This location is filthy dirty (bathrooms, floors, pool & spa area. Most of the time the jets don’t work in the spa. Water temperature is lukewarm. I’ve written to the home office with my concerns and haven’t heard a word back from them.
Now I find out my membership has been cancelled due to no payment received. I have a cancelled check showing otherwise. I’ve been a member for 30+ years. I hope 24 Hour Workout doesn’t go under.
I’m going to work with the manager and district manager to get this resolved. It’s so obvious my payment was posted to another account.

Edit (after a year and a half): This gym lacks cleaning. The manager says they’re constantly cleaning but it’s not true. Why are all the other gyms clean then. You’ll always find dust on the floor. Staff don’t clean the machines. And the machines are dated too and some don’t even “pull” right they have extra resistance lol. Management is a joke. It has potential but needs restructuring.

Worst gym I’ve ever been too. Got scammed out of a training package. Charge you 400$ and your trainer won’t show up. I am mobility impaired and 24 hr fitness has wide aisles where I can navigate to a machine or pool safely and without being in the way of other gym patrons. PLUS they NEVER make me feel bad or unwelcome coming in with a wheelchair or mobility scooter. Staff have always been very welcoming and helpful.

I really enjoy being a member at 24 Hour Fitness. The 24/7 hours fit perfectly with my schedule, and I never have to worry about the gym being closed. There’s a wide range of equipment, and I appreciate the group classes—they make working out a lot more fun and motivating.

This will stay a 1 star until they change the ripped rubber grips on the chest press machine. Machine W-6. Its been a year, fix it. During summer, theres no AC, which is get to save ac costs. But theres no air circulation. Its too hot and nauseating with the amount of people in the afternoons. Either Doors should be open or they need fans. One person mentioned they cant lift too much because the heat is making them dizzy. Just need air circulation. I think thats a reasonable ask.

For the past few years the AC has not been working properly. Way too hot and not enough air flow to get a workout in. Brought this to their attention in person. And the excuse they have is that one of their AC units is temporarily out of order. Which seems to be broken forever now. Will be contacting corporate to make a formal complaint. I got the year membership, and honestly I love the equipment, but the cleanliness of the gym is bad. More cleaning stations should be placed so people can clean their machines. Planet fitness has staff that cleans the whole gym at least twice a day, and their bathrooms are amazing compared to the EDC-like bathrooms here at this 24hr. Also, once you walk in, the smell of the gym hits you right away, maybe they need to find a way to circulate the air inside better? Aside from that, machines are awesome, more squat racks would be nice especially since the kids like to reserve it and do one set every 30 minutes, pretty ridiculous.

I have recently had to get a gym membership, and been going to planet fitness. A friend of mine mentioned that 24hr fitness has a pool and that's the one thing with a gym membership that I wanted and was disappointed that planet didn't have. Anyway then I saw that 24hr has this 3 day pass so you can try out the gym before you fully invest in a kinda expensive membership. The only difference between the 2 is the pool and sauna. Well I went to 24hr this morning to go swim and shower before work. I walk in and the website says towel service, it's 10 a month on top of membership and if you dont want to add the $10 a month you can purchase per towel for $10.49. Wow!! Right? Anyway the guy was pretty attentive after having i waited a good 10min for anyone to notice I was even there, had to repeat my code 3 times with c-for cat ect ect. Afterwards I make my way to the locker room. Witch is complicated and kinda got turned around. I went in got undressed and planned to rinse off and then join my husband in the pool. When I walked into the showers it was so gross, I almost showered in my clothes and shoes. I couldn't believe the handicap stall it was covered in mold from floor to ceiling and the bench was so bad I was afraid to touch it. But guaranteed that the underneath side slimmy and fuzzy. I chose the cleanest stall I could find with a door had to manipulate the knob to turn on the shower ( confusing on even how) . Some stalls didn't have doors and my husband say there were none in the mens side and no curtains either. I was grossed out. Will never waste my money at that place 💯 pathetic hire some new staff remodel everything and maybe but no that was the worst. Thanks planet fitness for your cleanliness. And no judgements gym.

