The gym is very dirty. Equipment doesn't get cleaned. Employees work out on the clock. The dress code is not enforced. People will work out in jeans and sandals. People will slam weights and equipment, and nothing is done.

Of the three locations in the Benton, Arkansas area I have been too, this is the best one. This also the only one I've been to more than once.

Let's start with the good...

All the staff I interacted with have been friendly, welcoming, and very helpful.

Today I came in after the morning rush. I wanted to see if the water in the showers was still HOT; it was!!

The facilities are clean and well maintained. The showers are clean, the massage chairs are all clean and in working order. The gym floor was being clean after the end of the morning rush and not at the end of the day. It appears they are very fastidious about keeping this gym clean.

So, why the four stars and not five? ADA compliance in the handicapped shower stall. There are no grab bars. I use those on a regular basis due to my back and knees. However, there are grab bars in the toilet stall and in the changing room.

I happened to be here when a gal from corporate was walking around with the gym manager. I stopped them and shared this concern.

They both agreed it's an ADA issue. The manager even said there are no grab bars in the men's handicapped shower stall. I was assured they would bring it to the area managers attention and I truly believe this issue will be addressed in a timely manner.

(UPDATE: I spoke with the gal from corporate in the parking lot as I was writing this review and they have already submitted a work order to place the grab bars in both stall.)

As with the PF I've been to in the South, bring your own soap and there is no hair dryer.

I only have recently joined planet fitness within the last month and might I say that I have met both Abby and Athena and they are a great help and wonderful employees…

The only issue I have is they don’t have the arc trainer at this location that geyer springs in Little Rock has…please fix this as I frequent this location more

Clean facility, lots of machines and well organized. I just wish there were more adjustable benches, we have to borrow them from the smith machines often when using the barbells. Other than that I love it.

I left PFit but came back recently. The other big gym in the area feels very cramped and the machines are not well placed.

Gym is nice, everything is good but I’m confused about truck parking. Manager on the phone said than recently at least couple trucks have been towed. Here in comments I see how managers guided truckers to avoid issues. So is it truckers friendly or not?

I've noticed the gym has improved recently. I liked it before but the new arrangement of equipment helps it feel more spacious. This place is filled with positive energy. Every time I walk in, I am greeted by a staff member. The people who are members are friendly and encouraging. It really is a judgment-free zone. I like to go when there aren't a lot of people because I am self-conscious, but I feel relaxed there. Amazing gym!

I do enjoy this gym, but I like to go after work. I don't get off till 7 and its fine Monday-Friday but on Saturday and Sunday I can't go because it's closes at 8. Which I feel like is just really early, especially on weekends.

I love this place. Been going five days a week for nearly five weeks now. The only complaint I have, and it's the reason I didn't give five stars, is that they do not seem to enforce the dress code.

One of the signs clearly says no jeans allowed. Yet a guy was working out in baggy jeans about a week ago. (edited to add: This seems to be an ongoing thing, allowing people to dress anyway they wish, rather than enforcing the rules.)

My home base PF location. One of the cleaner PF locations I've been too and I've visited a lot of PFs. The equipment looks new but you can tell the staff takes time cleaning each one. Very good layout for working out and plenty of space to move around. Get your fitness on here....great place to be! Staff is friendly, especially if you get to know them.

I come here 5 days a week. The staff is friendly, always seems to be at least 2 to 3 people standing at the desk to watch people scan in. But no one seems to clean the bathrooms ever. They just hangout at the front desk. The woman’s bathroom is gross. I almost took a picture today to add to this comment. Not sure when the toilets were cleaned last but they are soooo dirty that there is a ring inside the toilet of filth. You would think the bathrooms would be cleaned daily like a normal business. I hope you all can get on a daily cleaning schedule.

I love planet fitness. They have great equipment and it's always clean. However, after the pandemic they never returned to being 24hrs. This made me switch to another gym down the street. My lifestyle and schedule warrants me to having that accessibility in time and they just can not honor that. As soon as you go back to 24hrs, I will be back. However for the time being you can catch me at pulse fitness

Seth, the club manager, is extremely disrespectful and is completely unfit to run a gym. There are several negative reviews on here about him and it is well past time for him to be fired. I’ve also experienced his little racism problem firsthand and I’m done with this gym. He has no want to make the customers happy and the high turnover rate is due to his treatment of the staff which is no better than how he treats the customers. I’ve had multiple friends work here. Steer clear of this gym. I’ll be going to corporate soon to make sure he finally loses his job.

I’ve been working out here for a month now. The 1 star rating is due to the staff at this Benton location. The short red haired manger with glasses is racist with a very smart mouth! He follows you around the gym watching its make me uncomfortable. I’ve worked out at the markham location in Little Rock and I’ve never experienced this. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I came in for my workout. And there was a man grunting loudly enough to hear over my music, it was distracting and uncomfortable. When I brought it to the General Manager’s (Seth) attention. He looked like I was inconveniencing him as he was chit chatting with a co-worker. He rolled his eyes at me and said “is it making you uncomfortable or something?” I said “yes, and it’s distracting.” He said “I guess I’ll make a lap.” He never did. The man grunting and counting his reps proceeded to get louder and more obnoxious.. this shouldn’t happen.

The manager doesn't seem to care about the customers. He doesn't open the store till 5am and we are paying the same price we paid for a 24hr membership. He only has one person opening up at 5 and just the other day she called in sick,and he didn't even care enough to get someone else to open up, so there was a lot of regular members sitting in the parking lot waiting luckily one of those members son works there and she called him, he got down
there around 5:45 to open up, THE MANAGER SHOULD HAVE DONE THAT HIMSELF IF HE COULDN'T GET SOMEONE ELSE TO. That just shows he shouldn't be the one in charge. And there should be two people opening up in the mornings so this doesn't happen again. When I called and talked to him he was pretty rude and said she texted him that she was sick but he didn't see it. If you are a manager you should be on call 24/7 so that is no
excuse. Also need at least one more set of weights on the lower end of the whatever they start out at through 25

Planet Fitness is the best place for my fitness needs. It has so many different things to offer. The tanning and massage beds are a huge plus in my book. The price is so reasonable as well. Last but definitely not least, the staff are warm and inviting. They are so helpful to me and always make me feel like I’m important and part of the family. I feel right at home when I walk in the door.

Smaller gym with a relaxing feel. Everything on the gym floor appeared to work as it should. This was the first PF I have visited that did not play overhead music and I really enjoyed the quiet! Bummer The showers only had cold water and the staff was uncertain when they would be repaired. 😩Because of this had to give 4 stars.

love their tanning beds and their massage chairs. but, i had to cancel my membership due to surgery, and the fact that i wouldn’t be using it for a minute, and have had to still pay even though i’m not using the gym/tan. i have had so many issues trying to close my account and they still are able to withdrawl money from my bank. seems like that’s all they care about. 🤦🏻‍♀️
