This is my favorite PF gym in the area. Not intimidating, friendly and helpful staff, and clean gym and locker rooms. I've been going here for about 9 months and have lost over 80 pounds! I couldn't be happier! Oh, and their massage chair is the best in town!

This location is fairly clean although it is beginning to look a little run down. Most of the equipment works. One of the features of this club I want to utilize, the 30 minute workout, is impossible to use. There is ALWAYS someone in that area either just sitting on the equipment scrolling their phones or using one exercise in this 30 minute area. The last time I asked someone if I could work through they responded in a very unfriendly manner. Everyone in society seems to be adverserial. I have my account frozen for the moment but I most likely will cancel soon.

The club is very clean and the actual gym members are nice as well, don’t think the other gyms clean like this one. No judgement, fun to workout at and just a nice place in all. I come in the morning and there’s this young man, he’s very nice, respectful, and motivates me to come lol. Can’t quite remember the name but it starts with a N.

Super friendly staff and clean equipment! The tanning beds are lay down or stand up, and they have 2 different type of massage chairs/tables available for after your workout. Overall great place!

I love this gym! However, I wish it was a 24/7. I get a better workout when there are less people. Also, please fix your app. I was charged a late fee AFTER I had checked to see if I had any payments coming up. My balance stated I had 0.00 and my next payment is due in March so what's with the late fee?

I walked in to hit my usual workout here at planet fitness in Jacksonville. As soon as I walked through the door 3 beefy clerks, sigma as these gen zer’s would say, greeted me with a big smile met friendly words welcoming me in. I wasn’t too motivated before walking into the gym but when Wyatt told me to “have a great workout” it changed everything, probably the best workout I have ever had. The gym is always super clean and everyone is friendly! Thank you for the amazing service, I highly recommend planet fitness in Jacksonville!

3 beefy clerks at the desk said absolutely nothing to me when I came in. They need to go to used car salesmen school. Were they intimidated by me or are not paid enough to use their voices? Has a lot of equipment but no good spin type bikes just fatty seat ones. Gym is clean overall.

Nice gym. I travel for work and been to perhaps 75 or more pf gyms and this one stands out. Greeted right away by a great team. Leroy was extremely charismatic and a great asset to this pf facility.

I usually come here in the evening. The staff is very nice and helpful. Not too many people when I go, which I love. I can do my own thing and not have to worry about anything being taken. Everybody pretty much minds their own business. Doesn't seem like a judgemental place at all. It's very clean. There are cleaning stations everywhere. Overall, amazing gym!

Denied the restroom to a young child.

My niece and I were shopping at Bargain Hunt and their restrooms were out of order due to a burst pipe. The gentleman told me I could go next door to Planet Fitness and let them know we were referred because my niece has to use the facilities.

We rushed next door only to be told that it’s for customers only. I understand rules but when it comes to a child, exceptions can be made. I asked several times. There was no sympathy for my niece who almost wet herself. She’s 8.

There were two men and one woman at the desk. The older gentleman and young man said nothing. The woman turned us away.

The bargain hunt worker even came by and mentioned it. The woman said the exception was for the employees of BH only.

The woman didn’t care and barely looked at us. Just continued to do whatever she was doing in the computer.

I’m disappointed in the lack of humanity from this employee who seemed to be the manager. Using a bathroom is a basic human need.

I know usually, you get what you pay for, but that’s not the case here at all. I only pay $10 a month for my membership and this is by far the cleanest gym I have ever been to. The employees are always friendly, it’s never crowded enough that I have to wait for equipment, and the equipment is well-maintained/there is never broken or sketchy looking equipment.

When I say it’s clean, I mean it. I have never been there, where there is not somebody walking around wiping down machines, cleaning the bathroom, and making sure the place is completely spotless.

Even the locker rooms are sparkling clean. I used to go to another local gym and the showers were so disgusting I wouldn’t even want to go near them even with shower shoes. This one is cleaned throughout the day and they honestly do it well.

This gym is 15 min away from me, but due too Brittany the Blond front worker is the most inappropriate employee iv ever dealt with. I'll drive 25 min to Searcy or McCain just to keep a positive attitude, Just thinking about going to this gym and possibly seeing BRITNEY is a complete No Go WILLNOT recommend this location. Due to Britney, the rest of the morning staff has my vote.

Generally staff is very nice when I come as my friends guest in the mornings. The young girls who work the front desk Monday through Friday are the sweetest! Sadly the management is absolutely deplorable. I have heard the blonde manager, Britney, say some terrible things about staff and members right there at the front desk. Management needs to get their acts together.

I love that Jacksonville FINALLY has a decent gym to work out in. It is very clean and new and great equipment and location. My reason for the low stars is the staff. It is run by kids. Also, this is probably more a corporate thing, but if you are going to off a "30 minute circuit room", then keep the people who are not using the room for what it's intended for out. If a member using the room complains, then deal with it. Be prepared for it. Otherwise, don't offer the space since no-one seems to be able to read and use it for it's intended purpose!

1/17/2023 Update - 6 months later and I have changed my review to 5 star. The gym has remained VERY clean and in working order. They offer all forms of equipment for whatever kind of workout you want. There has been little turnover in staff and they have become more knowledgeable on handling uncomfortable situations. Great place to work out!

This is my first time joining a “real” gym (i did community centers before) and I was honestly really nervous. But I can’t say enough good things about PF! The staff is so nice and really go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The facility itself is clean and organized with a good amount of room. Even at “peak” hours it seems like there is plenty of equipment to work with. I’m glad they’ve made this experience a very positive one!

Love this place! They have awesome tanning beds that include red light therapy and you don’t have to pay extra as long as you have the black card membership which is like $25/month. You can also do red light therapy without tanning, regular tanning lay down or stand up , massage chairs and hydromassage. Plus the gym is very clean and the staff is friendly and make everyone feel welcome!!
