Super friendly staff. The gym is clean and well maintained. Lots of new machines. Loads of classes available. They even have free tanning and day care included with membership.

Cancellation requires a 30 day notice. If you cancel 1 day after you pay, you'll be paying for another month. They didn't even say goodbye when they hung up the phone. I got the vibe that they were offended that I would ask of I would need to cancel as soon as I signed up so that I would not have to pay for 2 months. (Some of us aren't as well off as others and can't commit to $36 a month.) Prevail appears to me to be for the affluent residents of Cabot, and that's cool. We won't be joining with them.

I never leave reviews, but i dont want other people being ripped off and taken advantage of. When signing up for a contract we were told it was a year contract. Our payment was 41.01 a month for my husband and I. We set up our debit card to charge every month and it did for a full year. Of course, we hadn't gone to the gym in quite some time. My membership was up on the 18th of April, which i had already called to verify and was not told that i would need to do anything extra for cancellation. On the 19th of april, after already having my monthly charge on 04/18/17 removed from my bank account, another $54.64 went pending on the bank account. My husband called and spoke with prevail and they told him he should have read the fine print. They told him that since the last day of our contract was the 18th, they had basically started us a new contract. He told them we were going to cancel and of course you have to send them or take them a written letter of cancellation. We did. So glad that we noticed the charge when it was pending.

The music there has a lot of foul words not a good for the small ones. They have a rule on the wall says no foul language. They might want to pay attention to what is being played on air waves.
