In the Spirit of Thanksgiving, my gym friends and I wanted to give a huge shout-out to the General Manager, Rodney D., at the Arcadia location. He is doing an excellent job running this gym.

The wet area amenities - the sauna, jacuzzi, and steam room - are a major reason we hang out here, and Rodney’s team does a great job keeping them clean and sanitary. Like any gym with high traffic, these amenities do occasionally need maintenance, but what sets this location apart is the effort. Rodney and his team are always on top of repairs and try to get things back up and running as fast as possible.

It’s rare to see a GM so involved and a team that actually cares about the member experience. Thank you, Rodney and your team.

40 year member. They terminated my membership even though it was paid for a whole year without warning. Never missed a payment. They said they were dropping old contracts, i.e. seniors who pay a little less. Classless, fraudulent organization. Filthy club, most equipment os broken. Thank God for the new EoS fitness.

Clean? No. I'm sorry to say after years of going to Monrovia (now closed) , I went for the 2nd time here at the Arcadia facility , Nov15 '25 and was disgustingly disappointed. sure first floor "looks clean" but go to the 2nd floor weight and machine room and I thought there was a rest room / toilets up there because it smells like piss. Looking at the floors / mats, looks like this facility don't bother to mop or wash down the place. Those mirrors? Looks disgusting. Check it out. The mens locker room? Filthy. Does this facility also care about the surroundings? Or for your patrons? Have you checked the garage and stairwell? I'm hoping this feedback is important , because after 30+ years of membership all I experience from 24 is regret.

I have been going to 24 Hour Fitness for about a year, and I can confidently say that this is one of the best gyms I have ever been to. I really enjoy the large swimming pool, the cozy jacuzzi area, and the great steam room. There is a wide variety of modern equipment and machines, so I never have to wait — it’s never crowded. The atmosphere is pleasant, everything is clean and convenient. I am very satisfied with this fitness club and will gladly continue coming here.

10-15-25 UPDATE This is legit one of my favorite 24 hour fitness locations. There is a CSR that actually remembers you if you leave and come back 3 hours later.

There are two others that treat me well. The one on Sliver Ave and the one on Telegraph Rd in Ventura. There is one individual at each of these clubs that offer respect when I roll up.

The connecting thread with me is that they all seem genuinely happy to be working at 24 hour fitness and express it in there actions.

I look forward to going to all three of these clubs when I am in their area.

The basketball court is closed until further notice.

The staff is legit cool. I like coming here when I am in town.

The women are destroying the restroom. The ADA stall door is no longer flush with the lock.
It takes effort to close the door.

You have to lift the door to close the door.

There is toilet paper and seat covers just being wasted by more than one person.

The needless waste is unconscionable. There is a sign at another 24 hour that states in short: "if you destroy the bathroom your membership will be REVOKED (caps are my idea).

The sign was respectful even though the "ladies" are getting fulfilled by leaving the restroom in a less than state.

I signed up for a 24 Hour Fitness membership about a month ago, mainly because of the flexible hours and the expectation that, with a premium membership, I’d have access to clean facilities and quality service.

Unfortunately, my first visit was very disappointing. The gym was dirty — there was trash on the floor, and the mirrors in the group exercise area were stained. There were no cleaning spray bottles available to wipe down the equipment, which shows a clear lack of maintenance and hygiene standards. The restrooms were also in poor condition, with visible dirt and an overall unclean appearance.

I’ve been to several gyms, including low-cost ones, and none have shown this level of neglect. Because of that, I decided to leave without finishing my workout.

The next day, I went in to cancel my membership. The manager who helped me was unprofessional and dismissive, which only reinforced my decision to leave.

Overall, my experience with 24 Hour Fitness was extremely disappointing. The facility and customer service do not meet the standards one would expect from a gym of this level, especially considering the price of a premium membership.

Nice two story fitness center with variety of equipment. Also, has a pool and jacuzzi. Enjoy the large exercise studio with hardwood floors.

This gym really needs better management and upkeep. Bathrooms are often dirty, lockers are broken, and ceiling damage from old leaks hasn’t been fixed properly. The parking lot is dirty and smells, and the water fountains need maintenance.

They also removed the machine that used to spin out swimsuits and never replaced it, which was a helpful feature for swimmers. With more staffing and consistent attention to maintenance, this location could be much better.

Broken Sauna, Poor Staff Attitude, and Ongoing Complaints

I signed up for 24 Hour Fitness in Arcadia because it’s the only location in the region open 24/7. But the sauna has been broken for two days now; and according to other members, it was out of service for weeks or even months last time. This kind of neglect is unacceptable for a facility that charges premium membership fees.

Members have been openly complaining about this issue, even discussing it inside the sauna before it broke again. It’s clearly a recurring problem that management continues to ignore.

Tonight, one of the front desk staff was completely indifferent and even suggested I drive to another location an hour away. That’s not a solution, it’s a brush-off. Thankfully, Zach at the front desk was friendly and professional, but the contrast in attitude was striking.

The sauna is a key amenity, and members deserve timely repairs and respectful service. Management needs to take responsibility and fix this immediately.

Until then, this location gets the lowest rating from us.

Fitness 24 Hours is a favorite place . I especially enjoy the group classes – the atmosphere is full of energy and motivation. It’s so convenient that I can come at any time, work out, then swim in the pool or sit in the jacuzzi to fully relax after a long workday. I won’t be going to this branch anytime soon….
Went to this facility around 4a, and found the parking lot smelling of urine and fences, poor lighting, and a handful of cars with people sleeping in it. I did think: “should I wait for the 24hr Fitness Monrovia (they opened at 5a) since there were already many red flags? Against my better judgement, went ahead and worked out.
Once inside I noticed there wasn’t any receptionist (which I thought was odd) and two (2) guys literally sleeping on chairs (one by the stairs leading to the second floor and the second one in the locker rooms ), while a third person rummaging in the men's bathroom taking toilet paper from the stalls. The bathrooms stalls and urinals were a disaster: pieces of toilet paper all over the floor, and sections of floor “wet”, don’t know of what since the cleaning crews weren't present. Nasty!
I quickly showered and hightailed it out of there NEVER to return due to poor lighting, odd people inside the gym, lack of cleanses, and no staff controlling the gym. Corporate, you’ve dropped the ball!

