I miss the old gym. The memberships were less and it had a real laid back feel to it. The new gym seems very stuck up. I understand wanting upgrades but don't push it to where you make people not want to come visit. The old gym was way more welcoming this gym screams keep out. If you were going to throw up a building with this type of atmosphere you could have saved your money because this is a complete waste. I've talked to several people that feel the exact same way.

Incredible facility. I’ve been to so many countries, college campuses, and fancy gym. This one is by far one of the best fitness facilities. World-class. The workout gym has amazing massive collection of machines, free weights, and CrossFit like exercise area. The pools. The massage chairs. All in all, amazing facility. Well done Walmart.

This place is AWESOME. It has all things that a gym has and then some because it's literally the size of 4-6 big gyms. It has everything I would like to do that's doesn't involve my home gym or other activities. Racquetball, basketball and indoor rowing plus other great set ups for working out and classes you can sign up for.

Edited again changed to 2 stars.
How can a parking lot be so bad? Who designed never used a parking lot before?

And how can a new gym need to close for 12 weeks the pool showers?

Walton Whole Health is undeniably impressive with its beautiful, brand new equipment and a wide array of activities available. The facility itself is top-notch, offering everything you could want in a health center, including an amazing pool that stands out as a highlight.

However, the parking situation is a significant downside. The design of the parking lot is one of the worst I've encountered, making it a challenge to navigate, especially when heading up to the second floor. It's surprising that there haven't been any accidents given how tricky it is. Additionally, the parking lot is always full, which is a stark contrast to the previous gym that had plenty of space.

While the amenities and overall experience at Walton Whole Health are excellent, the parking issues cannot be overlooked. Because of this, I can only give it 3 stars.

“The wellness center Behind the Aisles
“

It was a casual morning in America, just like many others—clouds scattered like cotton, wind soft against the cheek. Myself and my husband decided to go to Walmart—not for groceries, not for home needs, but for something different this time.
Hidden behind the buzz of shopping carts and bright aisles was a gym. Yes, a wellness center inside Walmart Home Office. At first, it sounded odd—who’d imagine a space of wellness tucked inside a campus? But the moment we stepped in, it felt like stepping into a small paradise.
Spacious, clean, welcoming—this was not a place made just for profit. It was built with love, with thought. Machines lined up like loyal soldiers, a quiet buzz of effort and energy filled the air. There was no arrogance in this place, only quiet sincerity. And the best part? A hydro massage bed. I lay there, water jets dancing under the surface, massaging every tired thought out of my body. For a few minutes, I felt weightless, like all the worries of the world had taken a tea break.
As I looked around, I whispered to my husband, “can you believe someone thought of this… not just for business, but for people?”
It was true. This wasn’t some elite, over-polished fitness centre. It was humble, affordable, yet offering more than expensive gyms in tall buildings. You could sense the heart behind it. The employer who created this space must have truly loved not just his family, but all the people who work for him. Who does that nowadays?
I felt a strange mix of joy and regret. Joy that I found this place, regret that for six long months, I passed it by, always telling myself "tomorrow". Life had distracted me, pulled me into routines and waiting rooms. But now that I’d seen it, felt it, and understood the warmth of that simple wellness center , I made a silent promise.
"When I come back," I told myself, "this will be my second home. I will stretch, breathe, sweat, and smile here. No more missing moments."
Sometimes, the most beautiful spaces are the ones we overlook—behind grocery shelves, under price boards, between routines. But once found, they stay with us like a gentle memory of what could have been—and what still can be.

I had the opportunity to tour the Walmart campus recently, and I have to say—it completely exceeded my expectations. The facilities are truly world-class, from the design and layout to the amenities available for employees. The gym, in particular, was incredible—modern equipment, spacious workout areas, family-friendly spaces, and a welcoming atmosphere that promotes health and wellness on every level.

As someone who isn’t a Walmart associate, my only disappointment is that the gym membership isn’t open to the general public. I would genuinely love for my family to be part of something like this. The level of care and detail that went into building this campus shows how much Walmart values its team members. If it were possible to join—even at a premium rate—I wouldn’t hesitate. It’s rare to see a workplace that blends professional life, wellness, and community so seamlessly.

Major kudos to Walmart for creating such a phenomenal environment. I just wish more people could experience it.

I need to correct some of the reviews that are providing misinformation. Currently, Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness is the largest gym in the US at 365,000 sq ft.

It’s an amazing place to visit as a guest & as a member. The facility has crew staffed 24/7 to provide a clean & trash free gym.

The facility has 3 swimming pools, 4 indoor & 4 outdoor tennis courts, 8 indoor & 4 outdoor pickleball courts, a full gym with both free weights & different brands of machines for weightlifting, as well as cardio machines.

It has yoga, Pilates, & breath work classes among many other options available as well. It has numerous variations of fitness classes that will suit all ages & physically challenging to more of an intro class.

It has an indoor track, basketball courts, volleyball, racquetball, squash, & ping pong. Overall, it’s an amazing experience.

