catherine has created a program for me that has allowed me to be stronger than I ever hoped to be again, to alleviate pain, and to walk so much better. Pilates helped me more than doctor-prescribed physical therapy. I would recommend Pilates for You to anyone.
