This gym charges me a late fee every month, saying there's a problem with my banking info, ive triple checked my info, and my bank says it's not on there end. I have a credit card on file, which they charge an extra fee to instead of just charging me my membership. I'd go anywhere else but here. They don't even have free weights. The gym is always uncomfortably hot. The toilets are always clogged. A lot of the equipment is in poor condition

This is my second time joining planet fitness I thought I would give it another try but not even three days in to me rejoining I have another encounter with DJ who always has some smart ass shit to say to people. I don’t know what his problem is, but I canceled my membership I will not be back this time unless it’s under new management. The workers are always working out leaving the front unattended. Overall poor customer service I asked for their corporate number. They gave me a nonworking number. Not to mention, the place is not even clean

Me and my sister-in-law had a membership at planet fitness everything was fine at first then she started being harassed by customers asking her if she was married and touching her on her leg one man followed her around and pinned her up in the hallway by the massage beds this is the hot springs location the employees are lazy very unattentive do not pay attention to what's going on with the ladies in the gym do not care to protect their customers sexual harassment value customers and very dangerous for lady customers and I also my insurance paid for my membership and it's only $15 for the black card with my insurance they came to me the other day and told me I owed $141 my insurance pays everything but $15 a month how in 3 months did I owe $141 the guy that followed her around followed her outside and got in his truck and was following her to her car and trying to abduct her when I chased him off

Typical PF in terms of facilities. Customers are generally nice. Men's locker room/bathroom is always filthy. Mostly the staff is helpful. There's one young guy at the front who doesn't belong in the service business. Telling a customer "It's awesome you feel that way" when trying to solve a problem is really clueless and insulting. Particulalrly when he says it in response to everything you say. Hot Springs is a small town. If there was another PF in town I would go there.

I've been going to plant fitness for some years now and never experience the untrained customer service from the front desk. Mr BJ definitely need some customer service skills the way he talked to me was very rude and unacceptable in any type of work environment. I will let the GM know in detail oof what happened but in the meantime I was so close to closing my membership with your organization due to his rudeness. PF hire people that can handle this type of work environment today put a bad taste in my mouth and im debating on coming back.

Canceled my membership twice and they still wanna charge me every month. Had to close my bank account to get it to stop. Go to a different gym that wont rip you off. 501 fitness is way better anyway.

On another note, the reason I stopped going here is because employees were following me in the shower and then gossiping about me outside of it within earshot. Not very professional or "judgment free". And clean your showers, it's disgusting in there.

I have been there for 4 years but recently they have been awful in their customer services because I guess they wanted to be replaced by AI I guess. They no longer wanted to provide customer services so they would demand that you be scanned in yourself using your cell phone. When you do not use a smart phone to scan in, then they treated you like a dud. Maybe it's time to just replaced them all with robots for all they are worth in customer service.

absolutely disgusting nothing is clean here. the bathrooms are the worst clogged toilets, dirty shower floors, foot prints, pink mold, dirty floors with trash in the floor, smells awful, just absolutely disgusting. Can’t believe i even went here to start with, if you don’t wanna catch diseases don’t come here, also there is a group of 4 old men that sit at the couches the whole time i’m here they don’t work out or anything, the gym is a place to work out NOT act like it’s a café. in the chairs, here are disgusting. They are made out of metal, cheap. They cut you because there’s so many sharp edges not comfortable for the people here and they have the air conditioning really low so it makes the chairs colder petition to get planet fitness better.

the chairs in the relaxing zone are very uncomfortable they are cold cheap and sharp the only comfortable option is the couches but there’s always old men on the couch drinking coffee they sit there for hours on end and talk have not seen them actually use the gym once they are here on the couch everyday, that’s not a problem if you want was to sit there for 20 minutes after your workout, but they’re not even working out. They’re just sitting there. and don’t even get me started on the amount of older men that are here, it makes me feel uncomfortable with my kids because they stare at them, the cracks in the bathroom stalls are not private at all, and there is a stall with just a chair nothing else. and when you want to sign up for a week or month membership it’s very difficult. when we were there you can’t just get a membership without a black card membership. you can’t use the tanning or anything but work out. NOT kid friendly, NOT comfortably established, and no public privacy.

Lilly and the rest of the staff are friendly and helpful. Plenty of cardio equipment, weights, Smith machines, and all other equipment. Well laid out so I didn't feel crowded working out. Also, very clean!

We have been members of this place off and on for the last 7 years. We returned from out of state last February and rejoined this location. Before we left, it was very clean, organized, and well ran. Now, it is very dirty and unorganized. We mostly tan now and the tanning rooms and booths are disgustingly dirty. Even though we were told early last fall that they had new bulbs for the booths in the storage room, it took them several months to begin replacing bulbs. Some of the booths had so many bad bulbs in them that they were absolutely worthless.

I just want to say for the record; this is about this specific PF, NOT the company.
This planet fitness has HORRIBLE customer service. Any time I ask to use the Hydro beds/Tanning/ etc., I am given a horrible attitude and baseline disrespect. For example, I walked up to the counter where you’re supposed to ask to use said amenities, and the club manager was facing the other direction. He eventually saw me standing there and said the following in very disrespectful and aggressive tone, “ I’m not gonna see you if you’re standing behind me. If you see me facing the other direction, just walk around. “ ..
WHAT?? You’re the employee, you’re the one that’s supposed to be watching your surroundings AND watching the counter?? You’re here to benefit ME, the paying customer. Especially if I walk up to specific spot to ask you to use the amenities.

