They should take the government money they are receiving for free teen memberships and put it towards making sure all of the air-conditioning works in the spring. Every year units don't work and it's end of July before they are fixed. Put a large ceiling fan in the yellow room where it's 100 degrees.
Well they did it again. Gave free passes to teens for the summer so PF could take charitable contributions off their taxes. Now paying members can't work out due to kids standing around taking selfies of themselves.
Air conditioning still not working correctly after a month and a half in 100 degree temperatures. They think adding fans to blow hot air around will help. What a joke.
I really liked the gym till they offered free memberships to teens that all they do is talk, on their phone and don't clean machines so paying customers can't work out. Now the air-conditioning hasn't worked for a month.

Location and equipment work great for me. $15 a month to use their cardio equipment, that’s well maintained and new, is a great value. The gym is very clean and well maintained; the staff do a great job. I go during non peak hours and there’s always available cardio machines and just the right amount of people to create a good atmosphere. Would recommend

Planet fitness has made it incredibly difficult to actually cancel a membership. I went in-person to cancel, and they continued to bill me for months afterwards, and then didn’t refund the full amount when I followed up with them. I appreciate the managers trying, but I’m really disappointed they have intentionally made it so difficult to cancel and would keep billing regardless.

As a new member I was very impressed with the knowledgeable staff and the fact they are very approachable. Yahaira, Chyna and Vanessa went out of their way to introduce some of the newer machines and how to use them. I have been to other PF centers but I would have to say this location has impressed me the most. The other staff members I have engaged with were also great, can't remember their names.

You can’t take a warm or hot shower at any of the planet fitnesses around here. Definitely not this one(Roger’s) it doesn’t even get warm and is worse when someone flushes the toilet. It’s FREEZING COLD ONLY. It’s frustrating

Can’t cancel membership online. Have to physically go into the store to cancel membership.
Even if you delete your account, they will still bill you continuously. That is a Ponzi scheme.

Planet Fitness at Rogers, AR is the best gym around. Alex, the personal trainer, is excellent! He listens and evaluates your specific needs, then develops a workout plan that fits your goals.

I had not been to a gym in probably 20 years. A lot has changed. When I first stepped on the door, I was immediately greeted by front desk. After I downloaded the app, the first thing he said was would I like a tour. I was happy with the tour and amount of equipment. I had some questions during my workouts about all this new stuff they didn't have 20 years ago. After I left that first day I was so anxious to come back. I like planet fitness and with a little motivation on my part, I think I have found my gym😊. It's nice to know there are people out there happy to help👍

Haven't used membership for about 8 months. The benches are always in use and I don't use cardio machines. Cancelled today after paying for months of unused services. Was told I have to pay an extra $63 just to get out of the contract. Do yourself a favor and go to a local gym. They appreciate you and your money goes into NWA.

I moved to Rogers about 6 months ago & I really wish Planet Fitness would open a location in the South Rogers/Lowell area. I am glad Rogers has a facility I was able to switch to but this particular facility is truly INSUFFICIENT, inside & out. (Especially when it comes to Black Card amenities & apparently enough workers to cover the front desk) The massage chairs almost never work & that problem doesn’t look as though it will ever be fixed but that’s for a different review. Each time I come to use my “Black Card luxuries”, I have to use a walkie-talking to even find an employee. Having a walkie-talkie available for emergency needs when staff has to step away is great but shouldn’t be the most used form of communication between staff & clients. A clean facility is great but the 1, & on occasion 2, staff are constantly cleaning. Someone needs to ALWAYS man the desk, even during slower times of overnight / early mornings. One staff member should NEVER be a thing. That’s not ok & it’s not safe for them either. Come on Planet Fitness, hire enough staff!!! Saturdays during the late morning to evening are the only time I’ve come that 2-3 staff members are working & even with 3 you’re still understaffed with all the cleaning tasks. Having to use the walkie-talkie for service is annoying to me & the employee too. With most of them it’s quite obvious by their rude demeanor. (Except the lady that works overnights later in the week & weekends- she’s great & never acts put-out) Having to get on a walkie-talkie & then wait for help every 10-15 minutes as I switch between beds (red light therapy, tanning, massage & hydro) is ridiculous & part of why I’ve stopped coming as often. It’s never pleasant to feel like a burden as a client. I’m always friendly & cheerful to whichever staff I encounter that day & I never fuss. I’ve attempted to wait for the them to finish their task instead of calling over the walkie-talkie but I’m left waiting 20+ minutes & only helped when another PF client eventually comes over & calls over the walkie-talkie on my behalf. I assume they think I don’t know about the walkie-talkie. Who knows how long I would have been left waiting. One time recently, the walkie-talkies weren’t working. I tried several times, as did others. I just waited but a few clients walked out. I happened to have time that day & really needed to get in the massage chair & hydro bed to help relieve stiffness. Again a random client came over to help when they saw me waiting & trying the walkie-talkie. They used their phone to call for the employee. Clients can’t simply call an unmanned phone/front desk even if the 800 number we all have actually called this location. But, we shouldn’t even be dealing with such lack of customer service. The client that helped had the employees cell phone number. To make each visit worse, once I am finally offered help from whoever is cleaning, I am almost always met with attitude. I shouldn’t have to feel like I’m putting an employee out to use the amenities that I pay for, even if I am asking for a different bed several times. As with all PF clients I do clean the equipment, beds & chairs BEFORE & AFTER use BUT I can’t use this particular equipment/ turn it on myself so what other choice do I have than to keep interrupting staff? If clients are cleaning before & after each use (way more clients do than don’t) why in the world does PF have their staff do what seems to be nothing but cleaning? The employee always has a cleaning cart in tote behind or close to where they come from so surely that’s what they are too busy doing to cover client needs. Maybe if they weren’t so busy cleaning they wouldn’t be so put-out with helping clients with things they have to have staff for. Planet Fitness needs to hire an outside cleaning company or have maintenance only staff for daily cleaning of bathrooms & floors like most businesses do. Customer Service staff shouldn’t be too busy cleaning to meet client needs. Please hire more help so staff aren’t stuck cleaning and clients left waiting?!

