By far the dirtiest gym I've been to. I tried to get past it since its the only one in Escondido open 24 hours. Asked a gentleman in the sauna if he wouldnt mind turning off his phone. He was scrolling through social media watching videos while chatting with another guest & then started playing music. He continued to do so. I decided to get up & leave, only to be stopped by staff on the way out to let me know that guest are allowed to play whatever they want on their phones. Several bathrooms & showers are broken or out of use. Sinks & showers are compacted with dirt. Poor gym etiquette. Would not recommend. Stick to the early closing hours at the mall.

Do the people at the front desk not like to be there? I genuinely want to know because every time I come in (morning, early afternoon) the people at the desk don’t even acknowledge me. Today I said hello to the girl at the front and she didn’t even respond. The staff at the desk need to understand that some people probably had a hard time even showing up to workout and they should be more friendly! I might have to switch locations because it’s happened multiple times. I’ve worked customer service for over 15 years and I couldn’t even fathom being so rude at the front. Do better please!

I recently transferred my Membership from LA Fitness to 24Hr Fitness due to a discount my Association offered. The transition was sooo simple, I am so grateful for Brandon Thole to have made the entire experience far and beyond greater than I expected. I am so grateful to have made the move.

The only downsides to the business that I have are that the free weights section can oftentimes get crowded, depending on the time you visit. The only complaint I have, really, is the Women's showers: the shower heads really don't make sense. It's uncomfortable having to turn on the knob when the water sprouts straight at you. I wish someone along the way had caught the poor design and stopped it, but now we have to deal with the way it's laid out.

Gym is filthy. Some areas smell very bad, e.g. near the barbells. Lots of broken machines and worn out padding. The AC is very low, probably set to 78F+ and very little airflow. Don't even dare go into the bathroom.

Edit: the parking lot is full of trash. You have usually 2-3 guys sitting at the front desk on their phones letting 1 out of 4 people in without even tapping in, why not have them go pick up the trash? Why do I even pay for a membership? I can clearly see so many people walk in without getting stopped. This also adds to the crowding at certain hours.

This place is a total dump. Too many machines are out of service. Equipment hasn’t been updated since 1992 and locker room is wasted. Missing shower doors and entire locker room hasn’t been douched in months. Bandaids, empty grocery bags, socks, clothing throughout. Can’t anyone clean this mess? Completely disgusting. Did I mention the stench that lingers? Not worth the price. Not even close. This dump is worse than anyplace I’ve ever been. Stay away.

Lilli is an amazing zumba instructor who is a leader in zumba community in southern california. She even coordinates special extended zumba "workout parties" as well as health events to benefit zumba member in need. I truly care about my friends in my zumba family. This class kept me healthy in so many ways on my health journey. She is an extraordinary woman overall.
Wyatt who works in the front is the best! He welcomes me and everyone with a big smile and an encouraging greeting. He even remembers things about individuals and asks about them. I know Wyatt along with trainers and class instructors are a big part of this gym's PR and communication.
There's a reason why people from other gyms even come to these classes.

He is kind...patient..funny and personable..a great people person. I know he cares and truly is working with me to help me be the fittest version of myself ! Ive been coming since i was struggling with my health and was very overweight. Overall I have lost 140 145 pounds..and I strive to remain healthy.
I absolutely love this gym! Its not about "the way it looks.... sadly as some posted" its about "how it works". Theres a reason why its so popular!
Best staff .. best classes! Truly i can go to any 24.. and i do when i drive or travel, but this is my home gym. Dan the manager is so helpful and really listen to members. Machines are fixed when needed. Account issues are fixed.. and they are supportive when the "classes" want to do something special. He is very supportive about trying new creative things here too.
Classes are friendly..and welcoming as well as challenging. Everyone that is a regular really is more like a mini family..we support one another in our health journey.

Half of the equipment is broken within this facility. It's hot as hell in the second floor. But don't worry if you tell the employees of the broken equipment it will get fixed within a month or two. Mind you also the people who are shaving within the restroom leaving all their mess over the sinks and don't get me started with all the roaches by the urinals and toliets. Used to be a decent gym before covid. Went downhill fast from the numerous druggies and homeless people living in their cars in the parking lot. To the occasional fights on the basketball courts (because they leave the back door open so even people without a membership come in to cause trouble). To even the workers playing favorites with some of the gym goers giving them special access to the trainer room for their own personal use. This gym is definitely not a go to I would much rather drive down to the cleaner los pesquitos location.

This gym is in such a sorry state. It's all dirty, not just a little bit, but completely filthy. It's as if they need to empty out the pool, remove all the gym equipment, pressure wash the entire building with bleach, clean everything, and then establish a maintenance routine to prevent this from happening again. I've never seen a gym as dirty as this one. The mall gym, on the other hand, is usually spotless. I don't know who the owner is, but it's definitely not a corporate gym.

Just took Maria's Zumba class at La Terraza and had an absolute blast. Her smile, energy, music and joy for dancing makes you feel like you're at a party instead of working out. I love taking Maria's Zumba classes! She's dynamic, fun-loving and SO energetic! Maria makes it FUN how she dresses for the holidays and organizes "Zumba Parties!" She makes me want to come to the gym (even for an old person!)! If you haven't already, do yourself a favor and enjoy one of Maria's classes! I promise you will smile the whole time!

Nancy is best body pump instructor here in Escondido at 5:30pm. She pushes us do to more. Teaches us about the class. She’s kind, nice, very humble. Gives us advise. If she can teach the class every day, I would be there.

My amazing Zumba instructor Lilly. She teaches on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday’s I only go for her. She’s such an inspiration, amazing fun energetic person. She puts a smile on everybody’s face. She’ll talk to you at the end of the class and give everybody a big hug. I love this Gym only because of her teaching there!!… thank you Lilly.👌👌👌🫶