I would like to express my concern for a manager named DJ at the Hot Springs location. I arrived at the club to tan. I was informed by DJ that I could not check in using my phone number that he didn't have time to do this. I told him my app wasn't working and he swung his arm back and got an attitude with me. He is very unprofessional and rude. I will not go if he is there. If he does not like his job he needs to go home.

I enjoyed going to PF until a staff member was rude to my mother to the point of making her cry. I've had dealings with him as well when I tried to cancel my membership and he had an attitude problem with me. If you don't like your job then leave because other people want to enjoy going. On another note you have no earthly idea what someone is going through in their personal life so when you're at work please be kind and mindful of the guests that come to enjoy either a workout or if they want to tan. This is ridiculous. She has a membership and this staff member refused for her to go in and tan and workout just because her phone is messed up and apps can't get downloaded at this time. I will never be going back to this place as long as he is employed there.

Let me start by saying that I've been to some Fantastic Planet Fitness facilities.
This one is subpar. The old guy at the desk is always on his phone. Not paying attention.
The tanning beds are always dirty. There is a broken piece that fell off the bed...it has laid in the same place for two weeks. At least. Making me think the room is never swept, let alone cleaned.
The front doors always have smears and hand prints. They definitely do not clean daily.
The equipment is dirty and dusty.
And even though it's in a very unkept shopping center; they could leaf blow or sweep the front of the building.
I admit I'm picky. I like a CLEAN gym.
The ones I have been a member of in other places have a cleaning person constantly cleaning. And someone checking the tanning rooms regularly.
The best one so far...Florence KY!!
They could ALL learn from that one.

I am extremely disappointed with the higher ups, and their lack of action in addressing the continuous issues with the COLD SHOWERS, and absolutely filthy locker room. The staff have feigned sympathy, and collected many complaints over the last year. They claim to have tankless water heaters, and when they are working, you get a nice hot shower, but when they are not (which often happens halfway through the shower) you will not even be able to get the soap off your skin. I believe that most of the clients who frequent this gym either do not utilize the showers, or choose not to complain, and that because the staff is friendly, and the machines maintained, the showers are not a good enough reason to seek other facilities. This is happening far too often to be natural failure, and is the result of either, employee sabotage (unknown motive), plumber sabotage (monetary motive), or something larger... I suspect that the malfunctioning showers keep undesirables from maintaining memberships at this very crowded gym as a strategy to stay clean. Yes, this "JUDGEMENT FREE ZONE" where "YOU BELONG" hasn't been willing to offer me ANY kind of compensation for neglecting to actually provide this advertised amenity. When I was cancelling my membership, the employee agreed that most of his clients don't complain, because they "understand our situation". I believe they are currating an environment free of undesirables intentionally, and saving money on heating water at the same time... Win/Win for the corporate overlords. I even suspect that the continuous issues with the cleanliness of the locker room is intentional, as a strategy to prevent their clients from using facilities and therefore utilities. So ask yourself: DO YOU BELONG? The truth is that I am extremely disgruntled because I also, for nearly a year have attempted to be "Understanding of their situation", though the ONLY AMENITY I had use for, was so often unavailable... I feel duped, continuing to pay, month after month, while showering less and less, to avoid the assault of cold water that became more and more common... See, they wanted me to demonstrate understanding, each employee acting annoyed that I was even mentioning it, every time, but the ONLY UNDERSTANDING THEY DEMONSTRATED, was understanding that I FINALLY wanted to cancel. I cannot prove it, but I am convinced that this is intentional on the behalf of the owners of this location that doesn't have any other nearby competing Planet Fitness locations and is often too FULL of clients who come to show off their new fitness wear, and have resolved NEVER to break a sweat in such a public local... I tried to utilize the equipment a few times, and the other members seemed appalled by someone perspiring... As someone who paid for this membership because of lack of access to a shower, I feel Cheated AND DISCRIMINATED AGAINST.

I want to cancel my membership due to personal reasons, and I urgently need to leave the US, which makes it impossible for me to visit my home club to cancel in person. When I called to inquire about the cancellation process, the staff informed me that I needed to send a cancellation email to my home club. I sent two emails to the gym manager but have not received a response after waiting for more than a week.
I called again, and they asked me to fill out a request form, which I can only obtain in person. There is no option to download the form online, which seems unreasonable. It’s clear that they have repeatedly made this process difficult for me. I've had to call 3-4 times and have only received responses indicating that they are busy and unable to assist me. Is this really the standard operation for a large fitness club?

Thought i was back on the west coast. The equipment is the basic out of date like California and Arizona. Must be the same owner. I was happy that there is a planet fitness here. I didn't realize that this one is downgraded unlike the rest of them mid to east coast that have hybrid tanning and the good massage chairs. I didn't think any of them east of Texas had the downgraded equipment. As a trucker, this is the only location I've encountered east of New Mexico like this.

I’m all about an easy gym and one that is economical. But I’m also one that takes pride in the work I do and I would hope the staff here did too. However if you look at the photos it is clear that pride is lacking in the clean facilities.

Mildew isn’t something that happens overnight. And neither is the buildup on the shower heads.

I have to get up extra early and to work out and I’m really trying to make this a healthy lifestyle as I’ve not been consistent. This was my first day back to use the gym in my early morning routine.
