When Ever I go to this gym. The showers aren't working. Or the shower heads have been removed. Or there's no Hot water (most often). The only upside is they're slightly better about letting the showers get moldy. But hey?! At least the suana is working! Nothing says gym like post worm out stunk wafting from a dude coming out of a literal sweat box.

This gym does not care about you.
Both water fountains on 1st floor not working. No handles to use for the cable machines upstairs. Weights are spread out everywhere. Machines are broken and there are no signs to not use them. Also have to pay for parking despite validation. It’s a run down gym.

Thankful for this neighborhood gym. I get a good walk back and forth and I don't typically use a wide range of the machines and equipment. About 30 minutes every alternate day on one or 2 machines and I'm golden. Gets the job done.

Worst parking lot ever. Not worth the gym, $20 parking after two hours. Security in building next the the gym to help with parking was extremely rude and unhelpful.

I spent 40 minutes trying to leave the gym, was late for work and security for parking lot next to the gym had no compassion, and was yelling just because I wasn’t smiling and was visibly upset about being so late for work and stuck in the lot.

On the evening of November 4th of 2025, I encountered the rudest employee at 24 Hour Fitness. Two of the front-desk staff mentioned that the employee's name was Alondra or Alondria? This specific employee, Alondra, was in the bathroom with me when all of sudden I felt someone glaring at me. She then told me, "MOVE. GOING OUTSIDE, MOVE." Initially, I was so confused because her shirt said 'Cleaning Crew', and I was looking for a sign, in-case I had missed one, that stated that the bathroom was closed for cleaning. I was extremely baffled at her tone of voice and her aggressiveness towards me. There was no sign at all that indicated that the bathroom was closed. She continued to glare at me while repeating "GO OUTSIDE, MOVE". She ended up walking behind me, and walking out the bathroom. It seems like she wanted me to move out of her way so she could exit the bathroom. The way she handled herself was extremely unprofessional, and plainly uncivil. I ended up confronting her and asked her if she knew me personally due to her nasty tone and aggressiveness towards me. I mentioned this incident to the front-desk staff, in which 1 of the employees mentioned that Alondra has been reported a few times before for being impolite particularly to the women at the gym. An employee that has been reported several times already, should not continue to be apart of 24 Hour Fitness Staff.

Place is dirty and no one cleans it. The stairs to go up the gym are broken and also the bathrooms have a foul smell people who work there are useless. If customers pay money they should at least take care of all thier problems. The trainers have issues with people. There is never any dumbells to use and also they dont put more dumbells i guess people steal them. Bathrooms are always dirty, the whole gym smells to AC or air. There is one trainer in particular who always starts fights with clients. So tell me what kind of gym is that?? Stay away from this place

This gym is a dumpster fire. One of the worst I've been to. The bathrooms smell. There's always missing weights. It's hard to accomplish some of my workouts here, that's why I've been working out more at home. I dealt with a rude staff member this morning. I guess he was doing fitness training with new patrons, I was working out at a station and he came up and asked me how many more sets I have left. I had 2 left. I guess that answer didn't sit well with him. I felt like I was being rushed. Last time I checked, I'm paying a membership. It's not like I was taking my time at the workout station. I usually knock my sets out. So I didn't like that. I come to this gym because I live a few blocks away but it's starting to be a frustrating experience. Like I said I'm working out more at home now.

This is the dirtiest gym I have ever been to. Missing weights, old machines, literal PRESS ON FINGERNAILS found on the stretching green. I wore specific shoes there because I knew they would get dirty. Seriously, they have black marks from stretching on the green. I felt like I actually had a layer of grime on me when I left. Wishing this was an exaggeration. I’ve worked out at many gyms in the past decade and have never felt so inclined to write a review. Please save your money and go somewhere else. I did and I wish I had never signed up.

Very bad experience!!!
I booked a trial pass online and received a confirmation email clearly saying to just come to the gym. I walked one hour to get there because there is no easy parking nearby. When we arrived, the guy at the front desk told us we needed to book an appointment — which was never mentioned anywhere. He then said we could go to another location, but that the policies there were different. How are we supposed to book an appointment if it is not written anywhere that we need one in the first place? Very poor experience and unprofessional welcome. I do not recommend this gym.

Been a member at this location since 2013. Waa alwaya buay, but in recent years the cleanliness has gone down. The dry sauna has a distinct odor that is like something of dirty underwear, and even with the new cardio machines and renovations, the running machines, stair master, and eliptical has remained broken after breaking down 2 wks after renovations.

Let’s be honest here – the space in this gym is completely mismanaged. There are only 3 cable machines, and there’s always a line for them (unless you come in the middle of the night). Attachments? Barely 5 options: short bar, curl bar, long bar, side grip, and the ropes (which now you can’t even detach). That’s ridiculous.

Free parking? Not a big deal – this is Koreatown, parking is a nightmare everywhere. But the benches? Only 3 adjustable benches in the entire gym. Why on earth are there fully vertical benches wasting space when adjustable benches already cover that function? Completely pointless.

Leg equipment? A joke. One leg extension, two leg curl machines for the entire gym – of course, constant lines.

But let’s get to the REAL problem: the men’s locker room and bathrooms. This place has turned into a homeless shelter. People literally SLEEP upstairs in the stretching area. Walk into the bathroom and there’s a guy doing his laundry in the sink. The sauna? Forget it. It’s basically a bacteria breeding ground used almost exclusively by homeless people.

On top of that – locker break-ins happen regularly, and the stench in the locker room is unbearable. Honestly, how does management still hand out memberships without caring who they give them to?

This has been one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had at a 24 Hour Fitness. The location feels disorganized, the gym is not well maintained, and cleanliness is clearly an ongoing issue. On top of that, I was even asked to exchange a personal item just to use the weights, which is completely unreasonable for paying members. When I expressed confusion about this request, the young lady at the front gave me absurd faces instead of offering clear guidance, a clear lack of customer service and professionalism.

At $30 a month, I expect a clean, organized facility where equipment is accessible without unnecessary obstacles and staff treat members with respect. I truly hope management takes these concerns seriously and addresses them, because members deserve a safe, professional environment to work out in.

Cool gym and pretty clean. It can get crowded sometimes but they do have plenty of spaces to do your own thing on a mat or cool down. They offer classes and the staff are nice too, Jennifer was kind and helped me find classes on the app and register. Definitely recommend.
