24 hour fitness, was perfect years ago. The Gym, had an ocean
view, Air conditioners. The gym, was clean, the entire gym was nice.
24 hour fitness, should be known for a place to work out not messy bathrooms.
Excellent idea to hire a staff to clean. Can't expect staff to clean and do a good job if they probably never clean their room.
Cleaning a business, is Tax deductible,
A win win.

Nice staff, but that’s it. This gym looks like it hasn’t been changed or upgraded since the 70’s. Old, dirty equipment. Never see anyone cleaning anything. The window in the photo I shared has been collecting this dirt since I joined but they charge you a $120 annual maintenance fee two weeks after you join? For what maintenance? The pipes and vents are caked in dirt. Step your game up.

Always dirty. Tons of broken equipment and doesn’t open till 8am on the weekend? Seriously? Lat-pull down seat has been broken for 7 months now. When in the group class room, watch out for tumble weeds of hair floating by. I’ve never seen anyone sweep, clean or maintain this location. The last manager, Ben, had this place perfect and clean at all times. I’m guessing he moved on, because it’s definitely not the same.

Dear owner/manager Please fix the sauna door. It no longer closes completely and lets a lot of heat out. This is the best sauna around and I’ve talked to many people that come from different cities just to use the sauna. Your assistance with this is greatly appreciated.

Joined the gym to use the facility for weight training, turns out the cooling system is turned off for some repairs with no eta in sight, this is a basic essential. It’s been this way since 2 months now. Terrible customer service from receptionist who thinks it’s appropriate to step away and give a deaf ear while client asks on eta for repairs. Instead of providing a positive experience, I’m asked to workout outdoors to get some cool air. I don’t see why I am paying the gym fees, if I’m asked to step outside or even workout in the outdoors. Ridiculous!

This beautiful gym with a stunning view, friendly staff and tons of amenities is utterly ruined by the number of classless jackals who lack the etiquette of sharing space with others. It must be because it's summer, but be prepared for people entitled to hang onto equipment for 20+ minutes, taking up MULTIPLE stations, slamming weights that your grandmother could carry down the stairs one-handed, and loud obnoxious cackling that is so beyond typical "gym bro" culture. People can do whatever they want, and your mileage may vary, but after a good few months of coming here I can say this is pretty typical. Way too crowded for its size.

After Covid that fitness center became dirty: machines are soiled with sweat and dust. Looks like equipment wasn't clean for very long time. Dust is falling from the ceiling time to time. Cleaning crew concentrates on vacuuming the floor.

Out of all the 24 hour fitnesses in the area this is by far my favorite. Somewhat small but they have everything you need to get a good workout in. Staff is incredibly helpful and they actually care about keeping the place clean which is unusual for a lot of 24 hours.

I've been coming to this location for a few years. Before the pandemic the team and staff was awesome. After that the team has gotten very sloppy. The gym is always filthy. And then recently there was an incident with one of the employees. That when they worked out on their own they would take the blinds up and down and make it dark inside the gym. I was letting them know please do not do that this gym is not to watch TV this is to work out. From there it got very aggressive! I had to reach out to the manager of recent her name is tiffany. And this happened on Friday August 5th 2022! I'm always having to remind the staff to put towels in the dispensers Etc I'm very sad at this situation. The girl was verbally aggressive😔

Haven't worked out since I was in the military some 40 years ago! What a huge mistake that was! I'm now over 100 lb overweight! But I've lost 40 lbs in the past month! I'm on the road to recovery!
The staff here is great! The new general manager, Tiffany I met this morning apparently she's called Mighty mouse! She's a little one all right but I'm sure she packs a mean punch! But a real sweetheart and help me with an idea I had.
If you're reading this I would highly encourage you to spend $30 a month on a membership here that's a regional membership by the way so you can go to any of the local 24 fitness centers! When you boil that down to the ridiculous it's only a dollar a day and you can go everyday that they're open! Where else can you get a membership for so little and it means so much!
High praise for this little gym! Oh, and the people are great too! They're very friendly and I've already made a few friends!

Best gym I've ever been to by far! This place feels

I've been too. Reading all the reviews I realized most of them are extremely old and not accurate to the experience that I have had here for the last 10 months. I come at all sorts of times even staying here all day once or twice just to lift, hit the sauna or even the hot tub. UNMATCHED experience

I am very disappointed and shocked at how little the staff cares about following the new COVID-19 rules. "Everyone must wear masks", but less than half the people are wearing them and no one is enforcing it. Therefore, now it's my job to tell people to wear their masks while next to me?! Also, no one is observing the social distancing guidelines. The equipment is in the same place it always has been, which does not allow for social distancing. The gym had months to move things around and prepare for this, yet when you walk in everything looks pre-COVID. I interact with elderly people and have a baby at home. I will most likely cancel my membership. I believe the way they are running this gym is irresponsible.

Love this gym! I like the fact that you can watch the sunset while doing cardio. They have a great selection of machines and I heard they’re getting an Olympic squat rack, can’t wait! Jack was extremely helpful and made sure to answer all of my questions. He made the experience that much better!

I hope they don't shut this club after opening the larger one in SJC. It's small, not luxurious, but where else can you see the sun setting over Catalina as you work out? Yes, the equipment is older (as is the clientele), but I don't know of any other 24 Hr. that has an outdoor pool over looking the ocean.

I usually do ok here , but if there's even a modest amount of people in the gym at one time you wind up waiting for a long time for even one machine. They also have a pretty sort of meat head/gymrat contingency that will sort obliviously monopolize certain machines or spaces and not pick up on the fact that they are hoarding a space which sort of sucks. It's not a huge issue though. Usually it's ok, and I've had the staff be very helpful if I didn't know how a machine worked.

The guys at front desk is a jerk. So my Costco membership expired and I didnt know. This guys at front desk (I think he was a shift manager or something) suggested me to sign up for the month to month membership..when I did the math I told him that was better off with another Costco 2 years membership. He than said to me "well , I gonna put a note on the system so the don't accept another 24 hrs fitness costo membership from you". What? Thats not very nice!.other gym would have let you work out than ask you to sign up with them. I was very upset about thia manager actitud , this ia not the way how you get peoplw to sign up for a membership at any gym...this manahlgwr should learn How to sell and about cuatomer service !.

I'm in town every summer. It's nice for what it is, a gym at a reasonable price. It's clean, so I'm unsure what all the comments are regarding cleanliness; however, 99% of the people I see working out NEVER clean off the machine they finished using! Don't comment on the gym employees, point your finger at those working out around you. That goes for weights not being put back too. And don't get me started on the old equipment comments. Nothing is rusted, ripped, pealing or falling apart.

The club is usually dirty. Never seen staff clean the machines or restrooms. Machine are either broken or don't work correctly. So are even rusted and barely work. As much money we pay for club membership the machines should look in good shape.

wow blown away by Jennifer the manager. I came into 24 hour a few months ago and picked up my membership which is three times more expensive than LA fitness and the equipment is lacking and generally more dirty than LA fitness, as I walked in to cancel my membership she wanted to argue why I was leaving. It's MY prerogative if I want to cancel right? and she continued to say things in a threatening manner such as " you know you won't have all access to our gyms we are building 40 this year"..... yes I know that's what membership cancelled means. you could tell she was upset that I found a cleaner gym with more equipment for a cheaper price, offended even. I will NEVER return to 24 or will I ever recommend this gym to anyone. check out LA its bigger nicer cleaner more and it's half the prices..HALF.