I enjoy having a facility nearby, but they are really lacking. 2 of the 4 massage chairs are out of order for over a month now, the computer system is extremely slow and constantly has problems. Takes forever to buy a simple water. The amenities for the Black Card are obviously a low priority to management. Not satisfied at all this last couple of months. Staff is very friendly though so that's a plus, nothing against them!

Great gym! Could use a couple pieces of equipment, like seated calf raise and pronated leg curl machines, but you can improvise with what they have. Also, sound off that lug alarm when people are dominating the space directly in front of the dumbbell racks. Preventing people from getting or putting up the DB's. Maybe put a strip of white duct tape that has "no working out beyond this line". They know what they're doing.

I have to give 5 stars for this gym because of shane hes by far the best employee ive encountered. I finnaly got to the gym after a few kids i started going to planet fitness a few weeks ago now and can only come at night. Every time i need some workout advice i know i can always ask shane to a to help me better understand the workouts and I can't say enough good things about him. I really enjoy planet fitness it has truly changed my life. The overnight 3rd shift staff who are Bailey and Shane make it more than welcoming at 2:30-3:00 in the morning before the rooster crows. If I ever have any questions on machines, equipment, and workouts they are never hesitant to drop what they are doing and lend a helping hand. They truly live up to the judgement free zone if I’m ever doubting myself on asking any questions or concerns I may have.

Just moved to Rogers, today was my first day in this location. It was very clean and the staff was nice. I'm coming from Denver and my home gym wasn't in as good a condition as the Rogers location. My only complaint is the water fountains don't dispense cold water. The water is warm and has a weird taste.

This is the third pf in my area that I have tried. I love the staff and the equipment, nut I simply cannot get an adequate shower after working out. In this one (Rogers) it feels like there is simply no water heater at all. There is also one in another city where I can only get tepid water, and in still another I can get hot water, but only for 2 to 3 minutes at a time and not every time. C'mon, PF, a gal should be able to get a decent shower. Surely part of my membership covers hot water!

It's ok, very bland and boring, equipment is decent, don't expect to get any free weight exercises in they don't go heavy and there are no squat racks, benches or deadlift spaces. The cables however are decent and you can get a good pump from those alone. Signed up for this simply for the 24hour aspect in case my home gym is closed, only complaint I have and it is nitpicky, extremely bland and boring color scheme, gray and deep purple, not unintentional they want people out of there to push people through. Overall it's just ok, not thrilled by it, not the best. Also, please reach your members to put their attachments away, it's annoying going looking for a specific attachment to find no one is using it or if you're wanting to use a piece of equipment and an attachment is there so you gotta go asking around if someone is using that piece. Meh.

Not enough curl machines. there's only two and guys keep tying them up and camping out there for a very long time.
The curl machine in the main workout area is awkward.
The other one in the 30-minute workout area seems to be tied up all the time

Just wanted to say that this PF has really great staff. Blake, one of your staff members is very friendly and great to conversate with. He goes that extra mile to ensure the locker room and stalls are always cleaned. Every visit I'm there he is always cleaning and keeping things running smoothly. I have been to other PF's and I can tell you, none of them compare to the cleanliness this location has to offer. Thanks Blake for all the effort you do to make me feel at home there.

I am enjoying this gym and will continue to for some time. The workout equipment is clean as are the restrooms and locker room. It is nice they have massage chairs and tanning available. However, during this time the employees working at this location are friendly but incompetent. Fellow members have been more helpful than the employees when it came to me learning how to adjust the equipment for my height. The tanning bed I went into was not cleaned beforehand and was gross with no spray available in the room. I think the employees up front can be a bit forgetful because they are caught up chatting with each other. Like I said, they are friendly, but perhaps need some more training.

This place horrible. Customer service is a joke. Nobody answers the phone because the high school kids in charge of customer service are too busy chatting and checking their cel phones. What a relief it is to cancel my membership!

I’ve been going to planet fitness for quite some time, I have to say this location is by far the dirtiest. I actually had to make it a point to tell the people always standing around at the desk and thats if you can find them that the tanning beds literally look like they never EVER been cleaned! You can definitely tell the difference in the the work/effort and honestly the whole vibe from Betonville to Rogers.
