This place is ridiculous. There are 6 stairclimbers and only one works. Last week only two worked. Half the treadmills don’t work either. Paper towels are never stocked. There’s literally a trash can by an elliptical to catch water for the cooling unit. The place is always messy with trash on the floors… this place should be a 10 dollar gym. It definitely not worth the monthly costs

I’m a member of this gym, which has old and broken machines. The place is dirty, the locker rooms are disgusting — I don’t understand how people can shower there, with hair everywhere and mold on the walls. I visited this gym yesterday and was extremely disappointed at how small the place is and also how old the equipment seemed. Right away I noticed a few machines broken. The first one I tried (elliptical) had the screen broken, then the next one the elevation did not work. When I went to check the rest, for arms, legs, etc. they looked very old and they were also very close together, not enough personal space. Out of the 6 machines I normally use, I only found 2. I've been to many 24 hour gyms such as Glendora, West Covina (now closed), City of Industry, Chino, Eastvale, Riverside and so far this one was the worst without a doubt. Also, considering that it is in Chino Hills, I would have expected upgraded equipment at least, definitely not going back.

Looking at other reviews, including some made over a year or more, many people have brought up how the equipment needs to be upgraded so don't just acknowledge the review by simply saying that you are "committed to ensuring all equipment is in top condition..." and not do anything about it. Check out other 24hr gyms and at least get the same equipment.

I had trouble trying to get things done online so I decided to go in person and I’m glad I did. Walked in with my toddlers and one of the employees kept them entertained as I was assisted by Joshua. The facilities at this 24 hour fitness are only average. However, my experience with Trainer Leikela was excellent. She tailored my workouts specifically for my needs and also my specific fitness goals. She made a point to get to know me and was so congenial, engaging and encouraging that I couldn’t help but enjoy my time with her. I worked harder than I knew I could because of her coaching and encouragement. Leikela taught me correct form and technique in the workouts so I can continue with confidence.

The Chino Hills location can definitely use an upgrade of equipment. The camaraderie with other members is why I enjoy this location.

The trainers are very friendly, but some of the front desk staff should work on their people skills. (Just look up from your cell and say hi 👋)

All in all, I still get in a great workout. I just hope they add some improvements to this location. 😊

I have been a member for many years and the quality of the facility has gone down. Many of the workout areas and machines are either dirty, worn down, or broken. The sauna and the changing areas are dirty and have a stench. Not sure who the management is and what they are doing.

The only reason people come to this gym is because it’s conveniently located to those who live in the area. The equipment is subpar. Smells like the inside of garbage truck. Has asbestos literally all over the ceiling . It takes months before anything gets fixed or replaced. It’s absolutely filthy year round. Almost as if they are in competition with a landfill. I’ve seen homeless encampments in DTLA that have better cleanliness standards. Shame. Building should be demolished and 24 needs to be dissolved for the mediocre/shady company it is. No shade to the front desk staff though, I can tell they despise breathing the air there too.

Do not do any personal trainings here. One of the female trainer steals money from your sessions. She schedule your training sessions while you are gone for a vacation and she is aware of it. She still schedules your trainings without telling you. And she will put no shows! Putting your schedules even for the past months! I was charged for 4 times trainings that I didn’t even do because she puts you down for the trainings. She is a scam! Watch out!

I will be pursuing legal against 24HR fitness soon. I finally submitted a written letter to the manager. I don’t know where they find these people to work for 24 hr Fitness.
I called him on my frozen account due to an incident. It has been almost a month and nothing was done. Reason to frozen the account is to investigate, gather information, and present it 24HR to make a decision. He never called back. I went there on Saturday, he had the girl print out my file and will call me on Monday, he never did. I called and he once picked up, but told me that he had to pick up another call. I told him about my situation, and he simply said everyone comes to the gym for a reason.Due to his lack of response, I had asked to either cancel my member, refund my money, or let me know how long the account will be frozen. No respond.
He didn’t care. I guess the only solution is to see them in court. I guess 24 hrs rather pay a high price instead of response to a simple request.
Been with this gym for more than 20 yes. Bathroom and equipments are getting so bad. Don’t even take shower there anymore. The men’s bathroom smell so bad. Health inspections need to check the place regularly. I went to other 24 hrs fitness and they aren’t this bad.

Terrible customer service. I was considering switching from LA Fitness to 24 Hour Fitness, but my experience at this location completely changed my mind. I tried to use my 3-day free trial pass, but they refused to honor it because I didn’t use it on “consecutive” days—something that wasn’t stated on the pass itself. If you're in the Chino Hills area and looking for a gym, DO NOT COME HERE. This is the worst 24-hour fitness I've ever been to, which is shocking for being in a nice area such as Chino Hills. I've been going to this gym consistently for the past year, and it just seems to get worse. Take your business somewhere else or to the LA Fitness right down the street.

The bathrooms are horrendous and always have yellow mold growing in the sinks, toilets, and probably all over the floors/showers. The sauna drain has been clogged for 1 month now, collecting everyone's sweat in one convenient puddle for everyone to step around and hopefully not slip and cause injury. This may even include the sewage content. No wet floor signs in sight (or should i say sweat floor signs?)The mens bathroom mirror is broken and has cardboard covering it. I don't know how this place is even still open with health and safety being at risk.