I applied for a refund within the stipulated period, but I still haven't received the $275 refund. This gym is so dishonest! During this period, I approached the front desk staff and the store manager. They said it was all taken care of and asked me to wait at home. However, week after week has passed, and I still haven't received the promised refund. I hereby warn everyone to be cautious when signing up for a membership card...

I’ve been using this location for a couple of months now, and I’m extremely disappointed with the cleanliness and maintenance, especially in the men’s restroom and locker area. It’s common to see trash scattered on the floor, and the shower area has a persistent moldy smell that makes it feel unsanitary.

This level of hygiene and customer service is unacceptable, especially from a gym that charges premium rates.

I’ve been going to 24 hour fitness Arcadia for years, and I have to give a special shoutout to one of the team members- Andre. Every time I come in, he’s consistently kind, helpful, and respectful. Whether it’s with answering questions or greeting members with a warm attitude, he goes above and beyond to create a welcoming environment for everyone.

It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about the people who walk through the doors, and Andre makes a real difference in my experience at this gym. 24 Hour Fitness is lucky to have him!

I have been a long time member of 24. It’s disappointing to see my gym slowly deteriorate.
Let me start with thanking the staff. They are friendly and always greets everyone. It must be a task keeping the place up.
I would ask the corporate/management to allocate funds to keeping the equipment in better shape. For example, every elliptical has one thing of another not functioning, rattles or makes strange noises. Sauna and stream room are out of order very often.
I also urge members to clean up after themselves, treat the gym like an extension of your home and don’t waste resources.

She was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions I had before signing up for a specific plan/program. Her personality is awesome and was super friendly, not once did I feel like I was trying to be “upsold.” Moving forward I would definitely reach out to her if I had any questions concerning my membership, any programs, coaching, training, or classes available through 24hr fitness. Switched from LA fitness only because they close kind of early, but I would see the staff spray the steam room/sauna, and clean the pool there regulary.

I’ve been going to Arcadia 24 Hour Fitness location for almost a decade! This gym is packed with so much equipment on 2 floors - cardio machines, weights, resistance cable machines, a turf, basketball court, swimming pool and holds many classes in a separate workout room. Plenty of sanitizing sprays & paper towels to keep everything clean. Not to mention the people at the front desk and managers are super friendly! Definitely recommend.

I've been coming to this gym for over 10 years now. It used to be a great gym but it has gone downhill these last couple of years.

Machines are constantly broken or missing pins, dumbbells are all over the place, there's about four 10 pound plates and one rope attachment for the entire gym which everyone is fighting over, water fountain downstairs hasn't been fixed in years, lots of leaks inside whenever it rains, and the basketball court has been closed for months now.

When there is an important sports game on, they'll only have it on 2 of their 12 tvs. The other tvs will have random channels on. Clearly there's issues with management and not spending money to fix things when they break. It's sad what's happened to this gym.

This place is fantastic and has been my go-to home gym for about three years now. My father introduced me to it and showed me how it fosters a community that builds confidence and strength both physically and mentally. I have been coming to this gym for a few months now. Its one of the few 24hr gyms around the area which is amazing. The place feels spacious and rotating between all the equipment has never been an issue. Aside from the typical gym amenities what truly stands out is the amazing training staff. I had the pleasure of meeting coach Juliette who is by far the most technically experienced trainers i have met. She is extremely knowledgeable in all things fitness and conditioning. Aside from her strength training she has the fastest hands and a pro at the mitts. The blond Barbie has a mean stiff jab. Ive seen her train kids who never thrown a punch, to becoming kids to not mess with on the playground lol. All in all great trainer.

This has been my home gym for over a year now. Love the atmosphere and especially the front desk staff. You can tell Samantha really takes pride in her job. Always has a great friendly smile and quick to help.

This particular location, I started coming to and consistently have been going to for the past 2 years. My transition from Planet Fitness to 24 has been such an improvement and going to this location that was conveniently located near the office helped. So as soon as I finish, I go to this location which isn't too busy around the time I arrive, which is around 2pm.

There is ample parking space, a lot of room for the first floor cardio machines, a decent number of squat racks (which could use 2 more), and the turf area is decently sized.

The second floor is where the free weights are location as well as the cable machines. A lot of dumbbells where you'll be able to find a pair just as easily. Cable machines are well placed, and there's plenty of machines to target the muscle group needed to be worked on.

The bathroom area is tidy and the lockers do its job of keeping your valuables safe. The showers are enough to go around and the sauna is decently hot (could be hotter, like the Sunset location). Overall, I've been satisfied with this particular location and coming here has helped me with my journey of self improvement.

The gym has all the equipment i need for all my workouts, the location is easy to find, love that there is a sauna, steam room, pool and a basketball court. It maaaay just be time for some newer equipment and some renovations since the building is on the older side, but otherwise, staff is friendly and I love coming to this gym 😊

24 hr fitness in Arcadia is great! They have a full section for cardio, and the second floor has everything you need to get a great workout!! Plus the people there are amazing! They treat all customers with passion and care!

Definitely one of the good 24s. Over the last year I’ve enjoyed interacting with the staff and the usuals on the gym. I’m usually at the gym morning or mid day and the traffic is manageable and I’m never waiting long for equipment.