I’m afraid to touch anything in this place — it’s disgusting and gross. I came in at 6 a.m. for training, and it looks like this place has never been cleaned. Just look at the pictures and judge for yourself.

I’ve been to the 24 Hour Fitness locations in Colorado Springs Colorado ones, and that place Looks like brand new — new equipment and clean — especially compared to the Antelope location.

I haven't been to this location for a while and when I came last week I was shocked at how much it changed. Filthy and dirty floor in sauna and pool area, changing room, restroom has paper on the floor. Air ducts have something black splattered around them on the ceiling,, mold or dust. Floor in fitness room looks like no one cleaned for years. Yeah pretty much anywhere you look just very very dirty.
I'm not even mentioning about uconvenient working hours and it's packed with people, evenings you would stay in line of 3 people for certain ellipticals... working hours, weekends they close early. What happened to 24 hours gym???
I moved to another location for now, if I find similar problems will be looking for another gym.

What an absolute nightmare this gym is. Most of the machines are not functioning. Tape for handles on elliptical. Nobody ever at the front desk working, always wonder if they are supposed to be getting paid to not be at the front desk. The best part is the owner called me last year and said they are getting to fixing everything. Well over six months later I guess tape is the answer. Let me start off by saying that I've been attending this location for the last year and a half since I moved to the area, and generally my experiences have been positive. However, last week my girlfriend and I have decided to switch to early morning workouts to fit her work schedule, so we've been coming to the gym at 5:30am. And here's where things have gone fubar.

Once last week, as well as TODAY(and it's only Tuesday) there hasn't been any employee there on time to open up the gym (which is supposed to open at 5AM, guess "24 Hour" is a misnomer). Last week, thankfully a trainer was able to run there a little before 6 AM to open up the doors to let us in, so we were just able to squeeze in an abbreviated workout.Several other guests had already come and gone, many after waiting outside in the cold.

Today, we sat waiting there until 6AM, with no employee in sight. We finally had to leave as we knew we wouldn't have time to work out, even if someone showed up right then. We still have no idea when an employee finally did come in to open up this morning.

It's our understanding from other guests that this has been an ongoing problem with the employee with the early shift- apparently she regularly oversleeps, or has some other issues. This is BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL for a business: either get someone reliable in to take the morning shift, or have two employees work the morning shift to make sure the gym actually opens at 5AM. For most of us trying to get our early workouts in, we have a very limited timeframe to get to the gym, get our workout in, and get back home before getting ready for our jobs. For your employee to not be doing THEIR job impacts us all negatively, and urgently needs to be addressed by management.

I've been consistently attending this gym for about two weeks early in the morning before work. The gym is decent, cardio machines are plenty but this is the second time in two weeks myself and other customers have had to wait outside in the cold nearly an hour after the facility should be open because the staff was running late. Customers are literally driving away seeing others standing around waiting. If staff can't consistently show up to unlock the doors when you're supposed to be open then perhaps you should find someone who can.

Women’s dressing room has garbage emptied frequently. I know because I’m there every day and see the cleaned bins there. Staff keeps the dressing area so tidy. Very bad experience with evan! He was very rude and disrespectful, he said I didn’t have any guest passes when I did, he didn’t let my friend in who could have gotten in, I literally got one of my other friends in last week! About 30 minutes later 3 white teens came in and none of them scanned in they just walked through! Clearly this guy was biased.

I'm new here. And theirs so many classes and opportunities to utilize so many machines. David is very kind and treats everyone with respect. He helped me today and answered all my questions. He's very professional and kind. I'll be a regular for sure. Keep it up!

Although I like the closeness of this location to my work and where I live.

I cannot stand the fact of all the young teenagers using this as a hang out spot. The people who machine hog by sitting on the spot playing on their phone.
Literally seen a teen sitting on a leg machine for 30 mins playing a game on his phone. I couldn't do my sets because he wouldn't move.
The pool is always crowded my the older generation hanging out in each lane just chatting. Can't swim laps completely due to the blockage.