The gym equipment is very outdated, and there's ALWAYS machines out of order for extended periods of time. I've complained mutiple times to management that 2-3 of the stair masters are always out of order and the ones that are crossed off for maintenance have issues with the chain which causes them to slip at higher speeds and causes the steps to spin uncontrollably, even if you hit stop/pause. This gym is a joke and disgusting.

While in the area, I decided to squeeze in a quick workout at this particular 24 Hour Fitness location. Upon arriving on a Monday at 8 am, I must say that the place was incredibly busy. It was not only tough to navigate but also a challenge to find an available machine. The gym itself is quite small, with machines placed very close to each other. Even trying to move around the gym was difficult as there was only one pathway, causing delays. Feeling uncomfortable, I left after just 10 minutes and drove less than 3 miles to L.A. Fitness. Unlike the previous gym, L.A. Fitness had terrible parking but offered 2-3 of the same machines, providing a less crowded environment. I recommend requesting a free pass before deciding on which gym to join.

Have been lifting here for 14 years and here are the changes I have noticed; men's bathroom is usually a bit messy, not enough spray bottles for hands, and the early hours are not convenient. Otherwise, I love my small, somewhat old gym a third of a mile from my house.

Staff are bit on the lazy side and just sits at the counter 99% of the time doing nothing but on the phone and chatting to each other. Very arrogant as well.Their Corporate should take notes and make changes .I have a family of four going there.

It's not very nice but it's got all you need. Sure it's not super clean but there's a lot of people who use this stuff. The pool can be dirty and then there's times when it's clean. The sauna and the showers work. You'll encounter the occasional hair ball, band aid and only god knows what. For $20 bucks a month, it's not too bad.

Nice personnel, but the stations always need supplies. Right now, there are 5 employees behind the desk, and at least 2 stations are out of paper towels. Maybe more, I didn't check.

I paid with a credit card for one year ($299) and it auto-renewed for the second year, but I'm sure I didn't set up auto-payment. You have to go to their manager to cancel it, which is annoying.

My favorite gym. I have been coming here for decades. They upkeep this place well. You can't tell it a super old facility. Basketball ball court is often busy.

This location it's okay to workout as long you don't go on busy hours. The ''gym'' space is very small for all the equipment they have, so you are pretty much working out on the top of people. Btw equipment is old and most of it is in bad shape, also they lack in very important equipment for great workout's and the squat rack only two available so good luck on that lol. Although the staff seems friendly and they don't seem to bother anyone which is a great thing comparing to other 24hours locations! I just come here because it's convenient for me, not because it's a great place to go. I just wish they had their staff walking around more often and re-organizing the weights and other stuff as people leave it everywhere. Also when comes to ''clean place'' their not much of it, most the machines are full with heavy dirt from months and cardio machines they always full of sweat from everyone. Unfortunately can't give 5 stars to this place and I hope they improve but it's a corporation so don't expect much from it.

I really enjoyed this location but it has gotten to a point where I can’t even work out. Every machine is taken and they close at 10pm. Even when I got at 9pm, it is very busy. It’s such a huge inconvenience to pay 40$ when you can’t use the machines. I really wish they would consider closing later at least until 12am.I unfortunately had to cancel my membership, I won’t be paying 40$ when I can’t use the machines.

I don’t have really anything too positive to say about this gym. Its filthy. This Chino Hills 24 hour fitness is super outdated and dirty. The Chino location is a little more updated but it’s also dirty. I think it has a lot to do with hardly ever seeing any cleaning crew out on the floor or in the locker rooms. The saunas look like they’ve never been cleaned before. The pool people completely soak the sauna and track dirt in so the floor looks muddy. The wood that you sit on in the sauna is heavily stained and looks like it’s never been cleaned once. I’m only here because my boyfriend pays for my membership, but I plan on leaving soon to a new gym that’s hopefully well-maintained.

Worst yoga class, the room was smelly and floor was dirty. The basketball court must be next door, the ball can be heard hitting the wall. The yoga class was very basic. I wanted to leave half way through but she kept smiling at me.

This gym is constantly being wiped down and cleaned. It has convenient hours and the people are very cordial that work there and attend the gym. I have been a member of gyms all my life and 24-hour fitness if one of the top ones.

Visited 24 fitness Chino Hills since its reopening and found it to be not any cleaner than pre COVID-19.
Check in is a hassle. Majority of members are neither wearing masks once inside or social distancing. Observed guests shouting across machines to each other. Majority of members neither wiping down equipment before or after use. Nothing has changed, still one of the “filthiest” gyms around. After 15 year membership including family members, I will be terminating my membership.

I’m really so disappointed about 24hr fitness after been a member at 24 hr fitness for years. My uncle and aunty were visiting me and I wanted to take them to the gym with me, so I requested two passes just for today from Bernardo, manager in charge and he said I have to pay $20 per person for it. I got one to three day passes before and taken my family and friends when they were visiting. Also, 24 fitness has given day passes online before. I would not renew my membership from here. Will call Sara the area manager on Monday to complain personally.
