I've been a long time 24 Hours Fitness member and I have to say it's been disappointing. I'm debating my membership these days .No sauna. No pool. No steam room. No hot water. Are you shutting down??? It's so sad. We pay for the amenities that are not available? Any information would be great

This place is seriously falling apart. I’m honestly embarrassed to call 24 my gym, but it’s the closest to both my home and work. It gets more disgusting by the day. The equipment is old and grimy, barely maintained, the turf literally has bugs in it, and the yoga mats are tattered and filthy. There’s never any cleaning solution or paper towels available—no matter what time of day you come.

The bathroom is even worse: trash overflowing, the first sink constantly clogged and practically growing a science experiment at this point.

And now the pool, sauna, steam room, and even the hot water are out for an “unforeseen amount of time.” According to the front desk, the sauna had an electrical fire and will take about six weeks to fix.

How could you go to the gym with? It’s so dirty it’s not sanitized and it smells a lot and all these machines are really old. They don’t clean them. I can tell like it’s just not been clean. It’s all dusty and some of the machines had sticky parts and you can just tell like it’s just not been clean. It looks like they don’t even care about this gym to make them look good. Though the staff themselves are very polite, management clearly fails to assign them cleaning duties. There have been countless complaints about the gym’s dirty conditions, yet management continues to respond to reviews without taking any meaningful action. Every time I walk in, the gym smells like straight metal. The women’s restroom sink has been clogged for two months, and still nothing has been done. Are members expected to clean the facility ourselves?

Today, more than five of us 24 Hour Fitness members came for a swim around noon, only to find the entire pool taken over by the amazing British Swim School. We were told to wait because they had reserved all the lanes — and one of their coaches even yelled at us, claiming they had the right to use the pool anytime they want. Apparently, they can even decide who gets to swim. Impressive! Maybe it’s time to rename the place “24 Hour Swim School.” 👏

I signed up for a one year membership and clearly said I did not want auto-renewal. After my term ended, 24 Hour Fitness still charged my card for another year plus fees and refused to refund me, knowing that I am not able to go to this gym anymore. This is a very misleading business practice. I do not recommend them to anyone and I will never sign up with 24 Hour Fitness again.

This place is falling apart , always dirty, bathrooms are always gross, equipment is from the 80’s and always broken.
Come on piles of toilet paper in the corners of the stalls , piles of trash on the floor.
Dumbbells have rust on them , all the pads on equipment are cracked and falling apart . This is the gym they forgot to care about

The staff is great, machines are worn down constantly broken, pull up bar has only 1/10th of the rubber grip left on it, weights are always in the wrong place but the numbers on the rack are mostly worn off anyway without clear indicators of what goes where.

I had expected this to be an upgrade from planet fitness given the higher cost. Was not.

This Glendora location needs help! Let me start by saying that this location is very dirty at all times. The management don’t address any issues I have pointed out. The basketball court nets seem to be ripping all the time so we ask him to replace we waited almost 2 weeks for them to be replaced that’s terrible customer service. The restrooms and sauna need cleaning everyday more then 1 time if they even getting that. Please address these issues!

I’m very disappointed by the staff that work at this location. They should be friendly and respectful of the customers who come in. The staff member who helped me was “Hannah.” I’m not sure if this is her actual name. This isn’t the first encounter with her and every time she has an attitude. She rolls her eyes and is chatting with another co-worker. This co-worker was sitting on the counter the whole time. This is a reflection of the company and management should take action. Employees should not give attitude, roll their eyes and basically walk away after ringing up water and pre-workout drink until it’s finished. This is a separate incident from months ago. I’ve been a customer on and off for many years. The main gym I go to in South Orange County employees are friendly and professional. I come to this occasionally this shouldn’t be the case. I would appreciate if my complaint is considered and is resolved by the company.

Unprofessional Conduct at 24 Hour Fitness

I arrived at the location at 6:11 PM. I had a situation I wanted to discuss, so I asked to speak with a manager. A female employee pointed toward a male employee and said, “You can take a seat.” I walked over to where she directed me, and she repeated, “You can take a seat.” I replied, “That’s fine—I prefer to stand.”

While I was waiting, a man came from the office and asked, “Can I help you?” I responded, “Are you a manager?” He said yes. I asked for his name, and he said it was Abraham. Shortly after, another male employee approached—I looked at his badge, and his name was Victor. Up until that point, Victor hadn’t acknowledged me—not even a simple, “I’ll be with you in a moment.” I found that to be very unprofessional.