I really like the employees. They are nice and helpful. But if your looking to get your workout and sets in, id find a different time and location.

This is worst 24 hours fitness in the whole city. I remember this gym under old management before covid. Was much, much better. Now there is no hot water in the shower for the whole month. And this situation repits 3-4 time in a year. When equipment is broken it takes them 2-3 months to fix it. In addition, they let in so many school kids inside, sometimes they just fooling around and occupying equipment just for fun. I just hope one day someone from upper management show up at this location and check everything. Local management just dropped a ball.

Machines are oftentimes out of service, but I blame the high schoolers who frequent this place to ego lift and show off their (lack of) muscles in front of the gym mirrors. Staff seem friendly, and amenities are to standard if you’re into serious weight training. Not too many 24 fitness locations have this high of a bench:square foot ratio compared to this place. Availability of weights and benches: 5/5 stars. Staff: 5/5 stars. Weight room and cardio equipment amenities: 4/5 Stars. Crowd of rowdy high schoolers every weekday: 1/5 stars. Would’ve given higher rating, but I don’t want any more ego lifters coming here.

This place is run down and dirty the staff is lazy and management is rude and dismissive when you raise any complaints about this location and on top of that they are no longer open 24 hours with that being said you would think they could keep this place in good working order.

Sauna is closed for 5 days for maintenance, and no one knows when it will be open. The company wants to take money from customers but doesn't want to clean and do maintenance on everything properly. Think twice before you buy membership.

I have been going to this location for almost a year now. I don't think they have ever greeted me when I come in, regardless of the time of day i arrive. I am paying to be a member here and I would like to be treated like one. They are preoccupied with talking to each other or just ignore me.
This one is also small, dimly lit, old, and it is difficult to ever get in the weight area as it is so crowded.
If I have time, I prefer to drive further and go to the Citrus Heights location.

I love 24 hour fitness but this is by far one of the worst locations. You can almost guarantee this place will be smelly and packed by 5 pm on weekdays, probably because of the vicinity to the high school. Many patrons come in large groups, hog machines for a long time and don't re-rack weights or clean up after themselves. The mens locker room is constantly smelly. I even had my combination lock shimmed here and the perp was later caught at the casino trying to use my cards. Make the drive to Citrus Heights or Roseville if you plan on working out during prime time.

3 stars for horrible water taste, way overdo cardio equipment maintenance, overall cleanliness (left a water bottle, was there 24 fitness hours later), and it's a hot gym. Did I mention it’s a hot gym? Seriously the hottest of all 24 hour. It’s unbearable some days to do any cardio because it’s so hot and humid.

Update: ever since I started reporting the equipment failures the staff has been awesome! I know they are limited at this location and they are very nice and responsive. Kudos to the staff! I should test the water again to see if it’s better. :)

But I’m going to have to stop comping here and go back to Roseville due to how hot it is. Not meant for actual cardio.

This place was clean. It was packed at 530PM... But you could still get cardio equipment without an issue... Needs way more sanitizer everywhere... There was no viable sanitizer and had to search for it... That's the reason for 4 stars... The classes are great, the app you can use while at the gym or home is great! I was honestly impressed with how much they were able to pack into that area!

Over the past year this location has declined tremendously. The staff is friendly but the facility is not kept up well. The men's bathroom smells like urine before you even reach its opening. The urinals are stained with yellow pee. The showers are filthy and rusted. Sauna area smells bad. The changing area is rarely swept and mopped. This is daily. I pay a decent amount of money for my membership and have been wirh the company for over a decade and I am not the only regular you feels cheated. When you complain, you are referred to yelp, because there is nothing staff can really do. I am also all for the youth getting into fitness, but most of the days there is no order. It's hard to find equipment that's not being saddled by couples or being used for posting selfies. Ive broken up kids wrestling and play fighting just so I am not injured by mistake. Staff has no control.
If you are serious about your health, and you visit this gym. Go early in morn (5a - 12p) Otherwise its like a Junior High cafeteria. Don't expect to shower there also. Get in and get out! I would not recommend this gym to an enemy.
