Anthodius is literally the best!!! At first I was scared of getting yelled at but he was super chill while still making sure we were getting a workout in. He was super helpful while explaining how to use the machines. I love this location so much!! I always feel motivated and welcomed from the moment I step foot in the gym. Chris from the front desk is always so welcoming and helpful. He is the one that knew to pair us up with Anthodius. 10/10 would recommend this location

Location is constantly dirty, many pieces of equipment broken at all times, mold in wet sauna, broken seats in dry sauna, always out of paper towels to clean equipment, and never have cloth towels for those who pay for subscription.

Awesome location. Huge parking area. Nice equipment set up. Large full size, one level gym with all the amenities. For example, basketball gym, swimming pool, Sauna, Steam room and dry room. Large locker room, everything is on point. Especially the staff! Awesome, cool, helpful, knowledgeable staff members. And this location is actually open 24 hours a day! Lastly I'm not sure if he's a manager or just a common employee, but he is beyond AWESOME and should be corporate. I'm just beyond impressed on how he carries himself, treat members (even the difficult ones), and always have that beautiful smile and warm greeting. I've also witnessed Christopher in action when member need medical attention. 24 hour fitness is lucky to have that awesome brother on there team period! Don't take my word, stop by the cypress club and witness it yourself.

We just got an amazing workout with Coach Thodi today. It's been a long time since stepping back to the gym and our personal trainer today showed my teen daughter and I the proper way to train according to our age, focusing on our weaknesses and giving us a game plan to reach out goal. They advertise online that you can use a free 3 day trial by going to a kiosk but then, when I arrived at 10:15, I was told they don't accept those types of passes after 10 pm. So I made a trip for no reason. Dumb draconian policy that's not posted anywhere online. Very irritating to be sent away to Lakewood, which is a 20 minute drive while this location is 5 minutes from my home.

The basketball courts are reserved for volleyball tryouts today and tomorrow from 9 AM to noon and the basketball courts are also reserved for volleyball from 4 PM to 8 PM three days a week here. It’s ridiculous that they close these courts for other schools to play volleyball at on the full court. There’s usually one basketball net that’s ripped and one that’s pretty OK and it takes them forever to repair anything or replace the net.

The bathrooms are always nasty and I’ve gotten my iPhone stolen here from the basketball courts along with many other people.

There’s poor air circulation in the locker rooms and in the gym overall and the AC is usually broken in the basketball gym. The only plus is this is the best basketball gym in a 10 to 15 mile radius.

I’ve been going here for years, over the past year or two it has gone down hill fast. Over half the ellipticals and treadmills are out of order, a quarter of the weight machines are out of order and almost all of them have tears in the leather. I’ve seen no attempt to repair them either, it’s like they are getting ready to close their doors and don’t want to put money into repairing anything.

Today was my first but not last visit to the Cypress gym. The facility was very clean and well organized!
Alex did an excellent job at the front desk. He was friendly and helpful.

The only note of improvement I would offer is fixing the SAUNA door!! It slams shut very quickly. This has the potential to injure a person pretty badly.

They are interested in an increase in membership sales but honestly how can you sell a membership to someone after you give them a tour of the gym with several "out of order" signs taped to none working equipment? This location started to go downhill, sadly. When I first came here less than a year ago, it was nicer and cleaner. Now half of the running treadmills are broken, for at least 4 months now. The ladies room , especially the showers , half of them lost theirs doors, some had the soap dispensers fell down on the floor for months etc…

**updated: the management at this location really listened and tried to make it better. I truly appreciate that. I updated my review and gave them 5 stars for the effort to improve and to let them know that I did notice the improvements (shower stalls doors were fixed, treadmills were fixed etc.) and hope that they will keep up the good work. I don’t know why someone would give this gym such a low review. I understand how there could be some improvement but overall this gym is very nice and clean. Every time I go the machines are mostly all working and good to go. The staff is very nice and welcoming. They do have a slight issue with the sauna which is one of the things that’s should be addressed seems to be breaking often but that is due to the people which I’ve seen over and over at many of the 24 hours fitness they keep messing with it by putting water where they are not supposed to thinking it will make it hotter. Same thing with the showers in many gyms they break because the customers keep messing things up by clogging them. Believe me I’ve seen it with my own eyes. But I do enjoy this gym it’s clean and pretty chill . Me and my son love this one late at night.

As a member of 24 for over a year and a half and having good experiences at most locations, this one is the worst by a landslide. It is dirty, outdated, cramped, and has the worst free weight section out of any 24 location I've visited.

I was excited after I recently moved to have one near by I could get to in less than 5 minutes. After giving it chance after chance after chance for months, I'm choosing to drive further away to go to a different location. It's infuriating to have to hunt down the equipment I need just to see it broken, misplaced, and dirty on a consistent basis. If anyone from 24 Hour Fitness's corporate saw this gym in person, they'd fire everyone and close it within the hour.

This location is such a poor representation of my other experiences with my membership. If you're considering going to this gym specifically, I urge you to go pretty much anywhere else.

If you need to designate 1 day out of the month to shutdown and clean up do it. With that said, this era of people and employees are a mess. I’ve seen it in other professions. Start with the simple things but someone has to start at some point because this place looks bad.

Putting an "Out of Order" sign on a bathroom stall when someone has an accident is not the way to do things. The whole restroom smelled horrible! The staff need some training on how to clean

My other review got deleted. I’ve added more pictures of how gross the steam room is day in and day out. The sauna has been closed for almost 3 weeks. This place never gets cleaned. Same trash on the floors day after day. People go there to improve their overall health and are being exposed to bugs, flies, mold everywhere. No one seems to lift a finger to upkeep this place. Truly disgusting.

This gym is gross. The machines are never cleaned. They literally have dust buildup on them. The floor is always filled with hair and trash. Machines and dry sauna are constantly down. There needs to be an inspection done on this place because it’s truly disgusting.

One star because it doesn’t allow for negative stars! Group exercise room is so dirty! Bugs, hair every where, spilled drinks stuck to the floor! People pay good money and can't even have someone to keep the place clean! Very unhealthy . Next should be to file with health and safety. So they perform inspection.

The dry sauna is constantly down. Drinking fountain in pool area has been non functional for the better part of a year. Gym equipment is often broken. The only redeeming quality here is Group X instructor Brenda. Otherwise, go to Long Beach or Cerritos instead.

Las maquinas están bien pero el piso siempre se ve sucio y no decir de los baños. Al menos en el de hombres el olor es terrible, el piso desde los lockers, toilet, regaderas, etc esta exageradamente sucio, los toilet y mingitorios están tan sucios que fácilmente alguien podría adquirir una infección. En uno de los baños sigue la misma mancha de popo que había en el piso la semana pasada. Yo trabajo en limpieza de edificios y también he hecho limpieza en gimnasios y fácilmente puedo decir que los baños tiene mucho tiempo sin limpiarse ni si quiera lo básico y mucho menos a profundidad, solo ponen papel y barren las basuras del piso. Vengo aquí porque es el mas cercano a mi casa y las maquinas están bien y tienen suficiente variedad para los ejercicios pero si necesito ir al baño prefiero interrumpir mi ejercicio y marcharme a casa porque no me siento seguro entrando a estos baños.

Im not paying $50 a month to workout with flys and insects. This gym needs so much! The experience gets worse every time —- please clean this place up, the smell is bad, the bathrooms are never clean. Trash all over the place. I’m not coming back to this location. It’s awful. And it’s an honest 0/5 stars