I then asked Victor, “Who is in charge, you or Abraham?” He replied, “I am,” and gestured for Abraham to step aside. I found this dismissive. If Abraham is in a position of authority, why not allow him to handle the situation? Was he misrepresenting his role?

When I began explaining the issue, Victor asked, “What’s the problem?” As I attempted to take notes, he interrupted me by repeating the question—before I could even enter his name in my notepad. He seemed impatient and had an attitude from the start. I had observed him interacting with another family prior to me, and he was unprofessional with them as well. He carried that negative energy into our interaction.

I asked him how long he’d been a manager, as he appeared very young, and I wanted to ensure he was capable of handling the matter. His response was, “It doesn’t matter,” delivered in a condescending tone. When I asked for clarification, he repeated, “It doesn’t matter.” At that point, I told him, “That’s fine—I’ll take care of this another way,” and I left.

With so many qualified individuals seeking employment, I’m confident a better representative for 24 Hour Fitness can be found. As a long-term member, I’ve never experienced anything like this. Based on this interaction, I would not refer anyone to this location, nor would I feel comfortable recommending it to friends or family. I would rather pay more and go somewhere where professionalism and respect are prioritized. Now I see why there are comments about Managment. It makes absolute sense. I will definitely share my experience with upper management.

Needs to be strictly sanitize and clean --lots of customers and lots of germs. Dead roaches inside restrooms is unacceptable. This gym needs around the clock power steam to kill bacteria and germs on a daily basis like the one in Monterey Park. I’ve been going to this gym for years. I guess they don’t have a cleaning crew anymore. We have to go in and sweep and clean to be able to have a class. It is the filthiest gym I’ve ever seen. I’m surprised the Board of Health and OSHA hasn’t come in and shut them down. I feel sorry for the staff because they are very nice and friendly. VERY DIRTY is an understatement. This gym is poorly maintained! There IS dried gum in the cup holders of the stair master machines! YUCK. NOTE HOW I USE THE WORD “IS” INSTEAD OF “WAS”! This means that the gum is probably still there as I am writing this review. Additionally, the weight adjuster pins are constantly missing from their machines… I get that certain rotten gym goers aren’t putting them back, but this is a problem that should be addressed… If there is a fire, then I guess it doesn’t help that there are crumbled paper towels everywhere! What amazes me is that when I saw the cleaner vacuuming on Mother’s Day this year, he was ignoring the trash on the floor instead
of picking it up. I understand that the gym goers shouldn’t be littering in the first place, but it doesn’t help if the janitors are ignoring the mess too! I’m waiting until my membership is over before I transfer gym. Only reason why I’m still here is because of Sam’s club, they got good sweet potatoes.

Special shoutout to Billy. he’s always working hard to keep everything spotless, from the locker rooms to the workout floor. You can tell he takes pride in his work, and it makes a huge difference in the gym environment. He has a very positive attitude and not only does he motivate me I see him motivating other around him. This is the The dirtiest gym I’ve ever attended. When I sat down to use the bathroom, the bottom of the Stalls are filthy, dusty… dirty and nasty. Half of all the lockers were broken and the entire locker room was disgusting with dirty floors. You could just see the dirt as if they’ve never been cleaned , ever!

I am so dissatisfied about customer service from Hannah,she wasn’t helpful at all she didn’t want do her job right way when I come in and ask her if my girl can joint to try out for 1 day she said I have to pay 30 $ when I know first 3 days for free I do believe that’s type of behavior is not acceptable and I hope that’s she is going be Fired and don’t try to take advantage be behind register I hope that’s Maneger going take seriously action on her behavior and do instigation what happened thank you !

Started coming end of February. Overall pretty satisfied. It is pretty busy here often, but I do my best to come in early to avoid large crowds. I’ve been doing training with Georges which has been great! Very attentive, listens to concerns and implements thing we discuss into sessions. My only gripe about the facility is the women’s restrooms often seem to be overlooked with overflowing or broken stall trash cans. Otherwise, I’m very happy here!

I’ve been going to the Glendora 24 hour fitness for about a year and a half now and I couldn’t be happier. The staff is always nice and welcoming, the gym is clean and the equipment is well maintained. Special shout out to Tim in sales and was also a trainer at this gym. He gave me great advice to excel in my workouts and an awesome leg routine. Thanks Tim. Highly recommend this gym and thankful for the staff who keep it running like a well oiled machine.

If you need a REAL trainer , Val is your girl. She takes the time to actually invest her time to get a fitness routine that really shows results! I trained with her after struggling in the gym for years , now thanks to her I’m committed and have actual results . She really helped connect and find a rhythm so I wasn’t scared to try new exercises on my own. Truly grateful for her.
