It’s been so exciting to see Malea, thrive at Stage Door. The instructors, have given her the confidence she needed. To fulfill one of her short term goals in her young life. She worked with the staff at Stage Door, to prepare for the 8th and 9th grade dance team at the Jr. High School. Which she has made the team both years. Her weekly dance classes, at Stage Door, gives her the motivation to continue her goals as a dancer. I’m proud to see the inspiration that Stage Door, has given her.

I cannot say enough positive things about Stage Door! From the moment we walked in four years ago, we felt welcomed and supported. The instructors are not only highly skilled but also incredibly patient and encouraging, creating a positive and nurturing environment for the students. My daughter has grown so much, both in her technique and her confidence. The studio offers a variety of classes for all levels, which keeps her engaged and excited to learn more. We are truly grateful for the amazing community here, and it has been a wonderful experience watching my daughter thrive! Highly recommend!

My daughter has been doing dance with Stage Door since she was a toddler. We grew from ballet and tap to cheernastics and hip hop. My daughter is 7 now and we are there twice a week religiously. We love all the instructors. They make sure each kid gets attention and the performances at the end of the year are TO DIE FOR!! Must see for yourself.

I signed my daughter up for Cheernastics and gave it several weeks before pulling her out hoping they just needed to get adjusted to the newer class. The class is only 45 minutes long and they would spend 20 minutes “stretching”. They would then rush through a “routine” 2 or 3 times and spend the rest of the class sitting on the floor. If the teacher actually helped them with the routine it might have been a different story, but no matter how poorly they followed she would always just say “great job everyone”. They didn’t seem to care about helping the students learn and grow. Overall very displeased as my daughter didn’t learn anything and stayed bored throughout the class. I reached out to management and voiced my concerns just to be brushed off and ignored after being charged $155 in “performance fees” on top of tuition and registration fees. The class had dropped significantly in size by the time I pulled my daughter. You would think that would raise concern and that they would want to find the problem and create a solution. I found it unprofessional how they handled the situation. I had high hopes for this class, but I wouldn’t recommended going here for any cheer related class. The communication throughout our whole experience here has basically been nonexistent.

Nice people but the cheernastic class isn’t the best to be honest. It’s starting to feel like it’s a waste of money. Most of the things that are done can be done at home. For instance stretching 20-30 min when a class is only 45 min seems like a wasted class. Then after stretching they just ran around and stood on circles. It just doesn’t seem like much is being done the last couple of weeks or really since it’s started . I’ve heard great things about the dance portion but I’m not impressed with the cheernastic class.

If you're looking for a dance school, Stage Door Dance Arts is the place to go. The teachers and staff are excellent. My daughter has been dancing at this studio since 2020, and she absolutely loves it. I'm happy she's able to develop her dance skills while enjoying what she loves.

If I could give SDDA ten stars I would - I never expected to be a dance mom and certainly never thought I’d take dance myself, but here we are doing all of it and loving it. There are three things that stand out about this studio compared to others: one, it is quickly obvious that the teachers don’t see their work as just a job, it’s a deep love for them that they truly enjoying sharing with others. Two, modesty - I have loved seeing how amazing the kids look on stage, while at the same not worrying about grandparents and friends wondering what kind of maniac I am for letting my kid get on stage in outfits not meant for people under 21 😅. There is an art to being tasteful and it’s mastered here. Three, in the competitive program the “big kids” are such amazing mentors for the young ones, not just as dancers but as good examples of friendship and how to balance all that life throws at them as teenagers. The studio does a great job of making sure all the kids get to interact with each other - as a parent of an only child, the relationships with the older kids are just important to us as any others. Finally (ok it’s actually 4 things), I love that SDDA finds a way to give every dancer a moment in the spotlight…there are always some performers that are stronger than others, but here it’s wonderful that every kid gets to be celebrated for the unique talents they bring to the team. Those few seconds in the spotlight mean a lot to kids who struggle with confidence, and we will always be grateful to SDDA for helping our kiddo feel good about herself! 🥰

We absolutely love Stage Door Dance Arts. My entire family takes dance here and it is our 2nd home. Even at age 38 I was finally able to live my childhood dream of being in a dance class and joined their adult classes! Every instructor is kind, patient, caring, and supportive! I don’t even know where to begin. SDDA has basically helped raise my child and she is THRIVING! Not only are the owner and staff some of the most talented teachers I’ve seen, but the love they have for the dancers and families is unmatched. We love this dance studio!! Our daughter is thriving in dance and that has everything to do with Stage Door. The creativity is off the charts and every year I am blown away by the dances they come up with. The recital is always phenomenal. She has also made so many friends! It feels like family at times. Our 2nd home. My daughter has danced here since she was two and she loves it. The instructors are great and care about the kids. Under new management, but my daughter feels the same care from the owner and instructors as she did before and that is what is most important. There is a place for those that prefer to do recreational dance as well as a place for those that want to compete and take their technique to a more serious level. The instructors continue to be students in the art and that matters. We highly recommend Stage Door.

I really love SDDA. My kids have been there since they were little. The studio is trustworthy and has an atmosphere that feels like family. My kids would live there if they could. I also love how they are modest in costumes and dance moves that they teach. I just don't have to worry about what my kids are being exposed to. The dance education is top notch as well. I am a grandparent to an elite teen member. What a blessing this studio is for all dancers. I am so thankful for the professionalism and honest critique of technique thus growing the dancers. My daughter has been a part of the SDDA dance family since the very beginning. I say family because that is exactly how your child will be treated by the SDDA staff. This is the most attentive studio that we have been apart of. The skills and technique that Avery has learned over the last several years is so evident when I compare where she started. Stage Door was our first and best choice. The staff is the best! Welcoming, friendly, down to earth, loving and very skilled. Prices are affordable and the classes excellent. Lots of choices and opportunities! We had to move out of state last year and my daughter's instructors offered advice for the continuation of her dance career. Beautiful place to be.
