Great studio expect outside at night there’s no lights which is so dangerous and the bathroom is gross and you have to stretch for like 30 minutes and it’s just a waste of time .

In the two years my daughter has attended these classes, the staff never works on skills and therefore, she has never advanced in skills. In general, I have watched them spend 30 minutes doing warm ups and useless exercises (exercises aren't useless in general, but they need to be working on skills instead of running in circles and doing frog jumps for 30 minutes each session). Tonight, my child's group was left unattended for over 10 minutes on the trampolines while the teacher sat with one child across the room. This is not only unsafe practice, but literally, what am I paying for?!?! They got maybe 5 minutes of skilled lessons at the very end of class. I have previously switched classes to see if this helps, but nope. I'm tired of paying for my child to run in circles and then jump on a trampoline by herself for 10 minutes. That's free at home.

Update: I received a call from the manager a couple of days later, who said she reviewed the video regarding the night of my complaint. She was apologetic, never once made excuses about why a group of kids were left alone, and then said they would be making sure to go over protocols with the staff. She then asked me to change my review because "it is not a reflection of our reputation." I told her that it WAS a very accurate description of how we have been treated at this facility.
Anyway, the next week was fall break and then the next, we were able to go back. The staff was much better with not doing 30 minutes of conditioning and they did provide more skill in that session. So it does seem that the manager followed up with training staff and reviewing protocol like she said she was going to. Kudos for that. For that reason, I'm changing my original 1 star review to a 3. We put in our notice and will be attending another facility because it was just too little too late. The final straw was our children being left completely unattended for 10+ minutes. Unacceptable.

Update: Although my hopes aren't super high, I must say that the changes made have been significant. There has been a new (to my child's class) teacher on the floor these past two weeks and she has been excellent and has been really focusing on each child and their skill level. My daughter doesn't want to leave now and we decided to at least let her stay until she has a reason to want to leave again (hopefully she doesn't have a reason to want to). It is not often that you see companies make the needed changes when a complaint is reported. They honestly went 1 to 4 stars (not a 5 yet because of 2 years of pretty much nothing). I just hope the teachers don't go back to their old ways when not being supervised. 🤞

Last and final update: They eventually went back to their old ways and we left. No hard feelings, we are just done.

Unprofessional “dance” studio with risqué recital attire for young girls and teens.

Don’t waste your time or money on this place. It’s just a bunch of college students who seem bored and annoyed the whole time. There were a few instances where I heard them making rude comments to the students.

If you have a baby, or small child in a stroller/Doona, don’t bother bringing them. There’s no where to sit unless you want to climb two flights of sketchy stairs and sit on bleachers.

VERY outdated too

Unprofessional, Scam of a business! No way for anyone to benefit from these classes. The "instructors" spend all of their time standing around. There is very little interaction with the kids at all. When they do interact their lack of knowledge become obvious very quickly. They will continue to attempt to charge you after you drop out. The only way to keep this scam of a business open is to continue charging people who are smart enough to quit. And that's exactly what they do.

Edited to respond.
Husband this time.
We did call and inform the person on the phone of exactly what we are saying here, that due to a pervasive lack of professionalism from top to bottom, that WCG would not be a good fit for our daughter as she had made zero advancement, she had a strong gymnastics background having taken 2 full years elsewhere, but was put in the most beginner class, and regressed instead of advanced, I personally made that ABUNDANTLY clear on the phone, and I wish that the person answering the phone would have simply stated that you needed that in email format as we would have sent an email with the same sentiment, which is exactly why they didn't mention the "in writing" clause, because they didn't want the things I was saying in writing.

I see from the other reviews that this is a pattern that you manipulate for your own financial benefit.

I'll say this, drive to Durham in Prarie Grove, they are worth twice what WGC is and they actually want the gymnasts to advance and succeed

We have different accounts because we did multiple things...I (megan) spoke to someone in the building... he (dustin)called. You're being petty in trying to defend your predatory business practices. No amount of arguing with random past clients will do anything positive for your business. This is just helping the public see your failures. Thank you for your help in that.

It has been very disappointing to be in this program. My child who is 7, has been in the same class since 2021. There is no one- on-one interaction and no effort to work with them on skills. They don't pay attention to these girls half the time. When asked when we will move up, they tell you they have to have certain skills mastered. Which is how it should be, but they never work with them on these skills. They bounce from station to station without any clear direction or interest in helping these girls.

My daughter has been going a while now. She really enjoys it, she's learned a lot. Always easy to reschedule a class if needed. My only complaint would be the lobby and parking in between classes I really wish something could be done about that. It is pure chaos.

The office manager & owner feel perfectly comfortable ripping off people & then attacking their character. Poor business management & clearly hurting for cash flow based on the way they treat people. The office manager also told me to leave bad reviews as she did no care. She also auto enrolled us for classes we never signed up for or contractually agreed to. Now she’s threatening us.

Really I would not even give them one star The manager here is very inappropriate and they hurt for money so they will try and get you out of it anyway possible. they’re not good at communicating with you if you got in they will put you on a waitlist and without your knowledge start charging you I’ve asked her to Leave me alone because I signed my son up somewhere else and this manager just would not get a hint really I hope that this place
Gets inspected for fraud and put in the light for what they really are if you want to take your children somewhere safe responsible reliable this is not the place! I never signed any paperwork and the manager Was very rude and demanded me give her money!

BEWARE!!!! I would give this place a 0 star but since I can’t they get a 1 star be careful with signing up for a free try out class you end up in a contract and even if you call and let them know that the time they have doesn’t work out with you they keep sending you statements even threatening to send you to collection, she even admitted I spoke to her but then said I didn’t say anything about withdrawing my daughter ! Of course I will fight this since I didn’t sign any contract I just called for a free try out class !!

Honestly my dissatisfaction of this center is with the manager. Her communication style did not meet my standards at all. Very disrespectful and rude. I called to cancel my services only because my daughter has to go to her dad’s house for the summer. The manager basically throws a temper tantrum over the phone and I felt highly disrespected as a paying customer. The coaches/teachers are sweet, but my experience with the manager has definitely changed my views on this facility.

My daughter really loves the instructors. The basic gymnastics class is just that, basic stuff and is simple enough any kid could probably learn it and they don't push them too hard so it's great for most kids. For those that want more or have natural talent and want to go farther, they have advanced levels. My daughter is now in advanced class and it's longer and they push them to learn more and work harder (which I appreciate). I'm hoping she gets on the team one day!

A little pricy for what you get ($60+/- for 4 hours a month) but my daughter likes it. Kinda seems like you have to BUY the extra private lessons so your kid gets enough instruction or maybe the instructors are just young high school and college age girls and can't quite control seven 9 year Olds.
