I really like this gym — it has a nice variety of brand-new strength training machines downstairs after the renovation, and they’re very useful and comfortable to work out with. Overall the gym is spacious and has good potential.

However, the air conditioning hasn’t been working properly for a while, which makes the workout area feel uncomfortable. There’s often a noticeable sweat smell and sometimes even a garlic odor in the gym. Also, on the upper floor, there are still leftover construction materials that create some visual clutter.

If they fix the AC and clean up the upstairs area, this location could easily be one of the best.

This gym needs to do better. Homeless people come to sauna hang clothes up to dry which is a fire hazard.
Bathrooms mens has not been sanitized or cleaned on a daily basis.

Unfortunately the 24-hour just down the street closed. This is a real bummer because it is very difficult to find a time that is not so busy. Too many additional members but it is what it is and I will just deal with it

Overall it is a great gym. They're a little short on certain weight machines that I like to use but usually people will let you work in with them. Sometimes the pool, jacuzzi, steam room or sauna are down, but that's part of life and I always remain
patient with them. Hands down! The staff is very polite and they work very hard to keep the gym as clean as possible and that is quite a job with the number of people that frequent here.

Be careful with the auto-renew membership. I was told at the front desk that it would only renew after I received an email asking me to confirm whether I wanted to proceed for the next year. If I didn’t reply, the membership would be canceled automatically.

Despite this, they charged me for the entire year without me using the gym. I spoke to the local manager, but even though they acknowledged I hadn’t used the gym, they said there was nothing they could do about it. Do not trust what the front desk employee informs you. Do your research first to verify how they operate their business.

I’ve been a member at 24 Hour Fitness for a while now, and one of the things that consistently impresses me is how clean and well-kept the gym is. From the moment you walk in, it’s clear that the staff takes hygiene and maintenance seriously.

I came in to check out the gym before possibly signing up, but the state of the bathrooms was honestly a huge turn-off.

The toilet area was a mess — paper and gloves were all over the floor and seat, like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time.

The sink area wasn’t any better. There were used tissues left on the counter, and it looked like someone shaved and just left all the hair behind.