Best in class 10/10 gym and fitness experience. I do between 5-6 classes a week. Shout out to Amy Miller! She instructs the Bootcamp classes on M-W-F and has been whipping me into shape all year. Perfect mix of encouragement and pressure to push yourself! Other classes I recommend include FitZone with a several different great trainers and Rhythm Ride . I recently visited this fitness facility, it is the nation's third-largest gym and health facility, and I was overall very impressed. The space is expansive, with a wide variety of equipment, pools, and fitness areas catering to all types of workouts, access to resources for nutritional health, cooking classes, red light therapy and much more. The staff is friendly and professional, and the variety of wellness services offered—ranging from fitness classes to massages, physical therapy—is fantastic. The only downside is that it can get quite crowded during peak hours which makes it difficult to find available equipment or space in certain areas. Example massage chairs can only be available for 10min only. However, the facility's state-of-the-art amenities and focus on holistic health make it well worth the visit. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-tier fitness experience.

I’ve been a member of the fitness centers for years now. It wasn’t until about 2.5 years ago when I hired Amy Miller as a trainer did I very become consistent in going weekly. Amy has been such a great help in educating me on the machines and my form. I know without her help I don’t think I’d ever have made myself go to the gym consistently. Thanks Amy! I’m really enjoying the new facility and getting to try out lots of new things.

I’ve had a great experience overall—facilities are clean, well-maintained, and offer a wide variety of classes for all ages. I appreciate the monthly Kids’ Night Out and the daily kids’ care service, which allow parents to enjoy some quality time.

The kids swimming lessons are excellent, and most of the instructors are fantastic—engaging, energetic, and genuinely focused on teaching kids the fundamentals of swimming.

However, I think the fitness center could benefit from a rating system for classes and instructors. While many teachers are wonderful, there was one instructor who didn’t seem to be making the most of class time—there was more play than actual instruction, with only about 5 minutes of swimming practice in a 30-minute session. We observed this over a few weeks and eventually stopped attending that class.

The original facility was very nice and the new facility is pretty nice as well, but there has definitely been some growing pains. The staff is incredibly nice, and even though new facility is much much larger, unfortunately the lockers are the exact same size and are a bit small. The childcare facility, while only $3/visit per child, doesn't open until 8am on the weekdays, even though there is very high demand at the facility as soon as they open at 5am. It would be nice if the child care facility opened an hour or 2 earlier, as would better support associates that work out in the mornings before work. All-in-all, this facility is pretty good, especially given the fact that there are very few comparable gyms in the area! It'll be even nicer once the new offices open, as everyone will be very close to the gym!

Very disappointing. Parking. The garage is dangerous the best parking is taken by employees. The run walk track has walkers in the run lanes. Kids everywhere. If you have rules you gotta be willing to address exceptions. The machines have become unusable do to people just sitting there talking.
Double the price for retired Wmt associates and made the experience worse for senior citizens...not a win IMHO...

Honestly I'm disappointed. I was excited for this but I would rather go back to the old gym. Everything has gone downhill since they opened. Yes, its big and new, but that is all the positives I have seen... Try to actually use the facility regularly and you'll understand the nightmare. There are maintenance issues everywhere. It's not open 24/7. No parking. Always full of kids. This isn't really a "gym" its more of a rec center with a gym as one of the options. They do not cater to people who would like to get a quick workout in away from the crowds. I opened an account with planet fitness so I can work out when they are closed and its so much easier... and much cheaper.. why would I pay more for less?

Great place, amazing equipment, and awesome staff. Julia was very kind and informative about the recovery room. She was very social and gave great details about the program and it's equipment. This is a very nice spot to workout. However I was stopped by an random associate and was told not to take pictures of the gym so I was very confused by that. In summary I like the gym but it definitely needs more gym equipment such as weight machines, free weights, bench presses, and squat racks. The gym is more for cardio and recreation instead of weight lifting. 4/5 gym! Not bad at all!

Source: Google

★ 4

Good infrastructure. A few things though.

1. Bathrooms would be good if they had a better entrance way. You're always ready to bump into someone drying their hands in that narrow curb. Or they with you.

2. Dry paper towels dispensers are a good suggestion. The tissues around the gym sometimes are so wet, I feel embarrassed the next person has to use a soaked seat on a machine. All we have is wet towels , dry ones would be nice too.

3. I wish hours were extended. The high traffic and limited parking space would be better if hours were extended especially on Saturday nights. But it is what it is.

Same experience as a lot of others, seems it was built too quickly. They are repairing something new every time I'm here. Showers are getting worse, Lockers are staying broke for weeks at a time, the recreational pool is closed for weeks at a time and the other pool has two swimmers to a lane as I type this. Staff has been nice, but obviously they had very little quality control and released earlier than it was ready. Prices have risen in the little area to get food.

It's not like there's an alternative in the area, especially for the price, but boasting it's the greatest is obviously not true. When the campus is finished for Wal-Mart I'm guessing they will need to renovate a lot of areas or you're going to have a lot of transplants disappointed in the sub par quality, just check out the website...
